"Meep?!" There was a huge splash, and Sunstrike sputtered in the water, looking at her wide eyed when he came up for air.
"Not fair!" He pouted, water streaming down from his suddenly flat hair, staring at her while she finished talking.
"And who's gonna be there to guard me against you, eh?!" He moaned and shook his fist playfully at her.

She grinned and drew her fan from her obi, flitting it to and fro before her face. Her bangs clung to her forehead, damp with steam as she shrugged.
"I guess you just have to trust me~"
A playful bap, as her fan clicked shut a moment and she tapped his nose with it and then went back to fanning herself.
"Anything in particular you'd like to drink while I'm in the cafeteria?"

He rubbed his nose where she tapped it and grinned at her. "I trust you, don't ask me why, but I do. Don't worry bout a drink, the fruit will be enough for today."
Sun reached out a hand. "Can I get a goodbye kiss, though? Some compensation for being pushed, maybe?" There was a wicked gleam in his eyes as he said this, as if he knew exactly what she'd think of that.

She blinked at him as he extended his hand to her and then the fan came down across his knuckles like a scolded child as her brow twitched in flustered vexation.
"Absolutely not!"
She got up and headed for the door, ignoring the fact that her figure was a little more visible through the thin press of the now semi-soaked kimono. She tossed a parting over her shoulder as she exited.
"Just don't drown on me!"

"O-OW!" Sunstrike was sucking his knuckles, watching avidly as she left. Okay, maybe he hadn't quite realized how she'd act, but that was okay, she'd do well in a wet t-shirt contest.
"Just don't pick anything to wear that's too TIGHT!" He shouted desperately after her, hoping she wouldn't give him anything that looked as damn intricate as that little kimono she wore. How the hell did she fit in all that, anyway?
When she'd left, he studied the row of bottles almost warily, unsure of himself with all this pampering. Reaching out, he unscrewed the cap on the first and gave it a cautious sniff, toes wriggling in the water.
Well...it was definately soap...and it wasn't flowery...more like spice...it would do for now. He was already humming, washing the blood and muck off happily. Maybe he'd spoil himself, drain the tub, and have a cleaner bath in a second.

It was a good 15 minute walk to the cafeteria from the Palace, unless one used powers. However, Aiysin wasn't a being who was blessed with inhuman speed or anything like that. The abilities she hosted were, in her mind, humble. So she heel'n'toed it like any normal mortal would.
Once she reached the building she grabbed a tray and set about selecting a tray full of the sweetest, ripest and freshest fruits. She piled oranges as well as clementines, apples, grapes, strawberries, peaches, plums, cantelope, honey dew melon, water melon, cherries and kiwis. Adding a dish of whipped-yogurt dip and some cheese she was about to return with the tray, but as she exited the building, she was nearly bowled over by a red-faced page belonging to 1st squad.
"Lady Aiysin!"
"Mmmm You have eyes right?... How about we be a -little- more pro-functional and keep them open for a change ne?"
It wasn't insulting... not really. It was said in a teasing, friendly tone at least, so the bite was removed from the chastising words.
The page scratched the back of his head and nodded before bowing quickly.
"They said you were back, one of our gates is unstable... we lost the connection from the other side and we can't seem to reestablish. Something is interfering and closing the gate's feed... please, we need your help m'lady!"
Aiysin looked suddenly serious.
"How many are through?"
"Two thirds m--"
"LADY BRIGHT!"
She shoved the tray into the sage's hands and pulled a pen and a notebook from her sash. Scribbling hurridly and then placing it on the tray with the fruit.
"Take this to 3rd floor, suite 5 of the palace and deliver it to Sunstrike!"
"Yess'm"
The page blinked after her for only a moment as Aiysin raced off at a flat out run towards the first squads gating grounds.

"Never in the wrong time or wrong place~"
Sunstrike was singing, unknowing of all the troubles that were happening down below. He'd managed to empty the first tub of all the nastiness, and was taking stock on the injuries.
"Desecration is the smile on my face..." The song reduced itself to hums as he studied the bands on his leg. He'd not gotten a chance to earlier.
~~~Two days ago
"So..." Sun looked at Morose and the odd contraptions on the table beside him. "What are these supposed to do again? They aren't going to be rejected by my body, are they?"
"I'd worry less about them being rejected by your body, and more by your magic. They're spelled so your skin and muscle will grow around it."
Sun made an irritated sound, his leg and ankle were throbbing, there might have been some infection leaking through the guards by now.
"What have you done to it that might disagree?"
Those light green eyes smiled at Sun as thumbs pressed into the worst of the injuries, Sun's ankle. The other man yelped, causing the metal table to clang when his palms slamed down and tightened on the edge.
"They will change if you do." Through the exploding darkness that had become his vision Sunstrike blinked in surprise.
"Anything else?" A soft sigh.
"I need to keep a few surprises under my hat Sunstrike. Now...do you want the bands and the leg? Or do you want to lose the leg. There will be a great deal of discomfort at first, but you're quick..." There was a pause, and Sun decided Morose was enjoying himself far too much. "You'll compensate."
Sun just closed his eyes. I'll be useless, but I'd be worse then useless without the leg.
"Fine, get it done."
~~~~
Sunstrike shivered, water beginning to dry against his pale skin. To say it had been painful might have an understatement. He'd screamed, a great deal. If Vahn had known...but Sun shook his head. Vahn didn't have to know, he had far more problems at the moment without having to worry about Sun's as well. The only concern was that Sunstrike's just seemed to keep growing.
He turned off the tap again and scooted his legs around and in. The water was practically boiling and Sun smiled lazily. There were bubbles. Life was good.
"The love I've made is the shape of my space..."

Shin exited the dojo with a stretch and a cracking of his knuckles. He felt useless. Positively effin' useless. It had been nearly two months since Sierra's dissapearance and he was stuck sitting here. Doing what? Doing NOTHING. Central Intelligence had made it quite clear that he was to stay out of their way for the time being and that his emotional point of view was NOT appreciated in their investigation.
Despite doing his usual work out thrice through, his body still felt tight and tense. The anger he was carrying with him a violent force threatening to spill over at any second.
So when the young paige bumped into him on his way down the path, he growled, his fists clenched, still wrapped and ready to use from his training.
"Watch it brat!"
The paige winced. He'd never seen Shin so angry... and the man's temper had only been getting worse as the weeks passed. The paige, who was too low of a rank to know what was going on... figured that Shin had been snubbed by Sierra again, that usually put the elven man's nose out of joint. generally though, he was more mopey than pissed off. Odd...
"S-S-sorry Sir! I was just in a hurry to deli--"
"Deliver what?"
"It's an errand for Lady Aiysin S-sir--- I-I--uhhh- I'm supposed to deliver this t-t-t-o the p-pa-palace for S-s-un-st-strike. I--"
The poor paige was stumbling all over himself. Pissing off one of the high ranking members of GUARDIAN, could cost him his career. Shin however cut him off abrubtly at the mention of Sunstrike.
"Who's this for? Sunstrike? She found him huh?"
He held his arms out for the platter.
"Sir?"
"Give 'er here. I'll get it to where it's going. YOU go practice walking... and not into people either."
"Ahhh-- Yes Sir."
Reluctantly the paige handed over the fruit platter and hurried off, eager to get out of the storm's path.
Shin glanced over the note and grinned. This should be interesting... So one of the two men he'd been waiting to meet had finally come to him. He couldn't have been more pleased since he'd currently been restricted to the guild grounds.
Within 8 minutes Shin was on his way up the winding stair case to Sun's suite. He paused just outside the door, contemplating what he knew of the man's tastes. Setting the tray down silently, he stripped off the sleeveless shirt, revealing a lithe yet perfectly toned and sculpted body, still damp with sweat. A body most men would kill for. He wasn't overly muscular, for true to his kind he was tall and thin... but muscle glided under skin with each movement, and that hardened strength was undeniable. He pulled his hair over his shoulder and undid the leather throng that kept it tied back neatly, shaking it out so that it fell past his hips in an obsidian cascade.
Tucking his shirt through his belt at the back of his pants, he stepped inside the suite, light and sure footed. His emerald eyes flicking toward the bathroom and the sound of humming. A smile softened his face and his eyes as he crossed the floor, the cape like thing that started at his waist, flowing behind him as he moved with a timeless grace.
Sunstrike wouldn't know him from a hole in the ground... and the note said Aiysin sent a paige with the food in her stead. This was an opportunity he'd been waiting for--
He knocked on the doorframe of the bathroom lightly with his knuckles even as he stepped into the swirling steam, a slight slink in his step.
"Sunstrike?"

Sunstrike jumped at the sound of his name from a strange voice, water splashing a little as he sat up straighter. There was a delay to his reactions that might have meant he was half asleep, but with both arms braced against the sides of the tub, he wasn't too worried about drowning.
He tilted his head back until he was squinting practically upsidedown out of the door. The steam obscurred most of the view but from what he could see and from what he heard, the person was male, and tall. Most would be worried at this point, but Aiysin had said that he was perfectly safe here after all.
"Hullo! Did something come up with Aiysin? I didn't upset her, did I?" She'd seemed alright when she'd left, laughing even, but sometimes the female mind was quite mysterious to even Sun. The next few words were slightly mournful with that teasing edge that he couldn't really rid himself of.
"I hope she doesn't take revenge on my clothes or food, women have a funny quirk when it comes to divine justice."

"Ah sorry, I know I'm not as vuluptuous as our little Gatekeeper, but I hope you don't mind me bringing you your food instead. She exaplins in the note."Shin stepped into plain sight as he bent over the edge of the tub, setting down the tray in easy reach of Sunstrike so he could lounge in the tub and eat at the same time. The note attatched read:Aiysin's Note Sorry for sending this with a paige instead of bringing it myself, but one of the 1st squads gates is collapsing, I need to go stabalize it before it caves. I hope this array is to your liking, try the dip it's excellent! I'll be back as soon as I fix this, and I'll bring your clothes. For now, please use one of the bathrobes in the armoire -Aiysin

The man came into focus and Sun's mouth went dry, his head straightening, which didn't help, because the sihlouette was now reflected in the clouded mirror. Sun's mind was vivid enough to fill in all the details. Where he hadn't been embarassed in front of Aiysin, now suddenly he wasn't so sure there were ENOUGH bubbles in the tub.
"Um....n-no that's fine, sorry if I gave the wrong impression." Suddenly docile, he read the note so he wouldn't be caught staring. He hugged his knees to his body and wondered what to do. Divine justice indeed, if this were just a paige. He was sure she'd probably been thinking about their earlier conversation about GAURDIAN and all the pretty people.
He'd have to figure out his own revenge once his mind decided it would unscramble from the effect. Then again, maybe she was innocent, he never really assumed she'd be devious enough to send some sort of elven god in with his supper.
His eyes flicked to the raven haired man and he swallowed. Sun's voice actually almost sounded normal. "C-could you do me a favour?"

Shin knelt, leaning over the edge of the tub slightly, practically purring as he smiled at Sunstrike. A slow, lazy smile. The kind of smile that a man gets when he's interested in something, or rather someone and he KNOWS they've noticed him.
"I could do you many 'favours'--"
He leaned in as he said it, as if he would kiss him. But he stopped short and flashed him a grin.
"What would you have of me?"

Sunstrike's eyes widened, like a deer in headlights, he blinked at those green eyes and then sighed softly, almost regretfully.
"Would you be kind enough to get me one of the robes she's talking about? I could get one myself, but...it would probably be faster if you did, erm..."
He paused for a name, unsure of himself this close to someone that may, or may not be offering more room service then he'd been offered ever before.
It wasn't just the fact that the man was really nice looking that had thrown Sun off. By now he'd been soaking in a tub of water for what could have been an hour or two. He was practically drugged from the effects, even if he had made sure the water was hot enough.

Shin winked and raised himself up on his forearms first, standing slowly so that Sun could take in the entirety of his figure.
"Of course."
He grinned and pivoted, a nuance to his hips as he walked that give his oh-so-tight-toosh just a bit of a wiggle. He crossed the room and opened a cupboard, pulling out one of those plushy, soft cotton robes that felt like ambrosia next to your skin. Returning to the tubside, he held it out, ready for Sun to step into. And just stood waiting.

No responce to the name, and Sunstrike made a soft noise of irritation. Pull yourself together Sun, it's not the first person to ever flirt with you, hell, if he wasn't doing it, you would... Maybe, finally, he was starting to be more like himself, now that the shock had worn off.
This wouldn't be so bad, it wasn't like he'd go all the way. He might as well enjoy the view anyway. Swallowing hard he pushed himself to his feet in the water, favouring his injured leg heavily.
Sun was actually sat, back to the paige, as the other man came back with the robe...he'd meant to still be standing but there would have been no way without ending up cracking his head against the ceramic. His head was waist high, and water streamed down the pale skin, trailing from his dampened down hair, the usual spikes lost to the heaviness. His figure was hunched as if that had taken more effort then it should have.
The material brushed his arms and he straightened again, shivering from more then cold. Sun's arm gently moved into one, then the other sleeve. When the soft material rested against his shoulders without help, he looked up and grinned.
"Thank you, I appreciate you sticking around to help..." Sun would almost be sad to see the man go, and a shy thought flicked through his mind. How much trouble am I going to get into for this...
"W-would you like some of this with me? It's a lot...I'm not a big eater."
