Her tears slowed and were reduced to mere sniffles. As she quietly mulled about his words, Kagome leaned back. Resting on his chest (while taking care not to stab herself on his armor) with his arms around her, she felt completely surrounded by Sesshomaru. Overall, it wasn't a bad feeling...
The fluttering in her stomach began again. "I think..." she started. Playing with his fingers, she continued, "I think...it'd be nice if you'll stay..." Turning around, she gave him a watery smile.

(( xD!
whee Kazuya's pups turned out so adorable... *has to update el family tree with them this weekend* Hoshi and Byakuya have like, I think, 11 (12 if you count Wave Walker) grandchildren now O_o This is such a big family xD! *eyes the pup that was given back to the store and plots* ninja heart ))
It was strange waiting for the female to give her response when he would rather command a response from anyone else but Sesshomaru allowed her the time to think and stared with little interest and patience at the door. When she began to speak and played with his fingers, he listened to her intently without looking back at her. Certain she was finished, he finally looked at Kagome and stared first at her smile and then looked into her eyes, studying her carefully.
"Nice you say? Fine, I will stay then.” He said, gradually leaning towards her. He paused for a moment, growling at the memory of frustration of one of their earlier encounters and gave her a stern look. "Don't run away this time Kagome."
With that said and without further thought into the action, he closed the distance between them and kissed her.

And now that Inuyasha's officially in the playing field...
Kagome: D: Aww... monkeys... >_< ))
Her chest felt funny when Sesshomaru agreed. Kagome heard a low growl and tilted her head quizzically.
"Don't run away this time Kagome."
"Eh?"
Her eyes widened as he leaned in and kissed her. A pleasant shock ran through her body and she closed her eyes. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she kissed him back.
Maybe this was what she was waiting for the whole time.

((xD! There will definitely be some fun drama in an RP between them. I actually want to see how this all turns out ninja ))
Sesshomaru was certain that Kagome would push him away. Of course, he would more than likely fail at defending himself because he was still somewhat trying to figure the reason out for himself but when he felt her arms make their way around his neck and she returned the kiss, all thoughts of trying to explain his actions vanished and he concentrated wholly on the young miko against him and continued to kiss her, moving his hand from her waist and running his claws through her hair.
Why must she belong to that half breed…?
That thought surfaced from the haze of strange and new emotions running through him and he reluctantly broke their kiss and closed his eyes, trying to pull together the composure he had lost.
“You actually listened to me and you didn't run away though I'm sure you wouldn't have gotten far.” He opened his eyes again and centered his intent gaze on her, continuing to run his fingers through her hair and somewhat enjoying their closeness. "This has turned into a confusing situation...”

Damn, he's a good kisser...
It was the only semi-coherent thought briefly running through her mind.
Kagome made a small noise when he pulled away. Resting her head on his shoulder, she tried to regain her breath. Inhaling, she was comforted by his scent. She couldn't identify it but it definitely purely Sesshomaru.
Vaguely feeling him trying to regain his composure, she smiled. So she wasn't the only one affected...
If the absolutely electrifying sensation was anything to go by, whatever they had was worth exploring.
Licking her suddenly dry lips, Kagome commented, "It's not like you gave me the chance to... Even though... I wouldn't have taken it."
Tilting her head slightly, she met his molten gold eyes. The normally cold gaze was now churning with unspoken emotions. She wondered if he knew he had let down his shields.
The young woman gave a small laugh, "Confusing doesn't even begin to cover it..." With a pause, she asked, "When did you start calling me Kagome?"

He felt her lay her head on his shoulder and remained silent, listening to her voice and her heart beating softly. Trailing his claws down her back, he rested his his hand once more at her waist and, although he was listening to her intently, he drifted off into his own deep thoughts. Why he was so affected by her presence, he couldn't say but he had to admit, it was enjoyable for the most part. When the last part of her first statement finally clicked in a mind filled entirely with the stupid girl he was holding, Sesshomaru stared back into her lovely eyes and sighed.
"No, I gave you a chance. If you would have pushed me away, I would have let you go... but you didn't." He looked away from her and stared off across the room at nothing in particular. "For once you did something I approve of."
He turned back then after a moment and almost scoffed at her question.
"I've called you Kagome before, you weren't listening to me as usual. I'm sure you remember months ago when you ran off. It's why I stopped. Would you rather I continue to call you 'girl' or 'miko' from now on?" He said, though despite whatever she said, he probably would still continue calling her those names on occasion.

And his tongue managed to ruin the atmosphere. Well... Just a little. Doesn't his brain have some sort of filter like most people? Kagome arched an eyebrow. "'For once'? Geez, Sessho, you sure know how to make a girl feel good about herself." But inside, she was secretly happy she didn't push him away.
She poked him in the chest, nearly jamming her finger in the process. Rapping on the lacquered wood of his armor, she asked "Do you ever take this off? It's getting a little uncomfortable..."
But she flushed at the memory he recalled. "Um... I vaguely remember? Besides, do you want me to call you 'boy' or 'demon'?"

"You're sarcasm is returning. Does that mean you are alright no--Sessho?" That was definitely new. He was about to ask her about it but felt and heard her thumping her hand against his armor. He looked down to his chest and looked back up at her at her question and shrugged. Reluctantly, he let his hand fall from her waist and he gestured for her to get up.
"If you would stand for just a moment, I might oblige you and take it off; it'll be easier to hold you without metal in the way."
Sesshomaru raised a brow at her suggestions to what she should call him and her memories of that day and he shook his head.
"Only vaguely? You almost caused your death that day... and 'boy'? 'demon'? I'm called demon by too many; I'm sure you can be more creative than that Kagome."

She reluctantly slid off his lap, wrapping her arms around her protruding belly to keep his warmth around her. Kagome shivered a little, having gotten too used to his body heat.
"I did? I don't remember..." she said honestly. "I was flying and then the next thing I knew, I was in bed with you by my side..." She frowned a little, her brow creasing. She never found out what happened during her lapse of memory.
"Would "Hey you" do? Besides, a lot of people call me "miko" so you're lacking in the creative department too." she shot back, childishly sticking out her tongue at him.

Standing swiftly, Sesshomaru moved away from Kagome and began the task of removing his armor. It did not take as long as it usually did but when he was finished and had left the cumbersome armor near the door. Fixing his sash about his waist, he walked back to where they had been sitting, brushing past her and he sat down again.
"Is this better?" He asked as he held out his hand for her. "And the only way I know how to explain what happened is that you lost control over your body but I don't know why. If I had not made it to you, you would have fallen to your death." He raised a brow at her at her next suggestion for his name and he shook his head. "If you call me 'hey you', I will ignore you and if miko is common for you, what would you want me to call you?"

Taking his hand, Kagome clamored back onto his lap. She settled down, sitting sideways with her legs across his. She snuggled into his chest, wrapping his fluff around her. "Much better," she said. One could almost hear a heart sign ending the sentence.
"Ah..." she trailed off, unsure as to how to continue.
She rested her head against his shoulder and smiled. "As if you can ignore me. I'll just bother you until you pay attention." Tilting her head, Kagome continued, "Kagome. Haven't I been bothering you to call me that from the beginning?"

With Kagome settled on his lap and satisfied she was comfortable again, Sesshomaru draped his arm around her to keep her in place as he had done before. He rubbed the side of his face against her head and kissed the top of her head before resting his face against her soft hair. He took a deep breath and muttered something into her hair about wildflowers and closed his eyes and listened to her voice.
"Whatever happened, hasn't repeated itself and I guess that's good." Hearing her mention bothering him, he shook his head and growled lightly at her.
"There was a time when I could ignore you all I like," He began rubbing his face against her hair again. "But not now...and I think I've had my fair share of people bothering me so I'll just deal with your sarcasm." He paused and mulled over calling her by her first name and then shrugged, nodding that he would call her that. "I will use Kagome then but you'll be 'miko' again when you drive me crazy."

"That was also the time where you were trying to killing me and Inuyasha" she said dryly. "But I forgive you." Kagome tilted her head and kissed him on the cheek.
At his comment about driving him crazy, she pouted. "But what's the fun in that?"
An odd look crossed her face. "I'm craving for some red bean ice cream with peanut butter, chocolate sauce and pudding..." she said suddenly. "I wonder if they'll go well together..."
((The appearance of weird pregnancy cravings! I think my cousin said she wanted pickles with chocolate once o__O))

(( XD!! *falls over laughing* That is such a weird combination XD! Pickles taste funny by themselves and red bean ice cream? That sounds deliciously disgusting xD! ))
"I had my reasons for trying to kill you before as you had your reasons for wanting to purify me." Sesshomaru frowned when he heard her strange taste in food and he looked down at her, silent for a moment. Red bean ice cream? Peanut butter? Chocolate sauce? Pudding? Was it even possible for all that stuff to go together and still taste good? "Why are you so weird? You're driving me crazy already....miko."
(( *sings in a sleepy, off key voice* Let's do the time warp again~!
Sesshomaru: *smacks me*
gonk *holds up a sign that says three months later; right before Kagome goes into labor* ))
Three months passed leisurely and the demon lord passed the time teasing Kagome for the most part. He stood leaning up against the door and was watching her wobble about the room. He had come in today to check in on her. He watched her carefully every moment she was away from him and not in his arms. It had been nine months now and he did not know whether to expect their children to be late or to be early but it was obvious that it any day or any minute, it seemed like the young miko could go into labor.
"Our children need to decided when they are coming out." He said aloud, not realizing he wasn't thinking to himself. "How are you feeling?"

((I saw someone have cereal with milk, raw eggs and ketchup. She promptly spitted it back out though... XD))
As time passed, Kagome's pregnant belly grew larger and larger. From time to time, she would have to pause and rest before continuing. The litter was due any day now and Kagome was nervous. The crib was in place completed with blankets and stuffed animals. Reaching to rearrange the toys yet again, she heard his voice.
"Well, I hope it's sometime soon..." Kagome commented, "because my back hurts. It's like carrying a twenty pound bookbag around the front". Supporting her back with her hands, she continued "I'm always afraid that I might topple over."
While twitching the blankets in place, there was suddenly a wet, slippery feeling between her thighs. She frowned, if it was her bladder, she would have felt it, wouldn't she? Realization dawned and her lips parted. Turning to Sesshomaru, she stuttered, "I-I th-think my water just broke..."
Just as the words left her lips, her stomach muscles contracted. "I...I think they want out... NOW."
