Oh, Inquisitor Lord with alot of Henchmen or An all powerful, all expensive grey knight hero with termi's? I'm leaning towards Inquisitor cause of the assasins, but..... the land raiders and dreads call out to me.... so.. it all about cost and if i pick the hero it cost alot of points so unless im playing a 1000 point game or more i wont be able to use my dread and land raiders anyway, but i i go with the inquisitor i lose my best heavy weapons choices..... so its kinda gard to decide..... maybe i should go inducted guard? Opinions please!

ehrm......
lunchammer = 40k in 40 minutes the aegis = resistance to psykers the shrouding = the kinda night fighting special rules the nemisis force weapon (halberd) = S+2
just to point it out, i didnt ask about what army to play, maybe you didnt think of this, but in 400 pts, using space marines with allies is kinda hard ><, also, what do you really want in your DH that space marines dont give? not to mention that if you take DH as allies you can't take that nasty plasma cannon incinerator close combat weapon dreadnought with lots DH nastieness...
can i get a revieuw now?.
@samulin: take grey knight hero, and take the elite inquisitor, he is like 20 pts base cost, and you can keep em nice and small, dunno about the guard, they tend to only help in specific armies.

If you are using Combat patrol then you are going to do really well I think... I dont play grey Knights though... But Go break a mini...

Oh I was repsonding to the whole of the backlog, not just to you seraphine. Yeah sorry I was a little off with the rules, been a while since I've been heavy into 40k. Oh and by the way, I use normal DH Grey Knights for variety in my space marine list. Ten Grey Knights is a little pricey, but as I'm sure you know they pack a lot of punch and are really good at defensive fighting. I also like having a incinerator/psycannon or two around in case I run into eldar. I should have prefaced my post for seraphine "as your army grows" lol. Your list looks pretty solid for 40k in 40 minutes, you have a fair number of troops, good close combat and shooting, and you're partially shielded from your enemies pricey long ranged weapons. Looks pretty solid to me! Are you guys doing one of the campaigns or just one-off or what?

cool cool. I have a friend who plays Deamonhunters in 3000 points and he just keeps raving about how they get better and better as the games get larger. You should look into the forgeworld grey knights dreadnoughts (really cool in my opinion) if you can afford them smile

Like in witch hunters you can have no sisters if you have Space marines. Although if you go the other way it is okay. Ie... Space marines with the GK or SoB as the ally...

It is usually little things but it happens... Neither of the Hunter dexes say that and neither do any of the FAQs'. So I know it has to be wrong...
