Malika mearly smiled as she walked along with him. Then when he spoke of the stories she looked over at him. "Although not all of the stories are pleasent, it can be good to learn as much as one can." She then began to trail behind slightly.
Watching him drink she saw the strange resemblence to the walls and Angamika's back. Blinking she tilted her head but only for a moment.
"Any story will do, for I one day hope to hear them all"

Angamika sat with his paws together, tail curling neatly around himself, eyes sly and smiling as he looked over the water at the fallen masonry and trees decorating this edge between sand and water. What might put the young lioness most in awe...
"Perhaps I might tell you a story of the two legged creatures, the men who once had a pride so big and powerful that they placed some of these stones about, lived in them and wrote on them in their own language, marking the place as their own... trying to speak to the gods." His voice was conspiratorial in it's normal light, carefree tone.

Malika caught up with him and took a seat in a spot where she could see his expression the best. The white lioness still continued to smile because she was happy, but there wasn't much of a time when she wasn't.
"Two legged creatures?" She repeated confused, she have never heard or seen a creature that walked on only two legs, or maybe she had but she had never heard of the creature he had described. "I would love to hear the story."

"Have not wondered at the ruins that suround this place at all, the decorations that mark them?" The elegant lion's words were lightly amused and held not a trace of embarrasment as he went on, "There are pictures of these odd creatures, but only I have the power to understand what the writings say."
HHis silver eyes glinted as the young lioness looked up curiously at him. She really was too pretty a thing to let her get broken by some of the other mindsets that were around here. Just as well she was supposed to be his, that way he could stop anything particularly nasty happening. Beautiful things were worth conserving, like the little black snakes, the small flowers, the dead lizard skeleton that had decayed almost perfectly in a sheltered hollow between the columns...

Malika nodded at the males words when he spoke since she had, indeed wondered about the ruins, perhaps from the very first day she had come to the oasis even though that night she had fallen asleep just moments after she had arrived. "If you say that the writtings tell you of two-legged creatures I can only believe what you say, for it could explain how this became...."
A pause had followed "What it is now." She did not understand completely what Angamika had said but she did understand a good bit of it, or atleast she hoped she did. The entire time she was with him she held a smile since it was something she did regularly. She did not have any idea of what had been said between the young male in front of her and the king of the pride.

[This is just to wrap this up for me since there hasn't been any other posting and there probably won't be.]
Malika then rose to her paws bowing her head to the seer. "I fear that I must be leaving, but I would love to hear more stories from you again." She turned away and took a few steps forward before turning her head back toward him with a smile. "I do hope that this isn't the last time we see each other."
