Rosemary stuck her tongue out at Qwerrty. She didn't like this lunar that much, oh not at all. The little showoff. Oh well, who cares if this tiny dog-like creature's bigger then her? If she spread her wings out, she'd be three times bigger then that brat. Good thing about wings- makes you look bigger, a lot bigger. It was instinct to fan them open when frightened, in hopes of scaring off whatever's scaring oneself.
And this guy's wings were what? The size of a nail? Ha! Like to see him try to stay airborne for very long with such small surface area.
Rosemary settled herself on top of Tentania's head, and proceed to groom her feathers in a very bird-like way. She really didn't want to argue with Qwerrty again, it was tiring, the little brat's really annoying, and all the adult kyns didn't seem to like it very much.

qwerrty saw rosemary's large feather wings. he then fluffed his tail up and streached
it all the way up. also, he flapped his ankle wings untill he took off.

Tare caught Paige with a slight stumble, as he wasn't expecting it, but he straightened and shook himself a moment later, then moved back toward Minya again, offering Nicky a wave. "Don't worry," he called. "I'll take care of everything!"

As no one seemed to offer themselves as passengers, Magnus hovered towards the front of the area, high enough that his shadow and downdraft wouldn't bother anyone. Even as he left Myrrh's side, maybe even for just a second as she would likely catch up, he couldn't keep away and brushed his tailfur against her leg as he slid forward through the air.
Looking down at Aeden and Minya, he said 'quietly' (which would be an 'outdoor voice' for most dragons), "I believe most of us are ready, and willing to follow when you're willing to lead, madame."
(Whoah, hey, Cherry. Magnus is Canadian. Which means he's sorta bilingual in French. Meaning he could have French-speaking progeny to bother Rosy!)

Minya shook out her neck, lowering her head and body towards the ground for Aedan. In the process, though it appeared she was ignoring everyone, her ears were keenly interested in the squabbling going on around her.
Aedan climbed atop Minya's shoulders, partially disgusted with the behavior that some of the kyn and even riders were displaying. This was a horrible idea, as far as he was concerned. The whole thing was. It wasn't like what Maitreya had attempted long ago was really any different than what was happening now. He adjusted himself, looking out over the group now with a better view as Minya straightened up. "I hope that you'll keep up. And don't touch anything you don't have permission to." An ominous warning.
Minya fanned her wings and leapt into the air, skyrocketing towards the clouds effortlessly.

Tare leapt into the air and wind began to rush through Paige's hair while she sat just in front of his little wings. He swept upward, above Minya, to wait for Kori to follow after. Once Kori was airborne, Tare slithered down to follow Minya, keeping his eye ever-watchfully on Kori.

Kori leapt into the air after Tare, curling gracefully behind him. Nestled deep in her fluffy mane, holding onto the long fur with its tiny claws, was the little fairy dragon. It seemed to be enjoying itself.

Magnus bowed his head in assent, and followed after, keeping a respectful distance from Minya. It would not do to crowd her, what with all the dragons that would be coming with. He looked back at Myrrh, slowing down so he could wait for her to catch up. He knew that Poke might not appreciate being one of the last to go, but she'd understand.

poke took hold as magnus took off after the others, her right hand going to her back where her shethed sword was, to make sure it was still there. Good. "WWWHHOOOOOOOO!!" She called out in delight; taking off wasy always the fun part.
She wasn't worried about being last, but what aedan had said about not touching anything..she was considering the warning very carefully

Don't touch anything? Ha! With hatchlings around, you might just be telling them to eat everything dangerous in sight. But Rosemary -though not the most considerate dragon you can find- was a smart Kyn. She knew that this was probably serious, and she took Aedan's words seriously.
Rosemary fluffed her feathers up to make all the right flight feathers fall in place- just like a bird actually.
"Catch me if you can!" Rosemary told Tetania in a very carefree voice, taking off. She was lucky this time, and got into the air on her first try. No crash landings for this little Kyn as of yet.
Keeping up was anyther story. The adult Kyn were slowly but surely shrinking into small dots going high and high above the horizon. Oh jeez, this isn't going to work. Everyone else will be done with whatever Minya wanted to show them with enough time to take a nap by the time Rosemary gets there. Alright, maybe she should just ride Tetania...

in her position, she was able to see a fair bit, and since magnus was slowing up to wait for myrth she was able to see the valentime hatching struggle with keeping up with the rest of the group.
"hey magnus, can you fly over to the left just a little?" she asked him, and pointed to the small hatching to show what she meant.

Draco tilted his head with an inquiring "Hmm?" as he looked around to see what Poke was doing. When he saw her pointing, he followed it to see little Rosy, ever so precocious, and grinned. "Well sure!" He tilted his wings ever so slightly, maneuvering with a skilled flick of the wingtips to come up right underneath Rose like an aircraft carrier. That flies.

Rose saw the adult Kyn maneuver underneath her. Hey! A free ride! Tilting her wings forward slightly, she began to descend, snapping her wings open for it's full surface area at the very end to avoid crashing, Hind legs extended first, Rosemary came to a stop beside Poke.
"Merci beaucoup." Rosemary told the large Kyn she was now riding.

"De rien," replied Magnus, smiling fondly. He looked at this smart little kyn, and felt an aching for a kyn of his own. It wouldn't happen for a while, he knew. But... Draconis was expecting to be caring for quite a few eggs, soon. Not all of them had parents of their own. She'd need help... What would Myrrh say? The big-hearted Canadian Kyn made a mental note to ask her, and put it next to the note to take care of the town with the mean people.
((Yay, crap post! I'm watching Eddie Murphy twenty-five years ago, and it's awesome.))
