Freaj Roobarb Smigg-the-Miserable Roobarb And Tennant is NOT that sexy! Even I'll concede as guys go he's pretty attractive, and I'm a big manly man (honest!). He's all pointy. Though I'll admit that his (actual) accent is quite handsome. As far as season 3 on YouTube goes... I think it's actually season 2. Unless the BBC have been REALLY clumsy. Pointy? I wouldn't say pointy... tall and lanky rather, not pointy. Well I guess it depends on your taste in men.... As for it being series three, I find that highly unlikely. I just checked then, its all trailers and stuff, nothing new. exept the runaway bride....thats season three, isnt it?

I pay no attention. The nearest thing to a gossip column I read is the TV What's On... so I'm not really up on the ridiculous rumours thing, except for in this Guild.

What about having a female Doctor Who?

Yeah, that was one of the rumours flying round before Tennant came wasn't it? I wouldn't mind myself though it's probably a bit wrong, since they do have male and female Timelords I doubt they'd swap genders...

But wasn't there that silly "Curse of Fatal Death" movie? Obviously that doesn't mean anything, but it does raise the possibility. Because he does turn into a girl in that one.
If the Doctor was a girl, would he start having male companions? I'd be a bit disturbed if he did, really, because that would, a) imply he's into his companions that way, and b) show his personality changes even more than I thought when he regenerates.
Maybe Timelords just kind of are disposed towards maleness or femaleness, but sometimes they change genders. Maybe some of them are really androgynous and their gender when they regenerate is as random as flipping a coin. But I suppose we'd have heard a bit more about it if they could switch genders.
Then again, since they're pretty much asexual, why would their gender matter? I mean, the Doctor is more or less a virgin... xd And he's 1140-ish. It doesn't seem like their gender makes any difference to them.

I'd much rather keep the Doctor as a man, thanks.
Tennant in drag is not something I really want to see on a regular basis. xd

I suppose our gender influences our personality - and regenerations are reflections of the Timelords personality - so what gender they regenerated as would depend on their personality. Maybe.

I was thinking more along the lines of a spin-off. After all, aside from his other incarnations and the Master, you don't see timelords unless he's on Gallifrey.

Yeah, RTD didn't rule out the possibility of a female doctor (I read, so probably true) but that doesn't mean there is going to be one. I can't really see it happening. The Doctor is just.... suited more to a male role, really.

I would like to see Romana or an equally intelligent Timelady make an appearance or possibly even tag along for a few episodes. Of course that requires some of the Timelords/ladies to have survived in the first place...
