"No, I understand," Junyi says quickly. "It's... exactly the same where I come from. Just not with money."

She frowns. "...But still, it's horrible."

The question put Orphne into a bit of a sobering silence. "Mmm, no, not married, but we are a couple." It struck a bit of a sour note with her, but the nymph shrugged it off and rubbed Airez' back. "Looks like we'll have to pass up that cocoa tonight, sadly. I hope you don't mind us leaving early, Kira."

Orphne pat her friend's shoulder and smiled. "We should meet up sometime." Snatching a napkin from the dispenser and a pen from her purse, the fiery nymph clicked the utencil open and scribbled something on the paper product, then slid it across the table to Kira. "Here's our address, feel free to stop by any time, hun."

With that, the woman gathered her things and waved Kira goodbye, prodding the shadowy fisherman at her side as she stuffed a cap back on overhead.

"Night guys," she said, and passed through the cafe doors on her way home.

"You know..."

Junyi clears her throat. "Where I come from, we have a belief that every person has one other that they are perfectly compatable with. A soulmate, almost. When they meet, both are able to just SENSE it. It happens to everyone... or so I'm told."

She glances away. "I suppose this would be where I act like everyone else on that goddamn world and coldly tell you that he just wasn't yours."

A sigh. "...But I'm not like them. I'm too weak to be able to sense things like that, and I'm too weak to be of any worth to my society."

"I think this universe just isn't fair."

"I'll be sure to," Junyi answers blankly.

"...Maybe you and I both need to find a bar or something." With that, she stands and begins closing up shop.

The long, akward silence struck a nerve. They haven't been together that long yet, so it was wise that they weren't married yet. Kira chuckled nervously, "It hasn't been too long since you two were together. Some people I know's parent's didn't marry until 10 years later!" She hoped this would cure that horrible silence.

Now those two were leaving, "Aww, it's alright. I have to wake up early tomorrow to finish up my house anyhow. G'night Orphne, Airez." Kira took the napkin with the address on it. Tucking it in her pocket, she felt kind of bad not ordering anything. Pulling out her wallet, she took out what she thinks is enough for coffee or something, setting the money on the table, she wrote on the napkin, 'Sorry for not ordering anything! I'll be sure to order next time! ~Kira'

With that, she gathered her clothes, slipped the coat, hat, gloves, etc on. Kira opened the door, walking out quickly, she headed back towards home. But before that, she HAS to stop by some store to buy one of those air filter things for her house. Oh lord, did it SMELL.

Pink, anxious for some intelligent full of stimuli adult interaction, skipped happily into the little coffee shop and plopped herself on a comfy chair at the bar. She shedded her nice purple coat, took off her gloves and gave a nice big, warm smile up at an unfamiliar lady behind the counter.

"I don't think we've met." She said gently, and extended her right hand. "My name's Pink!"

"Ohhh!" Pink said, after realsing her hand. "You must be the owner. Nice to meet you. Can I have a carmel apple cider?" She asked, turning her head toward the giggles. "And who is that cutie over there?" She said with a smile and little wink toward the baby.
