"I-I'm not strong enough," Kaleb said, hanging his head a little. He would never be strong enough until he figured out how to fix his fainting problem, and he couldn't even begin to find a magical intervention for that.

"Who says? I mean i think yer strong and Rufus hired ya." Wasn't that something? Rufus wasn't stupid and wouldn't have hired Kaleb unless he was strong

Kaleb shook his head, Riley and Rufus didn't know how useless he had been when Demyx grew his wings, and just the reminder made him sink farther down in his seat.

"Ya saved my life.. good enough for me." He shrugged and pulled into the garage for his place.

Kaleb tried out a weak smile, but it was certainly a failed attempt. He tried to put it out of his mind, and bring up his spirits so he could enjoy the rest of the day with his partner. It was easier than he expected, just thinking about curling up for bed with Riley's arm flopped over him made him feel better.

"And ya can eat tha rest of yer chocolate." And probably get sick because of it. Well maybe not. He did have those fruity drinks in the freezer and if he gave Kaleb one it'd be fine and he'd eat the chocolate slower.

Kaleb smiled more, the movie sounded even better with chocolate. "I-I still want to save some for later, I don't get chocolate very often."

"Really? I mean ya could buy it all the time if ya wanted." He always bought his favorite omlets in the morning when he got a craving.

Kaleb blushed and shook his head. "I-I couldn't, i-it wouldn't be healthy, and I don't really need it..." He was still in the habit of surviving off his small pay from the hospital work he did and anything he didn't need simply wasn't bought. He hardly ever looked at his bank statement anymore, since leaving most of his Turk salary untouched was causing his balance to grow at an almost frightening rate.

"I-I haven't really thought about it," he admitted, blushing and fidgeting as he trailed behind his partner. "I-I might need it in an emergency or something."

Kaleb nodded and smiled a bit. "Th-that would be an emergency. But I don't think I'd have to worry too much, I can stack books up to the roof and still not have trouble getting them down if I needed to."
