That made Kamiss laugh harder. He finally stopped, and stood up straight. "No. We're not done. things have been slow, though. Let's fire up to 80%." The scales flew down his back and chest, wrapped his legs, and turned his feet into claws. The scales started coming up to his chin, but stopped at his neck. A tail could be seen wagging around, ahving emerged from his tailbone. He ran forward at blinding speed, battle cry on his lips. His now-reformed sword clashed with Silas' two, and he grinned wickedly, shoving forward mercilessly.

she sipped her tea with a smile, amazed at the perservberence her boys could show when they wanted to do something. She looked around the inn, amused by the dust that had accumulated in so few hours. And so, draingin the last of the drink, she set to work cleaning. Not normally her favorite activity, but a necessary one, nonetheless.

Silas started to buckle under the weight of the huge sword, both his own swords in bad blocking positions. He managed to shove back, however, and they both flew a few feet. They charged once more, blades ringing. Kamiss moved his hands in a blurry of motion, up, down across, spiral, stab, reapeat, stab, up, across, diagonal slash. By some amazing feat SIlas was not only able to block, but throw a parry or two, which were, in turn, blocked. Both men stood panting heavily, amused by how well the other had grown, and equally determined to win.

While tending the fire, Chobah leaned out the open window.
"If you two kill each other, you won't get any venison!"
She started roasting the meat, slowly, letting it cool evenly. Soon it was turning brown, and the bustled about getting plates and cups, and setting out the bread, cheese, and ale on the table.

Those words were barely heard over the clash of steel. When they were, the fighting stopped, and Kamiss and Silas looked towards Chobah. Then they shrugged, and continued blasting at each other full speed, swords swinging.

"Fine then."
With a shrug, Chobah took the meat of the fire, slice some onto a plate forherself, and wrapped the rest and threw it in the icebox.
She ate quietly, thinking about where her life had been, and where it was going. She wouldn't stay here long, she knew. More like she couldn't. She was meant for adventures. Not for cooking and cleaning.

Kamiss and Silas practically leapt through the door, running to the icebox and throwing it open. They warmed it quickly with their fiery abilities, and ran back out the door like excited children returning to play. "Thanks." Silas yelped, and Kamiss echoed that, but then stopped, turned back, and put his head around the door. "What's wrong?" Silas called Kamiss' name, but was ignored.

"...It's nothing, really. I just forgot what the real world was like, I suppose. I'm so used to... Ah, Nevermind. Go on, back outside with Silas."
She stood, a strange smile on her face. She scraped the last of her meal onto a tray, and set the plate on the counter. Then, without looking at Kamiss, she picked up the lightweight, wooden tray and stepped out the backdoor, letting it slam shut behind her.

Kamiss knew that whatever was bothering CHobah, she could either ask for help or do it herself. In more ways than one, she was just as strong as he. He quietly returned to the fight, but though his body was performing just as well as before, his mind was elsewhere.

before kamiss could ready himself silas dashed forward, and took his part in the fight. blurs of movement flew past kamiss as he jumped away from silas. kamiss could now barely be able to see the blows coming, so he had to keep his distance. and just in time, kamiss dodged through silas's onslaugt and punched silas in the face, sending silas hurtling through the air

Now Kamiss was on the offensive, dashing in a circle around Silas so fast all could be seen was a line. Silas simply stuck out his longer sword, and almost cleaved Kamiss, but he ahd been expecting that, since it was the only reasonable defense. He ducked, spun back, and spin-kicked the blade up into the air, then burst it out past sight with a psionic burst(psychic mind blast). Now both were only armed with one sword, and they once again met in the middle of the clearing, swords locked.

She scraped the cooling meat into the bushes, just beyond the treeline. Let some fox or badger find a meal; she couldn't eat anymore.
She retired to the library, stopping only to set the tray with her plate. In an old, gnarled wooden chair, she sat gazing out the wide bay window at the treetops. Now and again a bird would twirl from the leaves, and dive back again after an insectoid meal.
But could I leave, if I decided it was necessary? I know the ways, I know most of what I'd need out there. Maybe...I should prepare first, in case the need arises. With that she found herself among the books, studying the ways of the wood. Healing plants, food, things she would need to know, if...when...she left the Inn again.

they stayed locked, sword by sword, for minutes. they couldnt break free, the force of the opponent threw each of them off.

(HEY! That happened to me in Zelda, when I fought Ganondorf two hours and 30 minutes ago. it said PRESS A PRESS A rapidly so I did but little did I know I had to swing the remote to attack too. I was jumping around and pressing A for minutes.) A sweat broke on Kamiss forhead for the first time in the fight, adn he charged forward with a yell, moving even faster than before; Silas had no way to see him coming. But Silas did. The two of them were thrown into the lake by the force of the impact, blades once again locked, but this time they spiraled down, bubbles flying from the corners of their mouths.

Chobah did not even hear the splash, so immersed was she.
She had learned, in that short time, many things that would aid her.
She had also had time to rethink her rash ideas.
Where would she go, if she really did leave? this was one of the few places that were safe for her. The others were so far away, it would take weeks to travel to them. So what could she do?
She sat back at the window again, with a dejected sigh, and stared curiously at the bubbles rising in the lake.
