Andre sat near the playground on a park bench as he watched Aria. He ignored the galances he was getting by a few women. Too much has happened with women and he would like for it to never happen again. Being a bachelor for the rest of my life isn't bad. Besides who would want my genes? Sure, he could say he was the most appealing albino in the world, but was he really? With all his wit and charm, he could likely find his "soul mate". I just choose not too.

His eyes fell on Aria as he wondered why he was so ready to take care of the little. No obligation to women is a great factor... possibly... maybe... He sighed as he leaned his head back and looked up at the sky. He would let Aria and CSK play for an hour before heading back. He would need to check the expiration date on the cream. He was sure it expired last week... or he could be wrong.

Taking out his cell phone, he flipped it open and turned on the camera function. He grinned as he took a few pictures of Aria and CSK. He would send them later to Phia. He logged onto the instant messanger and began talking to a few college friends. Politics. Current event. Family. Careers. Which college football team was better. The everyday stuff that made up life. At least that made up his life.

Before Andre knew it has already been hours, he looked up to see Aria still playing. "Hey Ari, its time to go." Andre called out as he stood up.

"I heard that!" Andre yelled as he raced up to grab Aria. He picked her up in his arms and swung her around. Holding her up in one arm, he gave her a soft noogie with a soft laugh. "Not hungry, huh? CSK, are you hungry?" He turned to look at the kitten.

It's been a year since Andre last seen her. Back then they were just married and were on their way to their honeymoon. He wonders why the divorce rate is so high in the U.S and to his disgust, his marriage was part of that statistic.

Andre walked down the dull, grey stoned walled hallway as he followed a line of people, who followed a police officer. Just a few minutes ago, they were explaining the dos and don'ts of the prisoner visitation and checked the items many visitors bought to the unknown inmate of NYC Women State Prison.

Andre stepped into the room and gazed around a bit before he spot the person he wanted to see. She still wore her handcuffs on her wrists that was connected to ones on her ankles. He walked over to her with a light smile on his face. As he approached she turned her face away, her eyes staring at a wall.

"Hi," Andre said as he finally approached the table, "These are for you." He placed bouquet of her favorite flowers on the table right in front of the long brown haired woman. Her hair had the amazing ability to bring out her eyes. Those eyes were the first thing he fell in love with. "May I sit?"

She only nodded. As he sat down, she turned her head to her. She asked in a tense voice, "Why are you here?"

"You don't want me here?" He countered with a sigh.

"I didn't think you ever see me again after what happened..."

"Its been a year since there, Jen. I want you to know, I don't have any hard feelings about it. It took me a while to understand what you did."

She only stayed silent as she folded her arms, her gaze locked on the bouquet of flower he brought him. In a few minutes, she reached over and picked them up, smelling them. She closed her eyes only to stop the tears from coming out.

"Andre... I'm so sorry..." She said as she fought the tears back.

"Were you ever happy with me?" Andre asked and her was response was a nod. He smiled, "I paid for your mother's heart surgery after I found out. Jen... why didn't you tell me? We were married..."

"I was afraid... since it was so much... you would say no." She said and Andre turned his head away in anger.

"I loved you! We were married!" Andre raised his voice at her, standing up from his chair and slaming his hands on the table. Some of the officers began to approach them. "You didn't need to try to kill me the first night of our honeymoon! We didn't even last 24 hours!"

"I'm so sorry, Andre." Jennifer said, turning her gaze on the flowers so Andre couldn't see her expression. "I was happy with you... but I never loved you."

Everything seemed to stop at that point. His shocked expression froze on his face. How much he wanted to cry, but found he couldn't. He took a deep breath and found himself saying was: "I was able to get an annulment for us. When you get out... if you ever get out, you can pawn off your wedding ring for some good money. Good bye Jennifer."

Andre turned away from her for the last time to go pick up Ari from Joel's.
