She merely nodded, accepting the compliment as she went inside a large room, all of it wooden and set in an oriental style. It was tranquil, only slightly marred by the assortement of weapons on the walls and small tables, most of them swords, bows and arrows, and guns.
She was sitting down in a large char that she could easily curl her legs in, which she did. She then gesture for him to sit in front of her, "I want you to understand what you have joined Remus. This is not some mere clan that only wants to live. We have a cause that is clear and straight-forward, as are the reasons behind it."

Remus sat in the proffered chair, laying his weapons down beside him. He looked at Lina, his full attention turned to her. He waited, ready to absorb all the information she could give him.
((I need sleep now so I hope we shall continue this tomorrow.))

[[Of course ^^ And everyone, this is an important post, so if you truly want to know the reason behind the Lotus cause and the longer version of the ten vampire leader story, then please read it. Beware..it long...]]
"I am sure you know of the 'legend of the ten vampire leaders' as the stories are called now. They ruled this world with an iron grip, one species after another respected them and back then lycans were considered powerful allies to any vampire. Oh yes, we used to live in peace for a few of the leaders had lycan blood in their veins, thereby they felt they had to kept the vampires and lycans living in peace. The only species that feared them and nothing else, was the humans, for they are the weakest of every species, althought they can be very resourceful. They were treeated like servants, or food for anyone, but since they were used for work, food, and occasionally fun, they were treated enough so that they lived like relatively comfortable.
But little did anyone know that is was because of these humans that the ten leaders disappeared. They knew that the race was would be extinct if they were to stay as slaves, but every option led to war if they were set free. The fiirst two vampires convinced the others to leave this place, thinking that they should leave the world to a fate of it's own, the iron grip of ten pairs of hands relaxing until it was free. They thought that every race was stable enough to still stay peaceful, for they thought they taught them well.
But even the best teacher cannot make a child learn if they aren't truly in it for the lessons. They race split apart as if repelled from each other, leaving the confused vampire and lycans to themselves and going even farther away from the humans, nowing they were the food supply of both abandoned races. Vampires and Lycans tried to work together, but their methods were very different from each other and they ended up fighting, splitting even there own races apart into groups as they tried to understand each other and the reasons behind the leaders leaving so mysteriously. The misunderstanding slowly became hatred, hatred then slowly becoming the almost hereditary animousity that we now have."
Lina closed her eyes momentarily before continuing,
"We all know the rest of this story, signs of each new organization, vampire and even the broken clans lycans are slowly developing now. But almost eveyone have lost the belief that the leaders were even real for the thought of complete control over this planets has been tried for centuries and has horribly failed. The ones who may believe think they might have died, others have a searing hatred towards them, blaming them for their troubles as if they were laughing the cause of their disappearance wherever they are. I know for a fact that they are not dead, but hang in the thin thread between life and death, even more than myself and others. Their spirits are connected to their bodies, or more importantly, to the symbols of power they is said to be near their bodies. Once we find these bodies and place the power symbol on their body, they would awaken from there trance like death, and when they find out about what has happened to their would, things will be peaceful once again, and as for the humans...maybe now they would have a more peaceful way to let them keep their long freedom." when she was done she looked at Remus, smirking slightly. She had given him a large amount of information to digest, but she wouldn't have given it to him if he couldn't handle it.

Troden was beginning to feel very uncomfortable, "Erm...Troden. Nice to meet you Obsidian," he said, pushing her fingers away. She obliged moving away from him and looking, "I keep seeing somethign in teh distance but everytime I look, it's gone. Is that where we're going?" She asked curiously, clasping her hands behind her back and rocking back on her heels.

Remus understood very clearly everything that had been said and was taken aback yet again by here extensive knowledge. He was also glad in the fact that he had been correct. If this cause was successful, he would have the peace he desired.
Remus stood. "My life is yours to command, as is it my honor to serve this cause." He knelt on one knee. He knew it was old fashioned, but it seemed to him to be the right thing to do.

Lina smile as he watched him. He was a refreshing surprise to her, proving to the common thought lycans as savages wrong. She stood up and placed a hand on his shoulder as she said, "Enough of this. Your life can only be lead by your own soul. I only guide the ones here who believe in the same cause." then she walked towards the wall, pressing a small dagger into the wall. All of the weapons disappeared, leaving the room pretty much empty except for the weapons they had brought with them.
"I saw your skills in combat and was impressed. Maybe we could spar a little since there is nothing yet to do at the moment?"

"We are not going anywhere," Troden replied, a small grin on his face, "Unless you want to go on harmless date?" he was beginning to enjoy himself, never being one to miss a playful tone when he met one.

She laughed again, that tangible laugh, "Aren't you a fresh one." She grinned the rest of her mirth, "Can I see where you're going first?" She asked. Her hands no longer behaving but picking over his outfit gently, on finger trailing up his jaw then twirling it in his hair.

She pouted, "Aw, just a peek, promise I won't tell. I'm new here, don't have anyone to tell even if I wanted to. Pretty please." She whispered that last part, her warm hands now on his cheek. She was very close to him now, like she was going to give him a kiss, "Just a peek..."

Oh come on, you can do better than that... he grinned even more as he said, "New or not, I wouldn't say anything...even to a pretty looking girl like you. If I did, then the organization I'm a part of will kill me." he shrugged a little sadly. Only a little.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and sighed through her nose, making a little sing song noise as she did, "But you're already dead." She whispered, had she moved a fraction closer?

running into the city Rikku ran down an alleyway and jumped on the nearest roof. she crossed the city jumping from roof to roof looking for something to do

She pulled away from him abruptly, "You're no fun. Don't worry, I'll find it myself, sooner or later." She winked at him, "You're cute, I'll think about that date." She was airbourne now, she blew him a kiss and disappeared. She actually hadn't gone anywhere, she simply cloaked herself in shadow again, hiding her aura as well. She hovered a little ways above him, I'll have to follow you then if you wont show me willingly.
