Saku blinked, not really seeing well in the dark of the cave, but she knew where to fire off the Ember at Chloe's request, the fireball lighting up the cave briefly as it blasted the Beldum, who retaliated with a Take Down, obviously enough. Saku skid back a few paces, but really didn't look all that tired from the blow. It was clear she could last this battle with ease.

Chloe called for another Ember, as Saku nodded, repeating the action as the Beldum zipped forward to slam into her again with another Take Down. Chloe tossed a Pokeball at the weakened steel type, watching as the Beldum was drawn inside, Pokeball scratching against the gravel as it rolled, trying to break free. For a moment, it looked as if the ball would break, however, Chloe grinned, watching it come to a standstill. She picked up the ball, transporting it to her PC as she recalled Saku.

He disliked the mines, however, despite his tenancy to stay to the darkness. It was too stuffy for his tastes. However, he had his orders from Notaro, and that meant he had to back up Agatha while they were operating down here. Even if it meant obeying that old hag's orders and going to exterminate a few bugs that managed to sneak under the doorframe.
It sure as hell beat listening to her rant on and on about her rather obsessive grudge on Oak for hours on end...
Slowing his pace, Israfel waited, and waited, ah, there we go. The galactic pawns passed him finally. He merely sneered as they tromped down the corridor. They certainly did lack finesse. Not too much closer, and the group at the entrance would have no problem detecting the grunts stomping down the mineshaft towards them.
That's where he came in. Of course he had his stealth to rely on, but there was always his surprises he carried with him at all times. The different items he "acquired" over the years to help his element of surprise. Everything from an assortment of knives to a rather handy pendant made out of a deep black stone that made him all but invisible to psychic Pokemon (he had some rather close calls prior to him finding this particular article).
The violet mist that indicated Agatha's presence followed him, he noted, smirking. Seemed the old lady didn't entirely trust him, sending her Gengar back with the crew to confirm the completion of orders. It made no difference to him, however. As long as the grinning Cheshire face of the Gengar didn't get too close, he could ignore the ghost with little difficulty, instead focusing on the path at hand.
There we go, Israfel came to a complete halt, waiting 10 seconds as he closed his eyes, confirming it a few seconds later when he heard the voices once more. Seemed the intruders weren't that far off.
"So Chloe, how are you and your Pokemon doing?"
Israfel paused outright at that, earning a whispered grumble from the stalker-Gengar. Which he ignored. About all the ghost could do was paralyze him, which would go even more against Agatha's plans, so he knew he had nothing to worry about from the trickster.
However, he never knew that he'd run into this crew again. Not only Chloe, but it was quite likely that others of the crew from Stark Mountain was present. He smirked, recalling a particular Vulpix hybrid that he had been ordered to kidnap for Notaro's plans, wondering if he was still among the group. He wondered if he had time to contact Notaro to put his little left-over surprise into play, but dismissed the thought a moment later. There would be no way to do so without alerting the group of his position. As good as he was at hiding, audible words were still able to be heard. That was something he didn't want to give up just yet.

Israfel honestly knew that they'd serve for not much more than a diversion, but those were Agatha's orders, as annoying as that was. Have challenged Felix to a double battle! Vhan nodded to the other's comments, not really knowing the blonde...er...purple haired boy. However, he was the first to notice the oncoming grunts and jumped back a bit in surprise. He shouldn't have been, though. Cipher had been much the same back in Orre a few years back.Kaya had spaced out a bit, but hearing Shirahime, however faintly it might have been, he snapped to. "Thank you..." he replied, his voice sounding like he was speaking her language to the others. He would even sound female to the Ghost.
"There's no way on Earth you'd be an inconvenience, Julian. You're our friend and you're always welcome with us." he told the once blonde. Seeing the hair color change, he did do a double take, making sure he'd seen it right. Before he could comment on it, he was approached by a Galactic grunt, challenging him and Vhan to a battle.
"Alright kid, time for you and me to have a Double Battle together. Pick a Pokemon and let's go." he said as he grabbed a Pokeball from his waist sash(which has replaced his belt), and tossed it into the air, releasing Tolkis for battle. "You can't fly very well in here, Kissbut do what you can for me, Tsu'll trouble with these guys Pokemon." he told the Togekiss who appeared in mid air and simply hovered in place.{Appearance: (5/7}

Chloe smiled to Sasha's question, "We've been doing well. Kaze's recovering a bit. I've been giving him a break since we ran into trouble back at the dragon's den in Blackthorn," she explained.
"All the rest of my party's been doing great," she smiled, "I've been trying to raise some of my lower leveled Pokemon while I'm traveling."
Chloe paused, seeing the grunts appear, eyes narrowing slightly with disdain. However, she made her way to the back, so the others would have room to battle. However, she opted to call out Entreri, more out of paranoia than anything. The Weavile perched on her shoulder as the two watched the others battle.

Felix had been enjoying Vhan's touch on his hair when the new people appeared. After the shiny eevee had peed on him he had hissed, and moved to Vhan's other side, moving farther away from the newcomers and the snooty bratty eevee.
Which was probably why when the Galactic grunts appeared two were able to surround him. He hissed at them, and so did Gigi, jumping forward in front of Felix. He was her toy to torture!
The mewoth hybrid was about to send out Terra when he suddenly heard a voice speak into his mind, and he froze. 'You have other pokemon, you know.' the voice said, and Felix could tell from the uncertainty and halting speech that whoever it was was new at speaking. 'Your meowth accidently caught us. Use us, we can help. Pick the last pokeball on your belt. His name is Brom.' The voice went silent, and Felix dubiously followed the orders, but it was an order, so he had to obey.
He unclipped the pokeball and tossed it ahead of him, and blinked at the sudowoodo that appeared to stand next to Gigi.
{{I'd prefer to have somebody else do the grunt's battling, really. =3 Otherwise I'd be too tempted to use their weakest moves. xP}}

"I've got the freak with the fangs." He announced as he sent out his beautifly. "Attack his rodent with Mega drain." {-30 from Nezumi} Julian snarled at the Beautifly as it attacked Nezumi. He pointed at the beautifly. "Nezumi Thunderbolt!" She obeyed, shocking the pokemon. {-170 Beautifly 100/270} The grunt was surprised by the strength behind the attack and sneered. "Lucky shot. Use mega drain again. I want you to take that thing down!" he ordered {-30 Nezumi 130/190 +30 Beautifly 130/270} Julian clenched his teeth, his fangs showing. "Nezumi take it down by repeating your attack." She obeyed, sending lightening at the hurt butterfly. {-170 Beautifly 0/270} The Beautifly fainted and the grunt returned it to his pokeball. "Useless, utterly useless. You won't take this one down like the last!" He grabbed another pokeball from his belt and sent our his Bronzong. "Bronzong knock it out of the park with Extrasensory!" {-60 nezumi 70/190} Nezumi swayed from side to side as the Brozong messed with it's mind. Julian returned her to her pokeball before she could be hurt further and sent out Ookami. "Ookami try Flare Blitz" The pokemon leapt at Bronzong, flames surrounding it. {-200 Bronzong 100/300 -25 Ookami 245/270} Bronzonng was knocked back from the force of the attack and the grunt had to dodge out of the way to avoid being hit. The grunt's eyes were huge as see saw the extent of the damage. "Quick Bronzong try to get rid of it with Etrasensory" {-60 Ookami 185/270} Julian shook his head to clear his own head as ookami was hit by the attack. "ookami finist it off with a fire fang." ookami obeyed, launching at the giant bell again with it's teeth on fire. She began ripping at the pokemon, her flaming teeth scraping at the metal and heating it. {-100 Bronzong 0/300} The bronzong fainted and the grunt quickly returned it. "What kind of monster pokemon are you guys raising?!" He asked in a near shriekl as he ran to take cover behind the other grunts. Julian sent out Nezumi and used potions on her and Ookami til they were at full again before returning them to their pokeballs. he felt a bit better now after the victory. The strange battle lust that had come over him before was gone and he was able to focus on the others' battles now. ((hope I did that right. I didn't want to bother with moves that required rolls and stuff.))

Caliga smiled to Daisuke, always perfectly peachy to get a compliment. Brayden couldn't help but chuckle at her behavior as she sat just a bit straighter, feeling rather important at the moment.
However, Brayden's attention was soon drawn from Cali as he heard the grunts approach.
"Thought you guys would still be here," he muttered, looking to Caliga. The Umbreon nodded, before taking up position in front of Brayden, after smirking to Miyuki, before turning her shoulder on the snooty Eevee. She could give a bit of her own medicine occasionally.
"Gin, you're my next choice for this match," Brayden summoned the Ninetails out beside Caliga. Gin'iro took a glance around, before recognizing the place, casting a worried glance back to Brayden, who shook his head.
"No worries," he assured the Ninetailes, who then cast an eager grin, always happy to have a match.
As the grunts that had cornered Brayden summoned a Dustox and Beautifly, Brayden nodded, calling to his partners.
"Alright, Gin, you use a Fire Blast on the Beautifly, Cali, you follow through with a Psychic, same target," Brayden called, as Gin'iro dashed at the butterfly, flaring his nine tails brightly as he blasted out an intense wave of heat that enveloped the bug. Not one to be shown over, Cali was hot on the Ninetails' heels, leaping into the air as her rings flashed, releasing a mental blast of energy that knocked the Beautifly very near right out of commission on the first go.

The Grunts commanded their Pokemon next, as the Dustox was ordered into a Psybeam on Gin'iro, as the Beautifly scattered a cloud of scales with a flap of its wings that created a sparkling gale.

After making sure Cali and Gin were okay once the dust settled, Brayden smiled, nodding to the two of them.
"Gin, you finish off the Beautifly with an Extrasensory, Cali, focus your attention on the Dustox, use a Psychic again." Both Pokemon complied, as two psychic attacks effectively knocked the Beautifly out, and weakened the Dustox, respectively.

The Grunts grumbled under their breath, as one of them recalled the fallen bug. Golbat was swift to replace the fallen Beautifly, as the Dustox was ordered into another Psybeam, again aimed at Gin.

Brayden knew that a Confuse Ray from the Golbat would be tough news for the lot of them, so he focused the next round on the poison bat. With a Psychic from Caliga, and an Extrasensory courtesy of Gin'iro, the Golbat fell, defeated, without much trouble at all.

The bat was recalled, as a Purugly was called to take up the lost position. The Dustox was ordered into a Moonlight, taking advantage of the darkness of the mines to recover its lost health.

"Alright, you're doing great," Brayden smiled, nodding to his partners, "Follow up with your attacks on the Dustox, Gin, use a Fire Blast, Caliga, use a Psychic, but aim this one at the Purugly," Brayden instructed. Both partners responded in kind, as another wave of flames and psychic energy weakened the pair.
((-200 Dustox, 5hp left, -100 Purugly, 210hp left))
The Purugly attacked Gin'iro with a Faint Attack, as the Dustox focused its energy once again with a Moonlight, trying to restore its health.
((+135 Dustox, 140hp left, -50 Gin'iro))
"Alright now, Gin, you use another Fire Blast, aim this one at the Purugly, Cali," Brayden called, as the Umbreon nodded, "Finish off that Dustox with a Psychic," he instructed. The Dustox was made short work of, as another flare of psychic energy effectively knocked it out.

The Purugly was left alone, as it snarled, Slashing at Caliga with its claws. The Umbreon wasn't that perturbed by the attack however, she merely sneered.

"Alright, time to finish this one off," Brayden smiled, glad to see that his partners lasted the battle just fine.
"Cali, Last Resort, Gin, finish it off with an Energy Ball," Brayden called. The Purugly soon fell, defeated.

Brayden recalled Gin after healing the Ninetails and Umbreon with a couple of potions, "You did awesome as always," he offered with a smile to Gin and Cali. Caliga nodded, faint smile appearing again as she stretched yawning.
While she waited for the others to finish their battles, Caliga opted to hang out with the others, although after a moment, she had to ask the question that had been bugging her for the past few minutes.
"When you mean interesting, is that good or bad?" she inquried to Daisuke.
