Nina quickly opened the cap and launched the large vial at the monster's back on Wes' command. She had only previously used about a fourth of the container, so it was still mostly full when it hit and shattered against the things back.

Two of the shriekers stupidly collided in the air and got tangled up. Falling they squirmed and stood again growling and spitting at the girl. They seemed angry and willing to do anything for the girls blood. If they didn't kill her others would so they feared not death or her escape.
The creeper slashed away the knives that were thrown. It even managed a quick slash at the mans legs. Suddenly it felt the vile smash on it's back. Acid burned into it's flesh and bone. Thrashing about infront of it's target the man it's claws reached out fiercly trieing to kill him.

Nina stood in shock as that monster with the melting back still tried it's best to kill Wes. She backed up into a corner watching the horrific scene and shoved her hands into her bag. She pulled out several vials before finding what she had been working on before she came into this terrible place. It was her newly developed, fast-acting sleeping powder. Just one whiff, or so she hoped, would put anybody and anything to sleep within a matter of minutes. She also pulled out her antidote just incase she got some into her system. Nina removed the cap, covering her face, and launched the container at the thrashing thing, hoping it would take effect.

Wes jumped backwards, however he was still cut. He saw the vial fly through the air and quickly jumped back once more and fired some more shots to distract the beast.

Managing to bring her sword up once more she held it aloft before her her eyes blazing with anger as she brought it down onto one of the shriekers. Glaring at the rest she almost dared them to attack her.

The creeper fell down after several seconds once the vial smashed against it's upper back. Acid melted it's back flesh off and left it's organs open and bleeding as well as burning. The vial shattering on it's back had caused glass to fall into the open area. Quickly the glass cut up it's organs, while the contents of it made the demon go into shock. It's body paniced and wriggled on the floor for a moment. Clawing up the floor and walls, just before it stopped and had died. Those last few bullets didn't even do anything but deflect off the face mask.

Wincing Naima covered one of her ears, still holding her katana outstretched with her other hand. Letting out a cry as the shrieks became unbearbale she dropped her katana, covering her other ear; attempting to block out the sound.

Wes stood in shock. They had finally killed the beast, but it was no time to stand there, "Hurry." Wes said, "We have to make it into a room and heal ourselves."

"You're right." Nina agreed, eyeing his horrible wound. She put back everything in her pack the way it had been and rushed over to Wes' side, waiting for his word.

Wes looked around. After a while he spoke, "There." He said as he pointed in the direction they were going in the first place, "There's a room." He walked over and as he made it to the door he said, "Get out your flashlight." He then opened the door and looked inside gun in hand.

Nina quickly pointed the flashlight inside the room. It was relatively empty, except for a few spider-web infested chairs that looked as if they might break just from the force of gravity. The walls held more webs. Nina brushed away a few from the doorway as she took a step or two inside the room.

Wes looked around the room just to make sure there were no insane monsters. Then he sat on the ground, "Are you hurt. If so...we have to deal with those first. I'm not so sure I'd be alive without you."

"Ummm... I don't think so." Nina answered as she looked at her arms and legs. The shock of the whole ordeal hadn't really gone away yet, and she was still numb. "Well at any rate," she started, frustrated with herself "...you need to be patched up." She sat on the ground near Wes and got out her things she would need.

"Yeah I guess my wounds are a little worse." He said as he looked at the huge gash on his arm and other minor, yet still deep, cuts scattered over his body.
