Naraku glowers at Inuyasha.
"Ku ku ku ku, you can't even touch me. How pathetic!"
He lunges his tentacles at Inu again.
"HIRAIKOTSU!!!"
Sango's boomerange cuts the tentacles before they get near the hanyou.

Chrys, after swatting away the semyosho and miasma with her magic, cursed herself for not practicing with and expanding her magic stores. She pulled her arms back and held them like she would a bow. An glowing red bow and arrow appeared in her hands and she looked down at Naraku and Inuyasha. "I hate to do this, considering what magic I have left, but...INUYASHA! MOVE!"
He heard the girl from earlier shouting at him, and he looked up quickly after he had landed. He saw the girl point a glowing bow and arrow towards Naraku.
She closed her eyes and let the shot go, trusting her aim and her arrow. It passed through Naraku as well, but he began solidifying again. However, after she had shot the arrow, she fell to her knees, exhausted from the effort. "The arrow of restraint..." she whispered. "It keeps the enemy from leaving the area. Unfortunately, that's all I have left for now."

*places hands on Chrys, as a blue aura seems to stream from Miroku to Chrys.*

Sango watches in amazement as Miroku and Chrys are enveloped in the blue aura.
'I never knew Houshi-sama had powers of that magnitude,' she thinks.
Naraku stops laughing and recoils as he feels the growing spiritual powers.

"Kagome-san! KAGOME-SAN!" Mizuho shouted, looking for the young miko. She had stopped firing arrows at Naraku, and had disappeared from her vantage point. "Kagome-san?!" The sprite found the young priestess' bow and arrows, but the girl was nowhere to be seen.
((Gosh, you know what we need? We need a Kagura or something. Better yet, get a Hakudoshi! *hint hint* But I already have two characters, and I'm borrowing one, so I think of myself as uneligible. Anyone up to it?))

((I'll be Kagura!))
Suddenly there's a gust of wind and evil laughter.
"If you're looking for your precious Kagome, just look up here!" calls Kagura, the wind user from her flying feather.
Kagura is holding the unconscious Kagome in a vice grip and glaring down at the Inu-gumi with crimson eyes.
'I'll get her,' thinks Sango, jumping onto Kirara's back and charging straight at the feather.
"You think you can approach me, taijiya?" says Kagura as she unleashes a viscious gust of wind.
"AAAAH!" cries Sango as she and Kirara are blown back to earth with a sickening thud.
"Back away from Naraku-sama, or I'll drop her. She won't survive a fall from this distance and don't think you can catch her in midair. Remember, I and no other control the wind!" warns Kagura.

Mizuho hopped from stone to stone, higher and higher. "You may control the wind," she whispered, "but can you control my flight?" She bashed against the hovering feather, eyes blazing. "Let her go!" she yelled, latching onto Kagome.

"You'll pay for that, you b***h!" screeches Kagura as she yanks on Kagome and a viscious tug-of-war ensues.
Sango, still sore from falling, quickly remounts Kirara, ready to fly up and assist if needed.

"Now, now, name-calling will get you nowhere!" smirked Mizuho as she disappeared, reappeared right in front of Kagura, and slapped her. HARD. Then she reattached herself to the miko's arm.
((Yes, I know, that's not grammatical, but it adds to the effect.))

"AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!" Kagura roars and summons up a viscious gust of wind just as she harshly yanks Kagome.
Sango and Kirara fly up behind Kagura while she's distracted. Sango silently releases Hiraikotsu, hitting Kagura in the back of the head. Kagura stumbles forward and loses her grip on Kagome who falls harmlessly forward into Mizuho's waiting arms.

Mizuho quickly dived down below the demonic reincarnation with Kagome. She began to stir, "Whass goin on...?" she mumbled incoherently.
Chrys nodded to Mizuho once Kagome's safety had been assured. She jumped up to a higher point to survey the battle, all the while keeping a close eye on Miroku to make sure he wasn't attacked.

((Since no one is posting, I suppose I will go again... gonk ))
Inuyasha growled angrily, clutching the Tetsuaiga in his hands with fury. No one did that to Kagome and got away with it!
"Mizuho!" yelled Chrys, "Lend me your strength!" She cupped her hands together, an arrow held between them, and began chanting quickly in a language no one could recognize, and obviously not Japanese.
