"Gee, you're so modest, Your Lovely Highness." He grins again, laughing cheerfully still, and sitting down in the sand, his tail trailing down between his legs and burying under the wet sand under the small waves coming up. He leans forward, watching the moon, the waves, and the ocean, his hands propped up under his chin, his elbows balanced on his knees.

Yume watched him move from her side to sit down. Leaning her head to the side she let her hair fall slighting in front of her face as she watched him. "What is it Zuko?" She said softly walking over to his side and kneeling down in the sand next to him. She sat herself just past the wave line so she won't end up too wet.

He smiles at her, shaking his head. "It's nothing, not that I know any words for, really." He shrugs. "Nothing to worry your head over, kitten." He grins, laughing softly.

Yume placed a hand on his shoulder and blinked at him softly. "Zuko, you are acting funny." Was all she could think of saying as she tried to figure him out.

He grins sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck, giving a rueful laugh. "Havn't exactly been the best at pretending, have I?" He grins ironically, still laughing softly at himself.

Yume smiled and shook her head. "No you haven't. You really aren't a very good actor when it comes to your feelings." She smiled and crossed her tail over her lap. Her eyes watched his as she tried to read him.

He grins ruefully. "Memo to self: Work on acting skills in the future." He falls silent, thinking quietly, laying his chin on his arms propped across his knees and staring at the small, gentle waves. Should I tell her? How can I, I don't even know the right words! I don't even know if she feels the same way... He fidgets nervously as he thinks through things.

"Some people don't have any acting talent." She said rubbing his shoulders slightly before sitting down in the sand next to him. She sighed and wrapped her legs around her side keeping them out of the water the waves brought up. Her eyes traveled the sea though, never stopping to miss a new form of wave.

He remains silent at this, puzzling and thinking over how he should phrase his next words. Finally he sighs, smiling sheepishly and nervously over at Yume. "Errmmm... Well, Yume, y'know how we've known each other for awhile?" He fidgets, thinking Gah, I should've said it differently... stressed

She nods slowly. They had known each other for a time but why bring that up here?
Keeping her eyes on the sea, she sighed. "Zuko, I really am not sure how long we have known one another but yes, it has been awhile."

Yume's ears twitch as he mumbles something beyond her ablity to hear. Looking over at him, she gives a confused look and leans her head to the side. "You laugh really well?" She blinks wondering why he said that. "Well, you do have a nice laugh and aren't afraid to so I guess you do."

Sirene Naiads Yume's ears twitch as he mumbles something beyond her ablity to hear. Looking over at him, she gives a confused look and leans her head to the side. "You laugh really well?" She blinks wondering why he said that. "Well, you do have a nice laugh and aren't afraid to so I guess you do." ((xD)) He grimaces, and lightly hits his palm to his forehead. "N-No, I didn't say that." He grins sheepishly, looking off to the side. "Ermm, well, I like you alot, Yume." He says this louder then he did before, chewing his lower lip nervously.

Yume blinked and stared at him still confused. "I like you too. You are a great person to talk to and fun to be around." She smiled softly seeing him biting his other lip.
