Akira decided to go venture out and greet his neighbors. Not feeling like changing, he just refilled his cup of coffee, took a sip, and walked out of his condo sipping it on the way. He opened the door and looked around. What he was surprised him and he let out a small squeak in surprise not expecting to see that at all.
A man was sleeping against the door. Key still in hand and everything. He chuckled slightly at this and walked over to the man still keeping his distance.
"Hey, hey, wake up. I don't think it'd be a good idea for you to sleep there." Akira said with a friendly smile.

Hatori's eyes fluttered open and he looked over to see another man. He blinked slightly. "Oh...Thank you...." He spoke quietly. "My name's Hatori." He smiled weakly and held out his hand. He stood up, still extending his hand, and found his legs were wobbly...a sign of exhaustion, he quickly noted, diagnosing himself.

The male smiled and shook the other male's hand moving a little to help him stand better. "You really should get to bed. You look like you just collapse again any second." Akira said. "Here, I'll help you." he said downing the rest of his coffee. He shook his head a little clearing it from the huge rush of caffine.
That wouldn't be too good later on.
"Watashi..." Akira trailed off thinking it'd be better to speak in English, then, he wouldn't have to worry about sounding like the characters he voiced over for too. "My name is Akira." he said with another kind smile.
Opening the door, he helped Hatori inside. He turned on the light and helped the other to his couch. "There, I think that'll be much better ne? Then you don't have to worry about fangirls." He laughed and rested his arms on the back of the couch.

Hatori was confused at the kindness shown by this man, but he sat down on the couch gratefully. "Fangirls?" He asked weakly, running his fingers through his medium-length black hair. Hatori's stomach growled angrilly, as if protesting to whatever his current life-style entailed. He stood up weakly, then decided it wasn't worth it, and plopped back down onto the couch, closing his eyes. At this moment, he really didn't care that there was some stranger in his house. He was just too damn tired.

"Yes, the females that seem to stalk me and a few other neighbors. It's a bit creepy." Akira laughed nervously and stood up straight. He noticed the grumble of the man's stomach. "You seem hungry, but super tired. Are you sick? Or just over worked? I'm guessing it's the latter. I get like that sometime. You want me to make you something to eat or whatever? Or, do you want me to just leave you alone and sleep? I don't want to be rude or anything." There went Akira with his over active mouth. The caffine he just downed didn't really help either.

Hatori opened his eyes weakly. "Mm...I haven't eaten anything decent in three days..." He whispered softly. "One of my clients had me waiting on him hand and foo--" A pager on his belt began to go off. He sat up weakly and looked at it, then sighed. He stood up and grabbed his keys and tried to make it to the door, his eyes half-way open.

Akira watched the other get up and start to leave. "Whoa! You look like you could pretty much die from exhaustion. Maybe you should take the day off. Even I did. This is the first sick day I ever had in the whole 4 years I've been working as a translator. But anyways, your clients can be taken care of someone else right?" Akira asked as he walked over to Hatori standing by him and ready to catch him if he was about to fall.
He seems pretty normal, a bit of a work-a-holic, but so am I Akira thought to himself.
"Client? Hm, are you a doctor? If you are, you should know your own limits very well then." Akira said nodding.

Hatori looked over at him and the motion caused his head to swim. He blanched and his body began to fall...he felt weightless, almost as if he was floating in water. Darkness began to envelope him and all he knew was the cool breath of unconsciousness.

"Ch-chotto! Aiya!" Akira yelped as he quickly dashed to catch the other. Unfortunately, he wasn't as strong as he thought he was, and ended up falling to the floor. Laying there with the other ontop of him, he blinked and blushed slightly. "Anou, awkward." he mumbled then managed to get up, and carried the other over to his room. Laying Hatori down on the bed, he looked around nervously.
"Dame desu." he said looking around and nervously biting his thumb. Pulling out a lollipop, he stuck that in his mouth instead and began sucking on it. He paced around trying to think of what to do.
"Eh..." Akira frowned then just tucked the other in. Walking out of the room, he decided to make the other some food. He had heard his stomach growl so he thought it'd be good if he did that. Running a hand through his hair, he opened the fridge and saw a microwave dinner inside.
"Looks good still..." he said looking for the expiration date. Seeing and saw how it was still pretty good, he prepared the meal and threw it in the microwave waiting for it to finish. Soon, it was done, and he left it there in the microwave.
Getting up, he decided to scribble the other a note for when he woke up. He left it there on the counter reading:
Hey, you passed out earlier before you left. I managed to bring you to your room and let you rest. I hope that wasn't too creepy or anything. And I could tell you were hungry earlier, so I prepared a microwave dinner for you. It's still in there to keep it warm. Uhm, yeah, if you want to talk more or something. I'll be next door. It's open so just walk on in. I hope you don't cigarette smoke.
-Love Mom Just kidding, but that's what it felt almost. Haha. Right, well:
-Sincerely, Akira.
Akira scribbled his short little signature and walked out the door heading towards his condo to smoke.

Hatori woke up after a while and sat up. He walked to his kitchen completely forgetting about his pager, and read the note. He looked up at the microwave, saw the food, and, in a few short minutes, was full. Hatori then sighed, figuring he should thank the man from earlier, and left his room. It was easy to tell which one was Akira's, what with the open door and the cigarette smoke. He walked in, brushing his medium-length hair out of his blue eyes. "Hello? You know, smoking causes lung cancer..." He said, his voice quiet but stern.

Akira's laughter could be heard from his room, where most of the smoke was coming from. Soon, the orange haired man came walking out. Cigarette between his fingers. "Yeah, I've been trying to kick the habit ever since I started when I was 16. Oh well." He shrugged and put the cigarette out and leaned against the wall.
"Working yourself to death isn't good for your health either you know." Akira smiled.

Hatori walked over to him and bowed low in a traditional japanese sign of respect and thanks. "I thank you for taking care of me while I--" Hatori's eyes widened. "O NO!!" He rushed out of the room, practically tripping over himself in his haste. He ran into his room and grabbed his pager: 17 missed. Hatori fell to his knees. "s**t!" He yelled and grabbed the nearest phone, dialing frantically. He was white as a ghost.

Akira was just about to say you're welcome, but the other burst out of his condo in a frenzy. Blinking, Akira slowly followed. "Anou, Hatori-kun? Daijoubu?" He asked in a worried manner. It was rather obvious that Hatori didn't seem okay, mentally and physically. This man definately seemed very stressed. "May I ask what's wrong?" Akira asked not like the awkward silence growing between them.

"Daijobu, Akira-san..." He said, hoping that the client would pick up. When there was silence, however, he slowly hung up the phone. He bowed his head, closing his eyes. "Figures..." His pager suddenly beeped again. He looked down at it and was relieved to see that it was someone else. He picked up the phone and dialed. "Yes? Hichikawa-san? You...You need me at the hospital..? Now...? Well...no, there's no problem...I'm just not feeling so well...."

Akira walked over and crouched down next to Hatori. He slightly smelled of cigarette smoke but that was normal. "Anou, may I see the phone?" he asked and took the phone from the other before Hatori could answer. "I wont get you fired don't worry. Hell, I'll probably will save a few years off your life. Take it from another work-a-holic." Akira chuckled.
Removing his hand from the reciever, he cleared his throat and coughed a few times. However when he spoke again, he didn't sound like he normally did. But instead, very much like a girl. A woman really. Around his age and sounded rather proper and mature.
"Hello? This is Hatori's sister. He's feeling really ill today so he can't go to work. His voice is starting to go out, so he called me earlier to take care of him. Yes, I understand. He'll get better as soon as possible. Ok. Bye. " Akira hung up the phone and smiled at Hatori.
Clearing his throat his voice returned back to normal. Although, he sounded a little bit like Daisuke, from the cartoon he voice acted for, again. "Sorry about that. But you seemed like you really needed a break. I'm sure you're going to get mad at me now so yes. Uhm, well, just enjoy your day off and rest. You really seem like you need it." Akira laughed extremely nervously.
