* Continued from Main RPG*
Destiny slipped down the stairs into the galley, to make sure everything was stowed for the voyage out. She put all the freshly scrubbed pots and pans back onto their hooks one by one- carefully, so they would not bang into each other unneccesarrily. Then, she made sure one by one, that all the cupboard doors were latched, as it would not do to have all those freshly bought supplies, spices, staples, and other assorted goods to fall out and spill onto the floor- ruining them, and possilby the floor as well..
After she stowed everything in the galley, she made sure that the fires in the stoves were well-banked, and that the roasts, carrots, and potatoes were in the ovens for supper for the crew. Finally, she bagan peeling some of the apples for pies.
As she peeled apples, she hummed old sea songs to herself, till the Doctor walked in and startled her.

Finding a corner in which he was comfortable, the doctor moved a lantern closer to him using it's light to read

Destiny looked up as the doctor came in. " Hello Doctor. I must say, you startled me a bit! Would you like a snack? I have some veggie sticks and dip, or some ale, or something else?"
Destiny walked over to the cooler, and rumaged around for a bit, and then pulled out several trays, and displayed a fine aray of snacks left over from the party. She presented the selection to the Doctor, urging him to take whatever suited his fancy.
" By the by, what is it that you are reading? Anything interesting? You know, the last book that I read was on the natural history of Audabon's. It was about the birds, and animals. It was quite interesting."

"No thank you, I'm just here to read. The Captain decided it's time we leave this place and I thought it best that I, a person with no nautical training whatsoever, should just stay out of the way. Here I shall stay until I'm called upon unless you've an objection to that." He briefly smiled at the cook, and then returned his gaze to his book.

*After opening many, many doors and still not finding the Doctor, Omi finally reached the galley. Here alone were there signs of life out of the other places she had checked, perhaps, maybe- Yes! She had found him.*
"Umm, sir? The Captain told me to ask you to get the medical deck ready? 'Cuase we're leaving and people might get hurt or something. I don't remember the exact details, sorry."
*She shuffled her feet and didn't look anybody in the eye. Talking to people she didn't know very well always made her slightly uncomfortable.*

"It's fine," Baxter said, looking up from his book and smiling briefly at Omi. "No rest for the wicked it seems," Baxter grumbled as he got up. He handed his book to Miss Destiny; "See that no harm comes to that. I'd best be going above to see what all the commotion is about. Thank you, Omi, for finding me."

Destiny searched around the kitchen, looking up her in her recipe books the dished that the Captain had requested. She searched in one, than the other, and systematically through the rest, till in the last one she found the one that she was looking for.
Scrambling around the kitchen for the next few hours, she finally put together the meal that the Captain had asked for. Now all she had to do was keep it hot till came down.

(Continued from Let's make the Lady Dance Pg 338) *Aeoess entered the galley with her cat, Eittik, in her arms. She looked around a little bit, seeing what food she could obtain for the cat, or if she can find someone who can supply said food. She eventually opened the door to the kitchen and saw a woman (ijoans) inside.* "Excuse me, do you have anything that can be fed to a stubborn cat?"

Destiny looked up as Aeoess entered her galley holding her cat.
Hello there. What a lovely cat. Of course I can find something for it to eat. Does the cat prefer meat or fish?"
Destiny reached into a bucket in the cooler and pulled out a nice piece of sea bass, then with her other hand pulled out a small piece of lamb. Turning, she displayed both hands to the cat, allowing it to make the choice.
I hope this is alright. How are things going on deck? Would you like a snack as well?"

*Aeoess puts Eittik down and he sniffs both of the plates and begins to eat the fish.
After devouring that he sniffs the lamb and gives Aeoess a weird face (The cat version of "WTF"(If you have a cat you know what I mean))*
"The deck is all clean, I just hope that John doesn't impale himself again, so I don't have to clean for a while."
*She looks to the full cat and then back to Destiny*
"Thank you very much for the food, I better get back on deck in case someone needs me again."
*She smiled as she picked up Eittik and began to walk back to the deck*

As Aeoess departed, Destiny called out..
Come back anytime. Its always nice to have someone stop in and chat. I'm almost always here..
She sighed. People so rarely came down to the galley. Maybe she just needed to get on deck more.

Destiny had quicklyu scuttled back down to the galley, puzzled by the Captain's sharp response to her. She had never given him cause to find fault with her..Shaking her head, she began to prepare a meal-roast fish in a butter sauce, with baked potatoes and sea grass salad.
While she was waiting for the fish to bake, she whipped up some light biscuits, and two pots of coffe and tea.
When the biscuits were done, she molded some butter into the shape of a ship, placed it on a plate, along with the hot buscuits, and covered them both with lids. Then, she took the hot tea and coffe, and poured them into jars, which she then screwed the lids onto, and placed everything into her running satchel, made sure that the fish wouldn't get overdone, and then headed to the wardroom.

Destiny limped into the galley, and lit a fire in the smaller stove. Holding her side, she carefully filled up a small teakettle and set it on the stove. She slowly began rumaging in the cupboards for the leftover biscuits she had made for the dinner that had never happened. Finding them in the tins, she took one out and placed it onto the table, along with two plates, mugs, and knives.
Turning back, she popped open a tin of her favorite homemade tea blend, savoring the familiar scents of cinnomon and peppermint. Spooning enough for a pot into a tea ball, she dropped it into the boiling water.
Turning to Aeoess, she asked " Would you like some biscuits and tea? Its my own personal mix. I know its a bit unusual, but its good for the mind and soul."
Turning back to the cold box, she pulled out some butter, and a small jar of strawberry preserves. Shuffling back across the galley, she sat down at the small table within the galley proper.
I really enjoy company, but not too many find thier way down here to simply sit and talk. Your cat is welcome here as well. I had pets once. A hawk. She and I used to go hunting in the meadows and woods behind our house. Often we would spend days out camping, just my hawk and I- and my horse, Windrunner. I spent a lot of time out of doors. "
She got up to check on the tea. It was just boiling, and she moved the pot off the heat, and poured the tea into the two waiting mugs. Carefully, so as not to spill any of the sweet scented tea, she carried them back to the worktable.
" So tell me a bit more about yourself. Where did you find this beautiful cat? "
Destiny picked up her mug of tea, and carefully sipped at it, and waited for Aeoess to speak.
