Pyrotechnic Oracle guess what, actuale trained and certified nutritionist have said that a proper amount of meat is crucial for a healthy diet and life. And their names are...? I'm curious as to how you become ill to the point of being bedridden from simply not eating enough meat. I'm not even being snarky, just curious. I'm guessing severe anemia, but if you can't absorb iron from plants it would seem to me there's something very wrong with you, let alone abnormal. Problems with absorbing iron or B vitamins are the only causes that really jump to mind; has your doctor told you why you get so sick?

Truth: Humans were made to eat A LITTLE BIT of meat. (100% meat diets? You're KIDDING meh!) In truth, it was our ansectors, not true humans but our predessocors that were vegetarian. As for dairy, humans ain't cut out for digesting Moo-moo milk. Why should we be? Oh, about the iron, I take organic natural iron supplements and many vegetables, ie kale, (no, not spinach) are high in iron.

Hahaha... I can't think of anyone who'd support a 100% meat diet. o.o Adkins is a "lotsa meat diet," but not really 100%.
Personally, I'm a steak and potatoes man. 3nodding And the odd roll is nice too. It's the Irish-German blood I tell you!
I blame those genes for everything, even things that haven't happened yet, like my future alchoholism! xd

well, these days we do eat too much meat, i'll give you that, but cutting it out totaly? that's just a bad idea.
Also, the milk thing. We digest it just fine as i recall, what are you talking about? unless you can't handle lactose.

I'm lactose intolerant.
You can digest it, but then again, you can digest unnatural chemicals too. Not that I have a problem with medicine, but I'm jist sayin'!
Why is cutting meat out totally a bad idea? O_o

well, i work with a lot of nutritionalists because of my field. I can't give you all the reasons, but I can say that unless a client of ours has a special request or some other reason is involved, it's in their best interest to include meat in their diet. It's true you can live without it, but it's better and easier if you include it. Balences everything out. Anyway, i don't know all the details, but i'm a shrink, not a nutritionalist. I just go by what they tell me.

..Le Chat du Noir.. Blah, debates. It's debatable whether vegetarinism or omnivorous diets are better. rolleyes All those competing people! Its shown that balanced-vegetarians are in no way healtheir then balanced-meat eaters. It is shown how ever that they are less sucebtiple to certain heart diseases. Thats if your on a balanced diet though, and th enumbers arnt very signifacent.

there's no debate, not according to every professional i've talked to.
and just for fun:
-And the angel of the Lord came unto me, snatching me up from my place of slumber. And took me on high, and higher still until we moved to the spaces betwixt the air itself. And he brought me into a vast farmlands of our own midwest. And as we descended, cries of impending doom rose from the soil. One thousand, nay a million voices full of fear. And terror possesed me then. And I begged, "Angel of the Lord, what are these tortured screams?" And the angel said unto me, "These are the cries of the carrots, the cries of the carrots! You see, Reverend Maynard, tomorrow is harvest day and to them it is the holocaust." And I sprang from my slumber drenched in sweat like the tears of one million terrified brothers and roared, "Hear me now, I have seen the light! They have a consciousness, they have a life, they have a soul! Damn you! Let the rabbits wear glasses! Save our brothers!" Can I get an amen? Can I get a hallelujah? Thank you Jesus.-
This is necessary Life feeds on life feeds on life feeds on life

..Le Chat du Noir.. rofl Popular myth: Humans were made to be vegetarian. Truth: Humans were made to eat A LITTLE BIT of meat. Um, what exactly do you mean by "made?" If you're referring to nutritional requirements, that's not true. There's nothing humans need that can't be found in plants and eggs. And mindcandy: I don't believe in intelligent design. wink What's our appendix for?
