Hey, I'm an RL friend of Dr. V and THIS NAME IS QUITE SMART, and they told me I should check this place out... I'm an aspiring artist but I totally suck a**... So I'm here to check it out and hopefully improve my skills. Also, I do some photoshopping and I want to start in 3d art, blender I hear is pretty decent... And I draw some pictures... But they mostly suck.

Um..Well..Hello *nervouse smile* I currently just turned 14 a week ago (whoop, another year done..) I'm just commonly known as Saku And, well, uh-huh, want get better (You didn't see that one comming, nay?) My current style is based around a mixture of cartoon, and real life. I have a lot of various styles, as in the beginning, I started off with anime (I ended up feeling I coudln't really get used to it so changed) The things I find hard are EVERYTHING really. But most commonly hands, feet, boobs, hips, and legs..lol (full works imo) And making poses WORK! I've been drawing for about a year now, and I jsut see nothing in my works, all I see is a pile of messed up scribbles. D: So I'd really aprreciate getting myself together a bit. I also do some fractual art aswell.

hullo, i'm lexxie, and i change accounts too frequently to hold a steady membership anywhere. i think i was a member here a while back, but it's of no significance now. I'm here for help, advice, and to LEARN. Fo I get a kick out of when my counter-intuitive-practice gets a good whacking over the head by knowledgey people so my hands make niftier things. I'm studying to be a secondary visual arts teacher. The course means I get to study visual arts, PLUS get a nice big governmental discount on my fees for doing education as well. Plus, I might be vaguely employable at the end of the course. I'm not looking forward to the whiney little teenagers I must teach arty skills to against their will, but it shall be nice, and paid. Hello, i happen to be named Erik. I love being artistic, and have some amount of faith in my skills, but i want some critique other than that of my friends who will always tell me its good. i wish i could figure out how to post art on gaia, so that would be helpful. this http://hyuga34.deviantart.com/art/Modern-samurai-67814893 is an example of my works, which show that i need to work in anatomy and probably the effect of gravity on a pose o.0

Hokay..., smile I am Nightspiritwings! Nightie..night...eh whatever, anyways I loooove art :3 and I am of course a artist *otherwise...this sure doesn't look like the kitchen* I mostly a wildlife, landscape artist but I want to learn how to draw people and better myself at both anime and realism. smile for some reason no matter how I approach it I always have trouble at the human anatomy. I can draw emotes, and chibi heads and the like, but that's the extent. So I digress, i've been drawing wildlife for a while now, I think I do pretty decent, I know I am no where's near perfect *if you ever find said Perfect person...please let me know...i'd like to see it* and I strive to continue to work on getting better :3 I also am a photographer smile not anything too special but I want to better myself in that field as well, it is after all something I love very much! I am also a professional harpist and have been playing for *counts* 15yrs :3 I dont have any music on file or anything but plan to record some stuff, it's just most mics and im-professional equipment makes your instrument sound flat. I once posted the Pose Maniacs website, now in the Fagtools section.
I constantly feel like I'm going insane over my need for improvement.
Also, I want to get better.

Allo, I am Mavu-chan, though everyone can just call me Mavu. I am an 18-year-old freshman in Savannah College of Art and Design and I think I will join this guild as soon as I get some pics together that are MARVELOUS ^^ I have a gallery on dA (it's right here) where my username remains Mavu-chan. I believe that I could join this guild both to learn what I need to improve and to help critique others. (In school, I'm having the hardest time critiquing rather than creating the art, so I think a guild like this where everyone critiques each other would be great help) And I really need to know specifics on what to improve, because though I know something is wrong with the picture, it doesn't necessarily make me know what it is that's wrong. razz

I be Maisy, and I am 16. and I think I'm a pretty good artist (I'm in a college level art school outside of my high school, and I'm told I'm one of the best ones when it comes to lineart x3) I'm great with designing, photomanipulations, and digital work. and I'm mostly just here to see if I'm member material x3 of course, I only have 2 things that are remotely good and accessible right now x[  and

My name is Tama and I am appalled that Tama's basket didnt evolve into a beautiful little me. Here's my "art": (after these two I tried to steer clear from dodge and burn as much as possible) This is basically from newest to oldest. Not in exact order or anything but whatever. It's also not even close to everything I've done but it's more recent s**t with PS. I'm here b/c I can't ******** wait to improve and I know so many people here will help me do so. <********, if this is page stretch then just delete it or deal with it. I don't feel like bothering with resizing right now b/c its late and Im tired and bitchy.

i used to draw a lot of boring weeaboo stuff but i sort of stopped that and now i just sort of doodle s**t that means absolutely nothing or outlines how i feel, my situation, idk i think visually in that sense (this might not make any sense to you at all)
i mostly come here to read the discussion and see the art since i really enjoy all kinds of art, and reading the discussions here have definitely broadened my scope of what art is and sort of opened my eyes more

My name is G.M. b ut you can call me honed if ya want. I'm currently trying to get into and, preparing, for entering art college by building up a killer portfolio for it. I would very much appreciate the most honest critiques you can give on my art, I know it need a LOT of work, espeicially my realism. Here's some mandatory examples, they are quite large(1024x768 to be precise, in order of oldest to latest):     Please note that they are taken with my camera phone in intense lighting due to the fact that my scanner is sadly, bust. We've sent off for antoher power supply for it recently so it should arrive within the next few weeks.
