You have 9000 gold, and you can only spend 2250 on a single item. A wand of cure light wounds is 750 gold. I reccomend you get one. +1 armor and shields are +1150 gold to the price of the item (1000 for the enchantment, and 150 for the masterwork), so get a +1 breastplate (1350g) and a +1 heavy steel shield (1170g) (or a heavy wooden one (1157g), whatever). Remember, a +1 piece of armor has 1 more armor bonus than normal, and 1 less armor check penalty. You can get a masterwork weapon (thats +300g to the price of the weapon), but won't be able to afford a +1 weapon (because thats another +2000g on top of the price of the weapon and the masterwork cost). I recommend you get a masterwork version of your deity's favored weapon.

Other than that, go wild on items you can buy that are less than 2250g.

Well, it seems you all logged out for the night. But once Ironiiku finishes his character, we'll be able to start the adventure. Right away, even.

Oh, Ironiiku, here's some info on the Favored Soul so you know a little more RP flavor about the class:

FAVORED SOUL
The favored soul follows the path of the cleric but is able to channel divine power with suprising ease. She is able to perform the same tasks as her fellow divine spellcasters but with virtually no study; to her, it comes naturally. Scholars wonder if favored souls have traces of outsider blood from unions, holy or unholy, centuries ago and generations removed. Others suggest that divine training of the proper type awakens the ability, or that favored souls are simply imbued with their gifts by their gods when they begin the cleric's path. In any case, favored souls cast their spells naturally, as much through force of personality as through study. Though this gives them extraordinary divine abilities no normal person could ever match, they see their gift as a call to action, and so in some ways may lag behind their more studious colleagues.

---

Great googly moogly! ...... it looks like charisma is the main stat for favored souls instead of wisdom. Now you probably gotta switch around your scores. Sorry about that. Remember that it affects the bonus spells per day, the save DC of your spells, and what the max spell level of spells you can know is.

If you need some help on what divine spells you should know, I can give some advice. Definitely get the cure spells of every level. Read magic and detect magic are also necessary for your 0th level spells. For 1st level spells, divine favor is good, and so is shield of faith. At 2nd level, bull's strength, hold person, and silence, and zone of truth are all good choices.

Well, I guess a rogue is very important in any campaign, being that they are the only ones who can sense and disarm traps with DCs above 20. Plus, they sneak attack, and that makes them dangerous! ^_^

dude ive done campaings with Velris before. we need a rouge also there the best a traps. i dont think you want a barbiren doing traps the best i could do is set them off and that hurts. thats why we always put the rouge on point in the dunganses always. then the fighter then the caster and the healer with a hell of lot healing spells and when i say alot i mean nearly all his spell should heal or aid us. Velris dosent do traps as much as ambushes. and when that happens it hurts he killed my charters by acident a least 3 times with ambushes. but he is a good story teller so things work out in the end. now if i was dming oh god trap hevan when i make dungans im upsesd with presure plate traps. and door nobs and other things of doom. but then agen i did learn from Velris what traps are nice and jusice. oh man i rambled.
in short rouge good. and need.
in the list of people should be protected at all coast are
rouges, clearics
then the wizard until 10th level
and the fighter types are ment to die if need be
