Six years. The place I used to live in was not very anime-friendly. (Not saying they chased us out of town or anything, lol. Just that they never knew what it was,) so the only thing I knew was Dragonball Z and Sailormoon.

When I was in tenth grade I moved to a place more familiar with it and a new friend introduced me to Fushigi Yuugi. (Her exact words were "Ohmgod, you still watch Sailormoon? Here, try this, it's better." ) Copied the first 26 episodes to a tape for me from her DVDs.

biggrin And now I can't stop reading Watase. She puts something out, I read it.

And now you guys have a pointless side-story about my life. Enjoy. xd

^ Sorry bout that ._.;;

Anyway, I'd say it was time to post again...

I think I've been going for about five years now:
- Fushigi Yuugi volumes 1-7, 9-17
- Ayashi no Ceres volumes 1-14
- Alice 19th volumes 1-7
- Imadoki volumes 1-5
- Zettai Kareshi (as Absolute Boyfriend) volume 1 [I want my second volume Soushi cover ;_; ]
- Fushigi Yuugi Genu Kaiden volumes 1-2, 4

As for anime, I have the first Fushigi Yuugi DVD with the first 7 or so episodes on it, the Seiryuu Box Set containing I think episodes 26-52, and the combined Oni/Eikoden Box Set.

*I actually just figured out recently that my box sets are bootleg. So much for authenticity and supporting the anime ._.;;

There were a couple others who posted maybe once or twice, then never came back. And I don't think I've seen Wedsday or sukunami_taka for a long time. <.< I don't remember a lot of the names of the recent people who pop in and out. Used to be I made note of all the names of those who posted, but... I've been neglecting the guild recently.

That makes two of us then. I just cleaned up the Studio Ghibli Guild a few minutes ago ^^;;

But remembering everyone's name might be going a little over the top...It's nice, but you gotta admit this place has grown huge from two years ago. As long as everything's organized, 's all good.

I don't remember everyone's name. I just generally make a note of it, and I can recognize it later, if they ever come back to post. I've forgotten most of them, as well as a lot of old regulars' names. But, really, it doesn't matter all that much, since they hardly ever come back. I miss the days when the guild was doing better. There was more to do.

More to do that was enjoyable, right? Because I'm guessing you've really got your work cut out for you nowadays since the releases of FYGK and Zekkare have attracted lots more fans, including, dare I say it, n00bs :/

I miss the old days too though. We all goofed around without much worry for messes, and Takiko and I went around post-whoring xd
Ah, the good ole days...

I don't know how you manage this whole place on your own, plus your other guilds...

Surprisingly, it's not that much work anymore. There was more to do earlier this year, and late last year. And my other guilds really aren't hard to manage. I only own one other one (I ignore the other one, since no one posts there), and the two others that I moderate (one is LHL's, one is someone else's) aren't that active. So I haven't got much to do recently. I've been haunting the marketplace and buying/selling almost nothing.

It would have been 5 years for me. It was actually funny the way I got started. My friend came up to me asking if I found a manga that was title fushigi yugi, I said no but I'll keep an eye out. They left before I did and my friend Faruhk, found a book and it was the same book that they were asking about, I asked him if him found it in the theatre room and he asked how I knew. I exploded saying that a friend of mine was looking for it and for him to give it to me. He refused at first then when I threaten to beat his a** to china. He handed it over with reckless abandon. hahaha. I ended up taking it home. I wasn't planning on reading it but it just was so temping I couldn't help it I fell in love with teh story and the artwork. Then it just went. I'm now trying to get all the manga series that are put in america so I can fully love reading them over and over.
