Yeah, work sucks. I'm supposed to get out of work at 9, but we usually end up staying til 10. Guess that's what I get for working in retail...

Gah, I am so flustered right now. When Eric goes job hunting up at the University, I'm following close behind him and job hunting too. My current job is just bringing me stress and more stress. Half the time it feels like someone is always getting on my case about something and I feel as if I can never do anything right.
UP til now, I felt guilty for even thinking about quitting the deli because there are so few people and I know that if I left, things would go downhill for the loss of a worker. I've stayed due to the kindness of my heart.
But my co-worker (whose counting down the days until she quits) told me:
"What about you? What about your life?" which has got me thinking. What about me? It is my life, is it not. If my current job is too much, I can do whatever I want. Can't I. If I wanted, which I do, I can just as easily find another job that's more suitable for me. I only went to the deli because they needed help at the beginning and that's where the store manager put me even though I asked to be a cashier.
I'm just too flustered that i don't know what to do... and I'm not at all comfortable working under someone who can't keep things straight or is too scatterbrained. That's how things are going to be within a few months.

Well, Nogrick, Nodoka_Miyazaki, and Lif Ling are all sketched and inked.
I'm going to try to get more people done soon so I can have more examples in my art thread.
I hope it works out.

Wow, it looks awesome! So well colored/shaded/illustrated/everything! ^.^
Can't wait to use it as my sig, once the organizer gets fixed enough to look like that. heart
On the shading- does the colored pencil just make that cool dotted gradient, or do you work a little filter magic on it in PS to make it look like that? Or perhaps it just scans that way? Regardless, I like it!

Garrett - They grainy look you see if from lightly coloring on the paper. Doesn' quite look like that when I pressed down on the paper with the color. And I'm glad you like it. Thing is, that was your freebie from teh auction. I'll eventually do another one of you for this guild.

Thanks for the freebie. Quite interesting.
I was going to say, it was quite odd and the placement of the piano pieces (especially chopstixs) didn't fit.
I then realized that there was more music playing in the background due to Winamp.

Yeah, unfortunately, different players render the midi instruments in different ways. Some of my songs that sound fine in my program and in quicktime end up sounding a lot different in things like Windows Media Player, from the way it handles different instruments. sweatdrop
