Hi, my name's lauray-chan & I've been a book addict for over 10 years now. I haven't been cured of my addiction yet & I hope I never will. Right now on my reading list I have at least 20 books so it's a very bad thing for me to go to a book store or a library at the moment. I have no strength in resisting the urge to buy books so it can be a while before I read any book I buy (a very tragic fate I know).
Favorite Books: Bible, LotR, the Hobbit, Silmarillion, Roverandom, Howl's Moving Castle, Sabriel, Wheel of Time, Keys to the Kingdom, Harry Potter, The Phantom of the Opera, Emma, Pride & Prejudice, Jane Eyre, Les Miserables, Tartuffe, Cyrano de Bergerac, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead, the Chronicles of Narnia, Neverwhere, Stardust, Ender's Game, The Last Unicorn, and too many others I can't remember.

Hey, Satan here. Been a massive reader since before I can remember. I come from a family of bibliophiles and ran out of shelf space for my books about 10 years ago. Picking just one fav author and book won't be possible. Right now the authors I read most are: Neil Gaiman, Poppy Z. Brite, Terry Pratchett, William Gibson and Holly Black. Favourite books: Liquor and Exquisite Corpse by Poppy Z. Brite, Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, Hogfather by Terry Pratchett, Tithe by Holly Black, Virtual Light and Idoru by William Gibson, Tam Lin by Pamela Dean, Finder by Emma Bull and The Woodwife by Terri Windling. I mostly read fantasy/sci-fi/horror but will also give other stuff a try if I think I'll like it.

Hello there, everyone. My name's Jade, if you can't tell. So, I'm not quite sure what to say. I live in a little hippy town in Colorado, as you may have heard of it, Boulder. And I have three things in life -- reading, writing and music. Without these things, I am nothing.
My favorite books: -Frankenstein -Life of Pi -Crime and Punishment -The Color Purple -The Prince and the Pauper -Angela's Ashes -Les Miserables -The Count of Monte Cristo -Things Fall Apart -Lord of the Flies -Uncle Tom's Cabin -Pride and Prejudice -Sense and Sensibility
The list goes on for quite a ways. But, then again, that's how it is for everyone isn't it? ^^

Hi there, my name is Fajera and I am from Germany so I'm not a native English speaker... Well... my favourite authors would be Terry Pratchett, Dan Brown, Andreas Eschbach (a German author),.... My favourite books? Too many to count... but I should at least mention "Sieben Jahre in Tibet"....(don't know the english name at the moment but it's something about the lines of "Seven years in Tibet")

Hi! I've been a book adict for as long as I can remember and probably even further. Identifying my favorite book or author would be pointless as that is subject to change on a weekly if not daily basis. Though perhaps the favorite author of the moment would be Laurell K. Hamilton as I am trying desperately to get my hands on the next book in her Anita Blake series.

I'm Fionnagh, I live in Canada. (No, we do not live in igloos. Though I suppose members of a reader's guild are smart enough to know that) I have too many favorite authors to mention and too many favorite books to count. But I recently read some by Dona Jo Napoli that were good. And BEAUTY by Robin McKinley is definitely in my top 5 favorite books.

Name: Katerina Campbell Favorite book: Hmmmm.....That's a hard one.....Well, Flowers for Algernon is up there on the list. I loved Fahrenheit 451 (Admit it, that really is where the world is heading). I adore the Series of Unfourtounate Events series. But for some reason, I tend to lean towards short stories, like Even More Short and Shivery, and Ask The Bones (I'm not sure if you know those paper-backed collection of scary, short folk tales), and I love the books Weird NJ and Weird US (I love urban ledgends. It kinda seems like a psycological thing to me). I also love books containing information on mythology and mythological creatures. I guess it would be easier to answer if I knew what kind of book you ment. Favorite author: Lemony Snicket, Edgar Allen Poe (He might not have wrote many novels that I know of, but still he wrote poems and short stories), and Ray Bradbury (Though I've only read one novel and one short story from him, I liked them, so there) Favorate genre: Horror, science fiction, and mystery (to an extent) when it comes to novels. I love folk tales and fairy tales though (I even have a book containing the works of the Brothers Grimm, though old and torn), and of course myths. I tend to like short stories more than novels because my mind wanders too much, but there are those few books that I will read non-stop, either they are the first in a series (I always seem to be more mezmorized by the first book than the later ones.), or exceptionaly good. Hobbies: I enjoy reading, of course, and writing, role playing, drawing, anime, manga, mythology, urban ledgends, and to an extent philosophy and psycology (Though I hardly get a chance to study such areas, I tend to like them more because one can debate over them, and there are no rules or laws). I also love to talk and debate, as long s the debate doesn't change to mudslinging and personal insults. I've also been getting into photography. Favorate colors: Red, black, and dark purple Age: 14 DOB: 6/25/1991 Heritige: Scottish, German, and Native American, though I think there might be some French in there. Place of birth: Michigan, USA Raised in: NJ USA Favorate animals: Dogs, and wolves. Favorate foods: Sushi, Chicken Tika Masala, Thai Green Curry Chicken, and Pizza. Favorate flower: Sakura (Cherry Blossom) Likes: Anime, debating, reading.....Ok, pretty much my hobbies, and food. Dislikes: Close-mindedness, most deep fried foods, racism, and predjudice. Other: I love to try new things, and I'm pretty hyper. I can be rather sensitive to personal insults, but I can usualy respond with an insult of my own. I tend to be a bit perverted at times, but mainly around friends. Around people I don't know and people who don't know me, I usualy don't show my perverted side as much. I can be a bit odd, but friendly. But, I treat people how I feel I am being treated, like a mirror of one's emmotions and behavior, unless under the circumstance where I have to show recpect to the person, which is very well. Normaly I am kind to strangers, but there are only a few people I look up to and admire. I tend to like villians, unlike some who hate any bad or evil person that they meet. To me, the world is not black and white, but a shade of grey, and every person's soul can be devided into two parts, good and bad, that constantly fight, neither one ever prevaling. I guess you can compare it to the concept of yin and yang. My spelling is less than perfect, though I try my hardest. That about covers it. More will be revieled about me as I post.

Hi, I'm Sarah from California. I would post my favorite authors but the list is really long. I love reading, always have. 99% of the time I read fiction, but occasionally I read non-fiction. I love discussing books, especially because sometimes I miss something and then someone says something about it which changes my whole perception if what we were discussing!

Hello everyone! My name's Fuega and reading is what keeps me sane. I love to read to pass the time, especially on the bus when I'm commuting between home, work, and school. Don't ask me to pick a favorite author or book because I can love so many things equally that it is almost always impossible for me to pick favorites (whether it's books or otherwise). I can tell you that I do prefer fiction and fantasy above all other genres.

Hallo all!
I'm an all-around computer and book junkee, so I have many, many favorite books. I tend to favor either humor (The Georgia Nicolson Series) or extremely depressing books (The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants), but I have my in-betweens, namely fantasy books!
My role model author is Christopher Paolini-- brilliant writer. Love his books to death, enough to pay A LOT to meet him. D.J. Machale is another good writer, and I think he really understands how to convey emotions simply.
I could go on forever like this, but I'll stop to spare you all the boredom. ~<3

'Ello. I'm Megan but Suile will do just fine (pronounced Soo-eh-la or Soo-la if you so choose to care).
If I had to come close to naming a favorite author I'd say Christopher Moore, since I've never read such hilarity in all my life.
When it comes to favorite books, I'd say "Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal" by Christopher Moore, and "The Celestine Prophecies" by James Redfield.
For the sake of fulfilling my addiction to young adult books, I'll go with "The Witch of Blackbird Pond" by Elizabeth George Speare.
I've many other loves, but those are my currents.
That's about it.

Hello, you all may call me Tenko! My favorite authors are Langston Hughes, Maya Angelou, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Dr. Suess, though, I really love a lot of different kinds of books by different kinds of authors. My favorite genres are fantasty, sci-fi, and nonfiction. Of nonfiction, I like reference most. I was reading Franklin and Winston, but now I am reading Huckleberry Finn for school.
