Drakyn noticed the clone coming at him, and realized he would have to defeat it, most likely with the open palm, as a sort of test. He only hoped that he could do it in his slightly weakened state. It was a good thing that he had kept his bloodline active then. The first thing was to deal with this attack. He waited until the clone committed to the attack, then attempted attempted to deflect and redirect it's attack.

Shinichi snapped back from his daydream, his hand reaching up to wipe the line of blood that had started to pour from his mouth. He couldn't believe that flying kid had already finished; He must be a genin, and an experienced one at that. Ah, it was not wise to loose focus like this. Shinichi turned back to the clone who had compassionately waited patiently until he was ready. Muttering an apology (to a clone?), he prepared himself for the next hit. The water doppelganger spun on the ground, trying an uppercut at the boy. Shinichi took a step backwards, then directed his open palm towards the clone's.

The fist smacked against his collarbone, sending Shinichi a good metre or two backwards. He hit the ground and nearly slammed his head against the always fresh grass. For once, the plant was a curse, giving no support to the falling body and causing no relief in the pain that now shot through his head. His body was taking the toll of this and that was... good? Yes, he had to be optimistic! Shinichi could have suffered brain damage, but he didn't, so there was no choice but to get up and try again. He struggled to his feet, barely in time to see the clone's next attack, a straight punch to the center of his face. Shinichi leaned his head back, trying to catch the evil fist in his own.

AIIEEE!!!! The clone had somehow gotten past his defense and the rock hard fist pummeled into his face. Instantly, blood poured down his nose and Shinichi fell on the ground, his body exausted. He could sustain one more hit at best, although the black dots were already flashing. The blood seeped into his mouth, adding salt to the wound that was his injured nose. Was it going to be okay? That didn't matter right now, but he had to learn the technique no matter what happened! He whipped out his trusted sword, using it to push himself off the dusty ground. Every joint, every muscle seemed to agonise him, but none of that matter right now. Just one more block, then another, then... The clone tilted its head, as if almost sympathising with the kid. It broke the peace by hurling a punch at Shinichi's stomach. Every limb felt like it was weighted down with entire planets, but somehow he managed to lift a hand and position it to block the fist. Just one more....

No. The clone punch collided with his soft stomach and Shinichi fell to his knees. The air was already hazing over and he struggled to keep his eyes open. No, he couldn't go down like this. That watery face still mocked him, just like... Shinichi's mind blanked and all he could see was the blurred lines of reality. With his remaining strength, he laid himself on his back and wiped the streams of blood on his face. He needed to stand up, but the ground felt so good.

Myobi once again entered the training grounds. She saw several of them same children still training. She rubbed her sore arms. She would have been back sooner, had she not been so busy at the Academy. Ah, well. It would do no good to regret it. She had not spent the time idley waiting. She had been training and training hard. She didn't want to admit it, but training in front of so many that were more skilled than she made her nervous. She was not as strong or as experienced. And it showed. She had to stop much sooner than any of them. She sighed. It would be nice if she at least had another academy student here. Then, she wouldn't feel quite so out of place.
She finally noticed the Kusakage. Tenmoki-sensei was across the field, watching -- or perhaps training? -- a young boy with a water clone. Another young girl stood beside her. Myobi slowly picked her way until she reached them. She stood just behind the Kusakage, out of sight. She would wait until sensei was less busy. She apparently had many children to train. Myobi couldn't imagine having to speak to all of those people. She was postitive that she never wanted to be Kusakage. Although...the Kusakage's personal ANBU squad...surely she wouldn't have to talk much, then...She stayed silent as she thought a bit upon her future.

Drakyn's hand pushed away the clones own punch, which would've sent it toppling into the ground if it wasn't a water clone. Upon being hit, the clone burst into regular water and returned to a pool on the ground. Tenmoki was more than surprised when the boy managed to win on the first attack. "This taijutsu was made for you, Drakyn," Tenmoki said cheerfully as she congratulated him on his win. "Have you had enough for today?" she asked, hoping that he was still eager to learn the second move to the Open Palm Style.

Aya noticed another girl approaching. She was taller than her, but only a little bit older. "Who are you?" She asked blaintly with curiousity. Aya knew almost everyone around her age, so to seem someone she had never met was odd to her.

Myobi blinked in surprise as the child talked --- to her. She stood silently for a few moments before replying, "I am Itou Myobi." She couldn't help but wonder who the child was. Since she had mostly stayed at the Itou estate her whole life -- wholly by choice -- she hadn't met many children outside of her family. She looked vaguely familiar. An impossible feeling as Myobi had very obviously never met her before.

Drakyn stood up straight and let out a sigh. It was true his body hurt in a few places. However, he was still standing and able to move, so why waste that? He smiled slightly an replied to the Kage, "I believe I can still go on. No sense in stopping now, after all, there is still pleanty of time left today."

Aya let go of her mother's kimono's and stuck out her hand. "I'm Tenmoki Aya!" she said cheerfully. "I'm going to be training in the dodging palm, today. I'm so excited! I really need to practice hard to beat the kids in my class," she started to go on, but stopped quickly. She only knew one other girl in the village, who she had just met recently. Meeting other girls her age made Aya a little over-excited.

Myobi was taken aback by the girl's outright enthusiasm. She wasn't used to children her own age. And the energy of the girl surprised her. She blinked at the girl's name. Tenmoki. That's why she looked so familiar. She was the Kusakage's daughter! Myobi glanced at the Kusakage. She had heard, of course, that the woman had a daughter. But she hadn't expected her to be so young. Or so cute. "I, too, intend to train in the Open Palm," she finally admitted.

"Neat!" she said, happy that there was another person her age learning. "Do you want any help? I know how to do the Open Palm, but I'm still training in the Dodging Palm. Wait, maybe you should learn it then and we can train with eachother to improve!" the little girl said with perk. Since her mother didn't allow her to spar with her brother, Kioshi, it was hard to practice the palm with other kids that didn't know it.

Myobi nodded cautiously. It wouldn't hurt to spar with the girl. Being the daughter of the Kusakage, she was probably much more advanced for her age than others. "I am only waiting for another water clone to practice with," she admitted. "Then I'll hopefully complete the Open Palm training."

"Mhm," Tenmoki hummed with a nod. Quickly pulling out a black shuriken from her sleeve, she threw it at the mid section of a tree. Its leaves casted shade over the surrounding bark that the shuriken was embedded in. With the leaves moving constantly in the small breeze, it would provide a challenge for this training. "The dodging palm is used in constant motion. You need to keep your eyes focused on the target and the area you are going to hit. I want you to train your eyes to keep spot on that shuriken while moving," she instructed him, pointing to where she had thrown it.
[DC: 28 Train: 3/3 You must spot successfully 3 times in a row. If you fail once, your training starts over at 0 Experience: +1 Points: +1 Spot]
As she set up the training for Drakyn, Tenmoki turned to Myobi. "I'm happy you keep coming back, love. Dedication and self-rule is a great asset to have," she told her, performing her seals and creating another water clone with the likeness of Myobi. "Continue training," she instructed her.
[Same criteria as before, Shizuka. Or did you complete it?]
Bending down to her little Aya, Tenmoki ruffled her hair. "Making friends in training as always, honey?" she asked. Knowing what her daughter wanted to train, she knew that the step Drakyn was on was far past her. "Since we dont' have the posts from the dojo, we'll give you some tougher training, today," she explained to her daughter, creating 5 water clones of Aya. "Dodge through them as practice," she instructed her daughter. Tenmoki had placed the clones in a different angle from where Drakyn was spotting the shuriken. This angle was free from the moving leaves and would be easier for Aya to spot for her level. She needed to make this training personalized for each student to better understand it.
[Same criteria as before, Lu.]
