It was sad, they left out so much. The one that made me most confused was the prisoner of azkaban. I mean what was up with the huge clock? Alfanso shouldn't have had the students in regular clothing half the movie, and he could have atleast tried to make the landscaping similar to the movies before him. I have to say I dissagree with you about the landscaping. The lawns in the first two movies were wayyyyyy too perfect. It just didn't seem liek somethign to be found at hogwarts. I personally didn't mind the movies, although I must agree that they did leave out a lot of things.
Three things that annoyed me to no end though were:
1.) harry's eyes are GREEN not blue as so seen in the movies (or at lesat some of them)
2.) dudley's hair is blonde in the books
3.) Hary doesn't get his firebot at the end of book three, he gets it about right in the middle of the book, unlike the movie where he gets it right at the end.
But all in all I think the movies were okay...but I'd still prefer to read the books. (the books are 99.999999999999999% of the time better than the movies that follow.)
Ia ctually kind of liked The directing style for the third movie, although it didn't work for the third movie it might have worked better for another movie of some sort. *shrug*
