"OH OK thanx professor!" exclaimed the young boy as he looked out the door, and then back at the professor.........ensuring his next step would be the first of many with his new ally cyndaquil

Professor Elm looked down at the lad and nodded. "Of course." he replied with a delicate smile. He loved that sense of excitement and wonder that young trainers-to-be had with them. It made him feel wonderful to know he was helping yet another person enter the world with one less dream to chase and many more laid before them. He retrieved a Cyndaquil from his desk with that thought in his mind and returned it to the young boy quite quickly.

"This is a Cyndaquil. It's a young fire type and it should be quite easy to train for a scrappy young lad like you." he stated as he released the Pokemon and handed it's Ball to the boy. Handing him a few Potions and Pokeballs, as well as a Pokedex, he nodded to the boy and motioned him free if he so chose. "That should give you everything you need to get started on your way." he said simply enough. "Good luck on your journey."

Professor Elm walked around a corner and nodded at the young man in his lab. "My apologies for the delay, young man." he said as he removed his glasses and wiped a few smudges off one of the lenses. "You must be young Sparrow." he ventured with a smile. "Of course, I have your Chikorita right here." he said as he turned to his desk and picked up the Pokeball on it. Laying next to it were several Potions, empty Pokeballs and a PokeDex. On its other side was a small slection of Trainer Aid devices.

"Here you go, mister Spade." he said a she handed Chikorita's ball to the ball. "Your PokeDex, as well as few things to get you started are right here, and you may choose any of these items to help you on your journey. Chose carefully though, you only get one from me as they're quite expensive." he laughed.

Professor Elm looked up at the sound of Schneider hitting the floor. "Oh dear. Are you alright, son." he asked as he walked over to the boy. The young-ish professor had been about to help the boy to his feet when he did it for himself and made his request. "Um, yes. Of course." he replied after a moment, a bit surprised by the boy's recovery from his fall.

"Just a moment." the man said after a moment, wandering to the back of the lab and rummaging about for a bit. After a few minutes, he returned, an armful of items balancing precariously as he walked. As he returned to the boy's side, he handed him a Pokeball and tapped the release switch. A flash of light ensued, revealing a Cyndaquil at the boy's feet. "That would be your new partner, my friend." he told the youngster as he began to sort out the items in his hands.

A short few moments later, and he had a small pile of Pokeballs and some Potions for the young man to begin his journey with. "These should get you all set to be on your way." he said as he handed the new trainer the items, as well as a Pokédex((Of your choice in color XD)).

Once the boy had sorted out the items and was prepared to go, he was free to leave at his leisure now.

Professor Elm nodded with a kind smile, "But of course you may," he agreed easily.

"Just a moment, please," he offered, before vanishing into the back room for a short while. When he returned, he held a Pokeball in one hand, which he handed over to Raxon, "Here's your Cyndaquil," he explained, "I'm sure she'll make a good partner for you," he smiled.

In his other hand he held a Pokedex, several empty Pokeballs, as well as some Potions. These he handed over to Raxon as well.

"Here's some things to get you started on your journey," he offered kindly, "I'm exited to see how far you'll go!"
