Jazzie smiled back at Sauda happily, glad to be invited to join them. She gave a soft "oh!" As her arm was grabbed and she was pulled towards another pretty young man, this one looked like a rabbit! She laughed happily, one arm in Kiki's the other just barely balancing her cake on her plate.
Dizzy glanced at the young man who had sat near her without cake. "Not a chocolate person?" She asked with a smile, trying to strike up a polite conversation.

Sauda continued to hum to herself, beaming happily at Soco. "Hello, sir!" He just seemed to command some sort of authority to her--he acted more like a grown-up, so she'd treat him like one. Besides, maybe if she was polite enough, he'd let her at least touch his bunny ears later...
She was finding it difficult to find a way to eat her cake without dropping it straight on the floor. Ah well, she'd live. Heck, Sauda was perfectly content with these two girls; they were fun to be around.
Tsunake had taken a few polite bites from her cake, though she really wasn't that hungry. She never ate much, and the burger had filled her up nicely. It was good though, she had to admit.

Soco had been standing out of the way, thankful for the moment's rest, when he suddently found himself surrounded by little girls. He smiled down at them. "Hello, ladies," he said, bowing slightly. "How are you enjoying yourselves this fine evening?"
Once the cake was sufficiently cut and served, Malachite took a piece of cake for his own and glanced around the room. He spotted the one person he hadn't introduced himself to, but was struck by a moment of shyness. So, he wandered over so that he was standing near Soco and the girls, contenting himself with nibbling at his cake.
Kaleb, Hana and Rayen began setting up for the pinata and the "Pin-the-Tail-on-the-Tiger" games. The dragon pinata, which had been sitting on the table, was raised in the middle of the room on a rope, with ribbons hanging below it. Attached to the end of each ribbon was a piece of candy or a plastic toy, hints of what was inside the pinata itself, which made it so that all participants could get something.
They weren't ready to start the games yet, so the three helped themselves to more food.
Than had wandered over in Lucavi's direction, picking away at chicken and chips. He eyed the juices running down the other boy's chin with a look of mild distaste. Ever wanting to be helpful, Than offered Lucavi his napkin.

Spotting the stairs Macyn smiled and walked over sitting down so he could still watch everyone but eat as well. Taking a bite of the cake he chewwed and sighed it was rather good. He liked cake once in a while but he wasn't really a person for sweets.
He sat and watched the people set up the games, and others form new friendships. He'd always been a silent watcher, some found it creepy others ignored him. He was fine either way. There were alot of people her to watch to, so thats what he did he ate his cake and watched the people.

Kilayla grinned up at Soco merrily. Parties should go on more often, she thought. "Have you met Sauda and Jazzie, Soco?" she asked shortly, inclining her head to each girl in turn. "Don't they have such pretty hair? As pretty as yours!"
~~~
Theif smiled wistfully over at the woman talking to him, "No, I love chocolate. I love cake. I have an allergy, though, and better safe than dead, right?" His wistful smile changed into an outright grin as he reached up and pulled the pink bow out of his hair.
"No, I haven't," Soco replied, smiling. "And, yes, their hair is very lovely." He turned slightly pink at the comment about his own hair, but his smile didn't falter.
Malachite chuckled, and then wandered away to sit with Macyn. He didn't say anything; he just sat and enjoyed the other's company while eating cake. Mmm, cake.
Macyn tired to hide his surprise as the other sat down beside him, eating his cake. He smiled and looked at his, it was almost gone but he wasn't sure if he could eat the rest of the sugary snack on his plate.
" Your family seem's nice." Macyn said as he watched them together. It was nice to see that it wasn't only Kitty who tended to open up her home to strays and homeless kids. " You must like it here."
Mako made his way over to the cake, waiting for the crowd of people to thin out before sliding a piece for himself onto a plate before attacking it with a fork. There was always room for good cake!
Lucavi looked only momentarily at the cake before deciding that he didn't need to stuff his face with pure sugar. Scanning the room again, he noticed a blonde boy of about his age heading towards him. 'A napkin?' he watched the boy's eyes dart to his chin - aaah. Fine, whatever, if it would get the kid off his back. Swiping the napkin out of the boy's hands, he whiped his face clean and handed it back with a smirk, wondering if he'd take it back.
Dizzy nodded. "Ah, Yeah dead's not a good thing." She grinned at him, setting her plate gently in her lap. She held out her hand. "Hi, I'm Dizzy by the way."
Jazzie bounched on her toes gently, her energy being raised even by the small bite of cake she'd eaten. "Thank you! " She replied to the compliments on Sauda and her's hair.
"I wouldn't have any other family," Malachite said with full confidence behind his words. "We're a bunch of fruits, nuts, and flakes -- a granola family. And we wouldn't want it any other way."
Than watched passively as Lucavi wiped at his face. Once done, he gave the boy a quick nod in satisfaction, but turned and walked away -- leaving the napkin hanging from Lucavi's hand.
"You're very welcome," Soco grinned. "Is there anything I can do for you, ladies? Anything at all?"
Theif smiled back, and took her hand. Dizzy was too far away for his version of a formal greeting, so he simply took her hand in both his, warmly. "You can call me Theif. So, who'd you bring?"
~~~
Kiki swung her arm, so her and and Sauda's hands were moving merrily. She smiled over at Jazzie, then up to Soco. "Weeell, Soco? I would like to know...what the dragon is for."

Luca scoffed as the blonde boy promptly turned and walked off, leaving him there looking like an idiot - how rude, to treat a guest this way! First implying that his face was disgusting enough to need cleaning and then abandoning him. Of course, Luca had been hoping the kid would go away anyways, but now his bored mind was stretching for thoughts to fill itself with. Following the blonde, he overtook him and dropped the dirty napkin onto the boy's plate of chicken and chips. "Your napkin back" he muttered before making his way across the room, to where, he didn't know.

Sauda modestly ducked her head at Kiki's words--then straightened. "Don't leave yourself out though Kiki--I've never seen hair as pretty as yours before. Or so curly..." That was a good thing. "Jessie's too--it's not as curly, but it still sort of flips."
"Pleased to meet you." She certainly seemed to open up once she was comfortable, no? "I think your hair's pretty too. I've never seen pink hair...it looks nice on you."
Kiki's question made her blink, but she was very quick to catch on. "Dragon? Ohh, I love dragons....Can you tell us?"

Macyn chuckled, that was one way to put it. But he knew were Malachite was coming from, he saw the same thing everytime he looked at the family he was in now. They were happy but everyone was alittle different from the other.
Setting his plate on his lap he took a few mintues to get used to the sugar, hoping he could finish it but knew not to push himself.

Adrian had wandered back into the dining room just in time to watch Than and Lucavi's interaction. He couldn't hide the smirk as Than just walked off without taking the napkin back. He continued watching silently from the doorway.
Mal craned his neck from the stairs to see what his guardian was staring at. He still couldn't quite see, and didn't want to abandon his guest, so he took Macyn by the hand and led him over to the doorway. Mal hid just behind Adrian, peering around his guardian's shoulder.
Than's eyes shifted, following Lucavi's retreat to the otherside of the room. He tossed the plate into a large trash bin and took a new napkin from the table. He then made his way around the room, stopping once he was infront of the other boy. He gave Lucavi a grim smile. Delicately, Than licked a corner of the napkin, then raised it to Lucavi's face, wiping off a spot the other had missed. That done, Than tucked the napkin into Lucavi's shirt collar like a bib, and once again turned and walked away.
"Aww, look, they're flirting," Malachite said with no small amount of amusement in his tone.
Adrian's smirk grew. "I know, isn't it cute?"
Soco responded to Sauda, first. "Oh, yes, Kiki, we can't forget your hair. All of you have very beautiful hair." He inclined his head to Sauda at the compliments. "Well, thank you very much, Miss Sauda. Natural pink hair isn't very common..."
He trailed off when they mentioned the dragon. "The dragon? Ohh, the dragon..." He grinned again and pointed to the dragon-shaped pinata hanging from the ceiling. "You mean that dragon over there? I think Kaleb might be able to explain what it's for. Why don't you go ask him? He's over by the music table."
