Last year (Otakon 2006) was my first convention ever, and man, it was a blast. 8D I recently went to Anime USA, which was good, but no where near as fun as Otakon was. Though that may be accounted to the fact not all my friends wanted to stay and chat, which is the best part of conventions. D:
Anyways, Katsucon is my next convention, and then Otakon 2007, even if it kills me. (Please don't. D: ) Dressing up as ANBU, protecting my other friend, who is the osm Yondaime.

'Ello! My real name is Christina, but you all can call me Avada. 3nodding I'm 13, joined Gaia...I dunno, a couple of months ago? Hobbies: Being obsessed over anime (That ain't much of a hobby but whatever xd ), hanging out with my friends, doing as good as possible in school ( xp ), and that kind of thing. Otakon '07 won't be my first con, but it will be my first time going to a con that isn't in my state. I'm really looking forward to it, and I hope I can meet some of you there. biggrin

I adore cosplay. I've always loved dress-up, since I was a kid, and I love anime, so conventions=heaven. I'm ridiculously smart and snobish when it comes to my intelligence. Improper english makes my ears bleed. I also have perfect pitch, so off-key music makes my ears bleed, too. I am Amazing. blaugh

Ect: I've never been to Otakon before, but I've been to Nekocon & Anime Mid-Atlantic a couple of times. :3 They were fun, but I have a feeling Otakon will be more so, especially since a few online friends will be there as well and I'll finally get to meet them. Not sure if I'm going to cosplay or not yet; I guess I need to get to work on that. ;]

Otakon::
First Otakon was 2004. It took me forever to talk my mom into letting me go because my parents are against anime. crying Sad part is my mom wouldn't let me out of her sight the whole time. gonk I cosplayed as Kagome from Inu Yasha. It was the only time I ever cosplayed.
Favorite parts of Otakon:
I love to hang in the dealers room and spend my money xD Ota-cafe is a nice place to listen to people sing. haha. Some people are pretty good.
I heart taking pictures of the cosplayers. My favorite costume that I ever saw was of Howl from Howl's Moving Castle in 2005. It just simply blew me away!!!! =OO
I love to random glomp my favorite cosplayers. xD So if you cosplay and I randomly glomp you it's a compliment! heart haha.

Join Date to Gaia: Meh, I'm a newbie.....suxs. Joined Gaia March 4...so been here less than a month smile
Hobbies: I don't have many hobbies really. Almost half my day is spent on the computer, about 2/3 on Gaia, the other one my Rpgs. I love to write and draw and even paint, even though I suck at it. Watching TV is like a pastime, but I actually don't do it often. I love love love love Field Hockey, and play no other sports besides that. I lurve hanging out with friends, especially at the mall or after school when the aids are yelling at us to leave.
Ect: Can you say convention newb? Its not technically my first convention, but its my first big convention. One that I am actually cosplaying at, so I'm a bit stocked and scared at the same time. But I know I have to go or my friends will torture me into oblivion and take away my weekly supply of Yaoi. Anyway, what I'm really concerned about is the dealers room, cause you give me money and it'll be gone in less than an hour.

Otakon 2007 is going to be my first convention, I'm going with all my friends and we're staying at the Tremont Park. I feel kind of like a newb, 'cause all of my friends have gone to conventions. I hope to eventually get a table at artists ally maybe in '08, if our webcomic goes far enough. This is going to be my first time cosplaying, but I'm not nervous because I love dressing up. ^^
