Skipping down the street rather happily, Eni had begun to hum a little tone. It was a variation of a song from her village, she had never learned the words because no one would have the heart to teach her. But she had liked the tone; it was a soft, sorrowful melody with a hint of hope. Of course, Eni would have never thought that the song was in reality a dirge. So humming the dirge, Eni looked up at the sky to see the stars. Sparkling rays of hope as usual.

Eni looked around at the sign until she saw the one that she thought meant Inn. Closing in, without really knowing whether Nago had followed her, Eni saw two familiar figures outside the door. One was obviously Blade from her figure, the other looked like Ebon. She wasn't too sure since she didn't really pay too much attention to Ebon.

Puffing her cheeks in hestiation, Eni wondered if she should go up to the two. Or maybe the girl should ignore them and just walk into the inn to look for Rina. But that'd be rude, wouldn't it? Sighing and making up her mind, Eni slowly down her pace as she approached Blade and Ebon.

Eni looked at Blade first, but only very shortly. She turned her head toward Ebon and blinked, trying to remember what she wanted to say. Opening her mouth, and addressing only to Ebon, Eni asked, "Where is Rina?" She kept her question short and concise, the last thing she needed was for Ebon to mock her again. Keeping her head only in the direction of Ebon, Eni waited impatiently for the man to answer her. The faster she could get out of Blade's sight, the better it would be for both of them.

Aiko looked towards the inn admiring the sky and it's changing colors. A faint smile crossed her face feeling good after a long time. She took her time walking back to the inn enjoying everyone around her. People always made her feel alive and full. She never even had to speck to them, they just had to be around. Aiko was the type who would ask someone who fell out of a window if they were ok, but wouldn't ask how it happens. This happened to her a few times on her way to find something to eat. She would help someone and that would be it. No one really asked her name because she never seemed to speck as much. In truth if she opened up to someone you would wish she would shut up. She chuckled to herself thinking of the group and thought of what they could be doing.

Aiko had finally made up her mind to join them. It would be nice to travel with others. In a way Aiko locked everyone out from getting to know her. She did not like parting from close friends and so she kept them at bay. As she neared the Inn she spotted Ebon walking out and Eni a little distance off before she got close. She didn't know his name but she did remembered how he dogged the ice shards from the water spawn. Rather well she must say. Giving him a small smile she walked inside saying nothing more. She even got a chance to witness Blade dumping soup on another male's head. She pressed her lips together holding in her laugh. Then realizing that the guy she poured the soup on was the one she had saw before. Perhaps Blade knew this fellow in the past. She watched Blade hurry to leave. Aiko was going to have to let her know later, after she eats, that she would love to join the group.

She looked around studying the inn; a few guys looked her way. Aiko had almost forgot that her outfit was rather reviling but she only did it so that people wouldn't mess take her as a child. It always did bother her but it never seems to work but she had grown accustom to her attire. She sighed finding herself a seat in the middle of the room, so that she could order something to eat. As she ordered from the waiter she watched the blindfolded man wondering if he could or couldn't see. He wasn't that bad to look at and she didn't mind looking at him at all. Then again there were other good-looking guys in there as well. She remembered standing next to him and feeling like an ant from the difference in their heights. The waiter took her attention again asking her if she wanted anything to drink.

She had order a rather large plate of roasted meet, baked bread, and a large salad. Finally washing it down with a tall glass of water. Aiko was taking advantage of this town while it lasted. She had never been to such a great place and would always remember it. She watched the waiter walk away and shift a little in her set. She was rather uncomfortable with her scythe on her back. Turning a little she removed her weapon setting it at her side. She looked at it for a little thinking what she was going to do with it. Maybe she would give it to the black smith in payment for the two hatchets she wanted. Sealing a sealed weapon wouldn't get her much money.

"Home sick...?" It was possible. He hadn't been home in a very long time , after all. He probably just wanted to go back just to make sure everyone was okay, and probably visit with them for a little while as well. Now that he was with Blade, and whomever else joined them, he knows he won't be able to go back home until he's done his part. The only time when Ebon will feel this is done is when each Spawn is dead along with Tidal. Conquering this feat alone would be very difficult.

"Your father sounds a lot like mine. I assume he was the Elder of the village?" Of course Ebon's was. That's partly the reason why he even got Stalior in the first place. He had a feeling he would have got it even if Idhren, his Father, had not found him first. The entire village acknowledged him and all wished for him to receive Stalior.

Eni approached the two, and asked Ebon, specifically, if he knew where Rina was. Obviously this person did not realise that Ebon left the group before they were even close to town, so how would he know? The way she asked it sounded as if she hated him for some reason. Not very polite. Better than completely ignoring both of them, he supposed. "Do you wish to know where Rina is that you even force yourself to ask a person you dislike? Such a friendship was made in that little time, eh? Interesting...""I suppose you're right again, father..." Ebon thought to himself, his back now turned to both Eni and Blade. "Oh, uh, sorry 'bout that. I don't know where Rina is..." Ebon now merely stood there, looking straight up at the stars.

Nago noticed a blush come to Eri's face. Odd... Nago had never seen a girl blush at a mear touch, but, it was probably some strange taboo or tradition the village where Eri had come from, something forbiding the touch of males to females, execpt under speacial conditions. Ohe well, he could think about it later, maybe ask about it later.

She seemed to be deterimanted to never touch the dagger again, so Nago shrugged his shoulders a little he took the dagger from her, placing it in his belt till he had a chance to find somewhere else to put it. She then called out, and skipped away.

Nago sighed, and walked after her, watching as Eri nearly plowed over a small young girl. At least, that's what she seemed like, as she walked off. Nago was several minutes behind the quickly skipping Eri, and got to the in by the time he got close to the inn, he had spotted Blade, Eri, and a man standing there together. Eri seemed to have asked a question, and Nago got within hearing range to hear that she had asked the question to the man.

The man's answer was strange at first, so he listened as the man turned around to directly answer Eri's question. "If she was willing to ask someone which she disliked for the information, you could at least honor her courage in asking by facing her, rather then turning your back." Nago said a bit sternly to the man. He didn't know his name, he didn't espically care to be blunt. Turning his head to face Blade, he looked at her and asked "Where is the injuried one?"

Eni tilted her head at what Ebon said. She understood some of it, the part about dislike. Eni didn't dislike Ebon...at least not before. But after what he said to her and the aura he gave off, Eni had decided that if that was going to be the attitude she would receieve from Ebon, then so be it. But she would keep her honor. Giving a nod to Ebon, even though his back was turn, Eni said thank you softly. Turning around just in time to hear Nago spoke, Eni frowned and lowered her eyelids. Why did she give off such a negative vibe in the group? First Blade, now Ebon? What was wrong with her that people didn't like?

Eni slowly walked behind Nago, almost as if hiding behind the tall man as Nago spoke to Blade. She wanted to stay out of sight of Blade and Ebon. Who knows what were those two thinking? Or conspiring against Eni? Clinging her arms around herself, Eni waited for Blade to answer Nago so they could go find Rina. The surroudning atmosphere was suffocating.

Boan wiped some of the soup off of his face with a finger and put the finger in his mouth. Damn, they made good soup here! He should have expected that reaction. She should have expected him to do it. Eh, people do what people do. Boan got up and asked the guy behind the counter if he had a tub of water or something that his hair could be washed in. Some men at a nearby table laughed and then quickly shut up as a small knife landed in one of their chairs. “Yeah, ********, laugh at me now,” he mumbled, walking into the kitchen, where the bartender had filled a tub with water. After two or three minutes all the soup was out of his hair and he was feeling pretty good.

Boan had some serious things to ask Blade about later, but they could wait. He found his way back to blade, this time speaking with a man he hadn’t seen before. He stayed just inside the building, close enough to hear them without being noticed. From there he just watched them talk. Something about the man bothered him, but he stored that away for later use and continued listening. Apparently the man looked homesick. Boan couldn’t really tell from where he was. A few more minutes of listening to the two and he was ready to go back inside, but a new girl approached the man Blade was talking to and asked him where a person named Rina was.

She came along with a healer, apparently. This girl was interesting, if it was a girl. The hair was long, and the voice was feminine-ish, so from where he was it seemed like a girl, but he was pretty sure the one who had been at the fight earlier. He wasn’t sure if it was a girl or a boy, but it seemed more girlish, so he went with that. She received an answer but hid behind the healer anyway. Why was she hiding? It looked like she was hiding, at least. Had Blade and the man she was speaking to hurt this girl before? That didn’t make sense, because Blade had fought for her earlier. The girl talked weird, too. She had spoken in the common language well enough, but it was easy to see that she was different.

Boan finally came out, hands in his pockets, and yawned. “Is that the girl who was attacked earlier today?” he asked, walking up to her. He made sure to keep about three feet between him and the girl at all times, so he wouldn’t scare her. It looked easy. When he spoke this time, he was talking directly to girl. “So, what’s your name?” Boan asked, smiling.

Aiko had most of her attention on her blade only looking up to see a blade in the chair of a group of males. She chuckled lightly then leaned back in her chair. She wasn't sure how long she would be able to set still and she never did like doing it. With a bored sigh she closed her eyes leaning on the back legs of her chair. She rocked slowly back and forth until she lost balance and the chair fell completely backwards. Aiko hit the ground with a loud thud but gratefully she didn't hit anything else.

Most of the people inside the laughed at her and few pointed. Aiko rubbed the side of her head with one eye closed. She forced a laugh to laugh along with the crowed. "This anit no place for a kid," A deep mellow voice came from an over sized male. Standing next to him was a tall well built male wearing a sly grin. Aiko grunt her teeth slowly standing holding onto her scythe. She was getting tired of falling today and it was the second time it happened.

She ignored the two and picked up her seat. Then slopping her body in her chair, "Dummies," she mumbled but it seems one of them heard her. "What was that kid," the tall male yelled pulling on the back of her chair holding it on it's rear legs. If he were to let it go she would fall again. Aiko jumped a little holding her scythe, she put it's blade close to his neck. "If you think I'm a kid then so be it but I must say you're a cowered to pick on one," she grin looking at the slight trace of fear in his eyes that quickly went away. His eyes remained locked on her deep green eyes.

Aiko sure didn't want to fight and was dieing of hunger. If anything she wanted her food to come on. All this guy had to do was drop her in her chair and she would surely attack him. She never took to well from being picked on so much in one day. She also didn't want to start a rampage through out a inn. Someone even shouted towards them to take it outside. The male grunted and shoved her set up right again making her belly hit the side of the table. Aiko slammed her fist down on the table with her scythe still clinched in her other hand.

Finally she sighed rolling her eyes trying to avoid anyone who would be looking her way.

Blah! Now everyone was popping up everywhere like a bunch of sunflowers. Blade reached up and rubbed her forehead with two of her fingers. First Eni, then the healer, and now Boan too. Well, she shouldn't really care. After all she would have to get used to things being like this. However it was clear that her and Eni were not going to get along anymore. Blade didn't even trust the girl anymore considering what had been thrown at her back earlier. She still had no idea what it was that Eni had been thinking when she'd done that, but she decided that it would be better not to ask. Avoiding a fight for as long as possible was the best thing to do for now. Blade drew her hand down away from her face and looked over at the healer and shrugged.

"Wish I knew." Blade answered with a small sigh as she shook her head. "She and her brother were supposed to meet met at the inn by now but something must have happened. Either they got lost, something is wrong with her leg, or they just forgot. Or maybe they're sleeping. Too many variables for my liking really." Then Blade slapped her forehead and laughed before speaking again, sticking her hand out for him to shake. "I'm rude, sorry about that. Name's Blade. The girl who we're talkin' about is named Rina."

'Maybe I should get some sort of soup for him to make my stomach more settle after I throw-up.' Blade thought to herself for a second, however a moment later she just pushed that aside. 'Nevermind. That crap never even works for me anyway. My stupid body just rejects it. Hmph.'

Blade now felt a suddenly pain come from her side. Like a cramp as if she'd been running while holding her breath at the same time. She didn't allow the pain to show in her face, instead she just drew her hand back and tapped her bottom lip. "I just remembered something. You'll have to excuse me."

With that said Blade pushed herself from the wall and then walked inside of the inn. She gave the innkeeper coins for a room and once she received her key she walked up the stairs and then to her room, which was quite a ways down the hall. She went into her room, shut the door and then set all of her things on a random spot on the floor. The light coming in through the window was blinding, despite the fact that it wasn't a lot. She went over and closed the shutters, however this didn't help much. Blade held her head in her hands as she felt a small pounding in it. She backed off from the light and hid herself from it by sitting beside her bed on the floor, fitting herself in the corner and drawing her legs up to her chest. Blade could taste blood in her mouth now, and her body felt like it was burning. A sweat broke along her skin and Blade moaned quietly in pain. Anyone else would have said that she should have taken that opportunity to ask the healer to help her, but she'd already tried more times then she could count. It didn't seem as if any magic, natural poisons, or any other type of medical means even made the slightest difference. But maybe she could have at least tried to get some kind of numbing medicine from the healer. Blade pushed her body further into the corner and then covered her eyes, shutting them tightly and then lowered her head before she sputtered up blood into her hand. She needed to lock her door, but the tiny amount of light that was sitting on the floor burned itself into her eyes. Blade now began to shake, her body racked with pain. She hated her powers- she hated them....

Eni peeked from behind the tall Nago when another man appeared. He was blindfolded, how cute! That was just what Eni did to block the sunlight, though these few days had been rather cloudy. She smiled a little but kept most of her body hidden behind Nago.

"Es name is called Eni," Eni said shyly. Well, she didn't know what was there to be shy about, but it was probably because the blindfolded man seemed to know Blade and Ebon, and she didn't want to make a fool out of herself. Who knew what Blade would say behind her back to the man? "And you?" Eni added politely. She had unawarely edged closer toward Nago in a mindless attempt to get a better look at the blindfolded man.

Not looking at Blade as the young woman spoke, Eni gasped sharply. She hadn't seen the twins? Where could they be? Oh Eni wished she didn't get so curious about the dagger than she would still be with Rina. In fact, if she hadn't taken the time to look at the dagger, the whole incident with Blade wouldn't have happened. Stupid dagger, Eni thought. She was never going to touch it again.

Eni, however, did noticed that there was something wrong with Blade. She looked ill and Eni assumed it was because of the shadows. Eni almost felt like scoffing at Blade, but that would be too cruel. Well, she bought it upon herself, she shouldn't have used the shadows so mindlessly. As soon as Blade went back into the inn, Eni stepped out from behind Nago and looked at the blindfolded man and Ebon.

What had happened between her and Blade? She seemed more comfortable after the woman had left. He’d have to learn more on that later. For now, he would try to make friends with the odd girl. “Eni is a nice name. I’m Boan,” He said, sticking his hand out for her to shake. Eni really was a nice name. It actually sounded familiar... That was stupid. He could not remember seeing her face anywhere and she looked to be about seventeen or so, which meant that he would not have been very old when she was born. No, he’d never met her before. Probably someone else named Eni. Eni sounded like a girl name, too. That was enough for Boan. Girl it is!

Blade took in a steady breath and leaned her head against the back of the bed frame. She still felt absolutely terrible. Her insides felt as if they were twisting themselves as if they were laces. Great, she'd gotten blood on the floor. She wiped her hand with a cloth and then rested the cloth against her mouth as she took in a raspy breath. Her body still wouldn't stop shaking, and her skin gleamed from all of the sweat. And according to the color of her hand her skin was paler than it had been before. Blade still couldn't understand why she had to get so ill. It just didn't seem fair. But shadows were a very powerful element to have control over, but Blade would be far happier if she could never have had the power in the first place. True it was powerful and extremely useful, but quite frankly it wasn't worth it.

In return for using her powers, Blade would get bad side-effects. She'd cough up blood and occasionally become terribly sick. Whenever she got sick, like right now, she would suffer from insomnia and the very sight of light gave her seering pain. And then there were those people told her that if she didn't want to get sick that she shouldn't use her powers.

Blade hated those people. Did they think she was stupid? She had to use her powers, it wasn't her choice. If she didn't then the shadows would come out themselves and she would have absolutely no control over them. She could remember how she'd learned this horrible lesson. Blade shuddered as she recalled how much blood had been spilled. The shadows had almost killed that innocent little boy and his father. She had been extremely lucky that she had been in such a low populated area or else someone could have died. The same happened with fire. But the fire only came out because it was forced out by the shadows. If she used the shadows but not the fire the dark power of the shadows would gain more energy than the fire. Then the shadows would try and push the fire out, which obviously could never come out to good results. It was just stupid. And Blade hated it.

But it wasn't as if she had much longer to live, anyway. Not only did her hunting spawn make her likely to die, but the shadows also promised a shorter life. No one could expect to live a long life coughing up blood and getting violently sick at least once a week. The human body simply wasn't made to stand up against so many constant problems. Maybe it was a miracle that she was even still alive. Blade didn't know, and she didn't care to know. All that she wanted to do before she died was take down as many spawns as possible. Nothing else really mattered.

Eni smiled and shook Boan's hand with a happy face. She was receiving a rather positive aura from Boan, which was why she didn't mind having contact with him. Of course, Eni still kept in the mind the village tradition but she figured a handshake was a pure symbolism, out of goodwill, not lust.

"Bouan," Eni repeated his name, a little off with her accent. She didn't seem to notice as she repeated it the same way again. "Es likes the name of Bouan!" Eni exclaimed before finally releasing the blind man's hand with a small blush. She looked back at the front entrance of the inn and asked Boan, "Is Blade your friend? She doesn't very much like Es." Titling her head and biting down on her lips, Eni waited for Boan to answer. Well, she at least wanted to know if she needed to get on Boan's good side. She hated to be discriminated against by Boan because of whatever Blade had or had yet to tell him.

Good. He didn’t want the girl to hate him just because she and Blade had something weird going on. If they were all going to group up to kill spawn they would eventually have to get along. Okay, so they wouldn’t have to, but it would help. He was also interested in where the girl had come from.

“I kinda like my name, too,” He said, laughing a little bit. Why was this girl with these people? She could obviously fight pretty well or they never would have let her come along, but she looked too… young. It kind of depressed him when he thought about all of the spawn hunters. Many of them were young, like he had been when he started. Traveling could mature some people really fast. There were always two bad guys for every one good guy. “Yes, Blade is my friend. But don’t worry about her. She’s impulsive and moody. Throwing a dagger at her, even though it was sheathed, probably didn’t help, though.” Boan laughed a little bit. “You’ll be friends soon enough.”

Blade did hold grudges more than the average person. She was just like that. It couldn’t really be helped. Right now she was probably balled up in a corner somewhere, vomiting her guts out. She’d used her powers recently and it was coming back to get her.

“She’s not really feeling good right now.”

For the next ten to fifth-teen minutes Aiko sat waiting patiently until for her food made its way towards her in the hands of the waiter. Her eyes seemed to glow at the sight of her ready to eat meal. She adjusted herself in her set rubbing her hands together. She waited until the women to put her plate on the table before she began to eat. The food seemed to melt in her mouth. Maybe because it has been a while since her had a well cooked meal? That could always count as a reason as to way it seemed to taste so good. She finished quickly and drank her water. Pushing away from the table she left some money for the waiter and paid for her food.

Aiko hooked her scythe back on her back before turning in search of Blade. She pats her slightly plugged belly walking from the inn towards where she last saw her. Her bottle green eyes looked out at the people on the street. She wasn't even sure where Blade could have gone. She only remembered her leavening. Her eyes then narrowed on to Eni with a small group. Ebon was among her along with two others, one she saw before and the other she hadn't. Taking a breath she turned towards the group and slowly made her way over. She smiled happily with a wave, "Hey Eni! Have you seen Blade? I would like to tell her I want to join the group. Heh, it'll be fun…"

She stopped specking seeing that she was talking to the tall man with the blindfold. She looked over the group again taking in how short she felt. Aiko had no clue as to who would be joining Blade as well and figured she would wait to see. Something like this would be new to her and she would soon have to learn to really talk to people. Not necessarily learn but more along the lines of breaking a habit.

Shortly asking his question, Nago notice that a man came out from the inn building. He seemed to know this girl, the one that wanted him to come help, and the one that Eni seemed to be hiding from. Yes, he knew taht she was hiding bhind him, and no, it didn't bother him. His tall frame allowed for that. Why shouldn't he? She was afraid, and he was standing off to the side, and she could hide behind him.

"Alright." Nago said, nodding his head They were probably lost, or the injury had slowed them down. He was betting on the first one. She laughed, and stuck out her hand. Nago looked at her for a moment, before he smilled, and nodded. "Nice to meet you Blade. My name is Nago." He told her.

She left, and Nago felt somethign was wrong with her exit. Not that she seemed ill, but, it was best to be saf then sorry. Gathering a little magic around him, he sent a small probe into her body's systems as she walked back into the Inn. Closing his eyes while the probe searched her body, and while Boan and Eni talked, he seemed like he just didn't belong in the convo and was being polite by sticking out of it. He read the information the probe was telling him back with a sinking heart. This girl was badly injuried, though it was hard to tell... She had something that would injure her pretty often. He couldn't tell what was the cause, but as he read the information, her body temperature soared, and one of her blood viens, a small one, had burst, with blood poping up in her throat.

"She's not feeling good right now." Boan just told Eni. "No, she's not. Excuse me, I have a patient that needs to be taken care of now." Nago said, and nodded to Eni and Boan. He took at step towards the inn, stopped as he got new information from the probe that was still attached to her. She seemed to be in intense pain right now, something was making this really bad for her. Inside of her, it was an internal problem, but Nago couldn't find the source. He stepped into the inn, letting all thoughts of anyone but blade enter his mind. If he didn't, then he would not be able to help.

His opening his eyes, Nago followed the link to the probe, magical energies like that could just pass through the walls, so he had to get close to her before he knew which room she was in. Walking up to the door, he rested his hand on the smooth wood of the door. He knocked, and said "Miss Blade? It's Nago, the healer. I'm coming in." He gave her this warning so if she was worried about moddesty, then she had warning to cover herself. Even if her door was locked, he was comin in. His hand landed on the handle, and turned, pushing the door open.
