My nick on the NaNo site is the same as here, but with no spaces. lol I'm writing mainstream fiction, half sports-coming-of-age-story involving the national amateur motocross championships, and half gay teenage romance, which I have to stop from completely taking over the story. No fantasy, no magic, no other worlds, no time-jumping... Just two guys in Colorado in 2007 with motorcycles and pickup trucks (and lots of dirt). lol

Not really sure what my novel is about and my progress is terrible but I'm confident because for the first time since 04 I've really liked my nano plot

This is my second NaNoWriMo; my first was a tragedy, with my plot imploding on day five at fourteen thousand words. That story was so full of plot loopholes and NaNoisms that it's not a big loss anyway sweatdrop But moving on, I really don't have a plot this year so I can't explain it to you. I had a plot, but on the third day I decided it wasn't going to work and mercilessly threw it out. I found a plot prompt and came up with a vague idea, but I have since basically let my characters run the show. It's been cause for some interesting plot twists that not even I foresaw xD
But anyway, I am rambling. My story this year is just a story about self-discovery with lesbian themes that's set in our world in present day. That's about it -shrug-

Call me whatever you'd like. I don't mind as long as I know I'm being called. This is my first year doing NaNoWriMo after putting it off years before because I only remembered it during the middle of November each year in which it was too late to start.
My NaNo name isn't the same as here. Please look up LiliumKiss if anyone would like to find me on the site. As for my story, it's a fantasy themed one I made up just before NaNoWriMo started and the plot is made up as I go along . Hopefully I'll finish with this year!

This is my first nanowrimo, and yes, like many others I am behind gonk
But I'm not giving up yet, haha, I'm going to get to 50,000 words by the end of this month. Thank God for Thanksgiving Break.

since before I even knew about Gaia.
I just joined the guild,
though my word count is sadly still at 0,
and it gets to about 20 when I visit my good old friend backspace.

Hi. I'm Kay. I'm also November3 on the NaNo site, in case anyone's interested.
This'll be my first NaNo, and apparently the first new introduction this year. Hah.
Well. My project is a series of short stories written by Americans who stumbled into a fantasy world and became unintentional tourists. It's supposed to be preparation for a fantasy series, just so I can get used to the difference in culture.

This is my second year doing NaNoWriMo.
The first year was a horrible failure.
But I was a freshman in college, faced with my first real college finals.
I couldn't do both NaNo and those finals.
This year, I think I'll have a better grip on things.
With any luck.
My idea for this year actually came to me in a dream last night.
It will be a fictional commentary on power, if all goes according to plan.

Hello! I'm Bane Rieko, but on the Nano site I'm writersbane. This is my first time trying to do Nanowrimo, so I hope I do well. I followed the webcasts last year, but I was unable to participate myself. This years novel is a mystery with a bit of sci-fi and cat people added in.

This will be my very first NaNoWriMo and I'm just a little more anxious than excited. I know I'll have a lot more free time since I currently don't have a job.
As far as my story, I haven't figured out exactly what I want to write about, but I'm leaning toward something...I hope!!

Hey, y'all. (:
I'm a junior in high school, and this'll be my second year doing NaNo. Last year I lost, so I hope I have better luck this time around! (Which isn't likely, considering APUSH is a BAMF of a class, and football season is still in full-swing through the end of November for us.)
Anyway; I'm doing fantasy, like I did last year (although last year I strayed quite a way from the original plot I had had in mind).
I can't decide if I'm a NaNo Rebel or not, I mean, technically I'm not, since I'm starting with a word count of zero and writing an original story, but I'm re-writing a story I've been working on for a while (not my NaNo from last year; I'm going to finish editing and refining some of the points in that before I start tackling THAT re-write). I'm not using any of the old text, though; just re-working the plot so that it's, well, better. =/
Anyway. My NaNo username is Fizzing.Whizbillee, and my LJ is ParadoxicalFoil. Feel free to add. (:

hi...
I'm HGL, here and there. Shoot, I'm actually HuskersGirlLaura pretty much everywhere, except LJ, where the full HGL was too long, so I used "huskerslaura" instead.
This is my second year attempting NaNo, (lets not mention the first try, it was horrible!), and I'm still not sure what I'm doing this year.
I'm in school to become an EMT (ambulance worker, for those who went "eh?"), and I'm starting a new job the 31st.
Not much else is interesting.... Drop me a line if you want to ask me things.
