The black-haired kunoichi made slight, almost inaudible, sounds as she began to regain consciousness. How long had she been out? She didn't know. She tried to recall what had happened and the fight came back to her.
She remembered fighting someone from one of the villages. The chains that had trapped her and pulled her in front of the shinobi. And then the darts. After that, she couldn't remember anything else. Everything had suddenly gone black.
She heard a familiar voice and slowly opened her eyes. She turned her head to her right and looked at the person that had spoken. Wasn't that the boy that had fought also? She couldn't remember his name. Did she know his name? It didn't matter.

As he was turning, he heard the sounds, and the movement, of the girl. He turned around, smiling. "So, you are awake now. Have a good sleep?" His smile widened a tad. He rarely ever used humor, and even this slight amount made him giddy. He wasn't too good at it. "You've been out for a day or so. The traitor was caught, in case you were wondering." He didn't expect a response, so he just went to the information. Sad that they couldn't communicate... "I was lucky enough to merely have my leg ripped open, you were hit with darts the the Onsei fired at the traitor, in case you forgot. I'll leave you to rest now. I was merely checking to see you were all right."

She looked at his leg and then up at his face and nodded. "So the mission was a success?" She said. One of the rare times that she would speak. She found that this was an important time since it was about a mission. The darts were sedative darts then. She thought to herself as she turned her head so she was facing the cieling once again.
Her eyes seemed to stay on the cieling so that she wasn't looking at something that would make her head spin. There had been more than one dart shot. At least one of them hit the traitor. Rest. That was something that she was sure that she had had enough of.

"As far as I know, yes. But we weren't exactly told the details on our mission, were we? Yes, the traitor was caught. Haven't been told anything about the mission yet though." Shiryoku almost let surprise across his face. This was the first time he ever had heard her talk. She wasn't known for it. He had begun to suspect she couldn't. "As far as I can tell, we were at best a distraction so the Onsei could capture him." He hesitated before leaving this time. Now he wasn't sure whether she'd reply or not.

"I could careless if I was a distraction or not." She said with a somewhat sharp tone. She truely didn't care if she was a distraction or not. The only thing she cared about was helping to defend the village and the Otokage. If she was needed as a distraction, then she would gladly be a distraction. ((So sad. I feel pity that my posts are so short.))

"You misunderstand.." He replied. Her tone had changed. He hated anger... "I meant to say that we were not very... Useful. The Onsei probably could have done the whole thing without us. Maybe even better... If it would help the village or the lord, I would sacrifice my life. But... I do not believe us to have been very helpful is all..." His smile faded. He hated it when people were angry at him. He began to feel saddness creep up. "I'll just go now. I'm sorry if I upset you."

"We were useful." She said while she kept staring at the cieling. She would occasionally glance at him, but it wasn't very often. Her sentences were getting shorter. "Do you really think that I misunderstood? You are wrong there."

"..." Shiryoku remained silent for a second. He hated confrontation. He always ceded before the end anyways. Unless it was on a mission. "You seem to think so. And you might have. But I didn't get one good hit on him, nothing that matters. I was only able to get him angry enough to kill one of the Onsei." He replied quietly.

She turned her head to look at him again and glared this time. "I didn't get a hit on him either." She closed her eyes for a moment and took deep, almost unnoticable, breaths to calm herself. She slowly sat up and rotated her neck around. When she heard it pop, she stopped and opened her eyes again.

"...And yet you maintain we were useful..." he replied quietly. He was loathing this conversation. He usually liked to keep talk light, unless it was needed. He turned back towards the girl. It was customery to look at who you talk to, though it didn't affect him.

"You don't have to hit someone to be useful." It actually came out more like a sneer this time. Was she the only one who realized what useful meant? The traitor was caught because they could distract him so the Onsei could take him down.

He wasn't ready to fight for this. Maybe he should just give up. He'd try once more. "But were we even useful as a distraction? An Onsei died trying to save us... They could have snuck up on the traitor, if I hadn't ran in head first..." he whispered. He didn't really want to argue this. His head began to ache.

"That was your own mistake." She said before she looked away. She just stared blankly at the stone walls. Where was she anyway? It didn't look familiar. She obviously wasn't going to say anything else. He seems to be the one not understanding. She thought to herself as she closed her eyes.

"I'm sorry if I upset you... I do not wish to. I fail to see how we were useful. Maybe you, but not I." He replied quietly. "I do not wish to argue this... I think I will leave. I am sorry for upsetting you, I truly am." His voice was emenating sadness now. He hated arguments for this reason. He could never stand upsetting someone. H turned to leave again. Why did he even bother?

Diniece (Orochimaru)There was a small, abrupt rustle in the sleeve dressing his outstretched arm. An inflammation swelled beneath the material, long and slender, a kin to a oversized vein or--- The serpent, as quick as a gunshot, spiraled out from the Otokage's sleeve. It's stone-colored skull split to bare twin fangs. Its teeth made its mark before the Ryouken was able to recoil. From the snake's lips leaked a glossy liquid, mixed with a syrupy red. ((Sorry about the auto-hit, but we already talked about this.)) (Yasuo)
As the snake buried its fangs into his wrist, he drew his hand away from the envelope. He eyed his wrist; blood intermingled with an unnamed substance oozed from two puncture holes on his wrist just below the vein.
Just as he lifted his gaze to the summoner, his vision blurred, overpowering his sight with a haze of distorted images. He brought a hand up against his brow, as if trying to guard from an invisible sun. A trap, I should have known. Katsuhiro stepped backward and found himself backed up against a table. Again he attempted to focus his vision yet it seemed to worsen, fading to nearly black. His concentration dissipated, breaking away to a thoughtless state. He felt his hand reach up for the table as he collapsed against the floor, his cheek pressed against the polished wood.
