"Oh! Shuura." The frazzled woman reached out to take Shuura's hand for a moment before letting go and giving a nervous smile which only grew when Roux's assitance was mentioned - he was doing something helpful and good! "Oh.. it's not me, it's Roux. Roux is awesome." She took her tag and pinned it on, handing the other to Roux and pointing at the one that now adorned her Kimono. "Put this on, please? Like this."
Roux took the tag and looked distastefully at it, letting the plastic grow a layer of frost before dropping it on the counter. He was close to just going around the edge of the booth to get the ice cream himself but now that a familiar face was here he pointed to Shuura and then to the ice cream, a stoney expression on his face.
Chloe blushed at the comment on her hair. "O-Oh.." hands once more lifted upward as though to cover it absentmindedly. "Thank you.. but really.. it was a mistake. The dye appeared to be a bit old and it was the wrong colour to begin with... but.. I-I do like it.."

Seaieka smiled to herself at the comment Mis Chole made about the dye, thinking to herself, 'Why would you use dye that looked old in the first place?' She looked up and examined Chole from a distance then looked over at Shuura, 'So that's her name...' she made a mental note to look up the name in the universitys' rosters since her question still remained unanswered, she was sure she had seen Shuura at one of them during her tours of the campuses.

One second Chloe was there, a welcome distraction from the stares Julian's attire seemed to attract, and then she was gone. It was somewhat irritating, but the girl was one of the lucky few he liked. The drive-by hello would not be an issue. He flashed his ticket at the entrance, still using the majority of his strength to pull along the radioactive Raevan behind him. Even with no feet, there was a feeling as though the Frei was digging his heels into the ground.
"If you are nervous, forget it," the scientist growled, ignoring the pain in his still wounded and bandaged arms. This was no time to be weak, even with his hair all- he paused instantly, ignoring Gage as he was caught offguard and hit into his guardian's back. Something had been different about Chloe, and Julian, who was normally excellent with details, was puzzled. Oh. Right. The hair. He narrowed his eyes, noting delicate hints of emotion, some of which he was not familiar with.
Slowly, he loosened his grip on his Raevan's wrist, sliding his fingers eventually off of the arm entirel. The now free hand dug into his pocket, producing a surprisingly bland, brown leather wallet. He removed quite a bit of money from within, and offered it to the Frei. "Buy yourself icecream or whatever you want. I'll catch up with you in a moment."
He needed to compose himself, and that meant visiting one of the stalls that sold alcohol.
Gage was quite surprised when his owner of sorts both stopped mid-stride, and then gave him spending money. The being was still far too young and inexperianced to truly understand the monetary concept, but he did know that one could exchange green papers or white papers or that coin or this coin for almost anything. Julian had tried to explain the whole thing on a deeper level to him, but it was too confusing. He merely assumed that if any trade was required, what his guardian had given him would be enough.
If not, he would simply float away. The Raevan was not one to prolong conflict. Life with a slightly mad scientist taught one that there were far too many battles not worthy fighting.
Shy, but intent on finding out what was being offered, the Frei skimmed his way over to the icecream booth. Ignoring the small crowd, he merely held out his hand expectantly, holding the money firmly. His voice was a bit muffled by his mask, but it was always that way. There was a calm, just plain odd sense to the Frei. His method of accepting icecream was much the same.
"Please."

Seiaeka looked up again as she felt another presence pass by, this time it was a green Raevan. She stared at it for a moment and remembered vaguely that she had seen it with the brilliantly dressed man that made her choke on her pocky stick.

Chloe smiled as she saw Gage come to the ice cream booth. "Hello, Gage."
Roux, however, was less polite. He set his lips firmly in a pout and started to reach out to slap the Unicorn Frei's hand away. He wanted the ice cream, and he would never, ever, ever share any of it with that creature.
Chloe was just a little pre-emptive, though, reaching out to take Roux's hand before he could hit. She gave him a hurt disapproving look before letting go. She took a bowl and a spoon, fishing out a few perfectly round scoop of the green melon ice cream and handing it over to the Frei. She waved the hand holding the money away gently with a secret smile. "It's okay, I'll pay for this surving."
Roux floated there, looking a perfect mix of outraged and flabbergasted. Chloe had never once denied him anything... this was a first.

Seiaeka watched the Reavans interact it was quite opposite from when the two flowery females had met, these two didn't seem to like eachother, or rather it seemed that the one called Roux didn't like the one who was just now labelled as Gage.
She sat there watching with interest starting at the green Raevan curiously, and even more curiously at the rune symbol that made up is midsection. She hadn't had enough of a look at the Raevans to notice this earlier, and she made a mental note to take a look at all of them to see if there were any differences in the runes.

Vyn, after several tries at getting the pale golden fish, had now given up and was in a rather bad mood. It was getting hotter as the day progressed and the brightness and heat of the festival wasn't really helping to better her mood. She slinked a little closer towards the booth attendants, where the tent above them offered some shade from the harsh sun. What was that thing the man had in his mouth? Curls of smoke was floating up from it.
Vyn floated a little closer, until she caught a whiff of it. Her dainty nose wrinkled slightly. What is this smell? She decided she didn't like it.
Shuura's eyebrow twitched as Roux pointed to her and then the ice cream, obviously ordering her to get a serving. Ah well, she supposed since she was a volunteer expected to serve everyone she'd might as well do the job right and grant his request anyway, although in any other situation she would most likely just laugh at him and tell him to get it himself. Oh well, at least he was keeping the ice cream cold and helping her not feel roasted in the summer heat. She kind of envied Chloe. Roux was like a personal portable aircon!
She cheered slightly as Chloe gave the new Frei that just joined the booth--gosh, there really are a lot of them, I don't even have the energy to be surprised anymore--a scoop of melon ice cream. Good choice, she thought, if only because they were both green. As for Roux....
"Alright Roux, don't get your panties all in a bunch, you can have ice cream too," she snorted silently to herself as she belatedly realized it was physically impossible for Roux to wear any kind of underwear. "Humm. You don't quite seem to be the adventurous type," she joked slightly. "Let's stick with plain boring non-fruit flavors for you, eh?" Scooping up a large serving of vanilla ice cream, she dumped it in a bowl and added a chocolate wafer stick, unsure if the icy Frei would enjoy that latter addition, though. "Here you go." She set the bowl of ice cream and a spoon on the part of the table closest to Roux.

Julian had located a stand that served sake, and purchased an entire bottle. When he was quite entirely sure no one was looking, he managed to remove the top with his teeth, pocketing the cap in what little room his pockets possessed. He wandered past the goldfish and icecream stalls, stopping just long enough to shoot a glance towards both Gage and Chloe.
Roux was being his usual, or so Julian assumed, belligerent self. His guardian had a handle on it, though, and thus the scientist was disinclined to offer any sort of glare. He had time for that later, he presumed. With such an outfit, the first thing he felt he needed was a slight emotional outlet through the entire bottle of sake he had just bought.
It was hard to read Gage's emotions with his mask always kept in place. His eyes narrowed slightly at Roux's movement and general attitude, but he could very well have been confused rather than angry. There was a small, mechanical noise as the small wings on his back began to flutter. That reaction seemed centralized on That Girl giving him a rather green bowl of ice cream. The Frei accepted the gift with the hand that was not holding money. He seemed not to know what to do with the object, simply starring at it with wide, strange eyed.
"It's green," he said bluntly. Pleased.

Roux huffed but took the bowl. Fine, if Chloe wanted to dote on the green freak then she could, he didn't care. He'd float near Shuura and get an endless suply of ice cream from her. He took the spoon and dipped it into the ice cream, a small expression that meant he was savouring the treat crossed his face for a moment. He turned away from the green Frei and Chloe and glared off toward the fish booth.
Chloe smiled at Gage, taking a spoon and reaching out to dip it in the ice cream. "It's melon flavoured, too. You eat it, like Roux is." She held the spoon out as though she intended to feed him. "If you like it you can always have more."
She was distracted a moment as she saw a familiar figure walk by the ice cream booth, finding herself flushing a little and wondering if he'd seen her. She'd told him she'd be here... but.. well she hoped he'd come over, or that she could find time to go over to him. For now she'd leave him be and get to work with her duty.

Gage floated back what must have been a step, shaking his head nervously. He reached to take the spoon back from the girl, eyes following Roux's form as he headed over towards another booth. There was tension in his gaze, though nothing close to the dislike Roux seemed to hold for him.
He quickly focused back onto the icecream, placing his money down onto the table stand if only to keep his hands free to conquer the frosty substance. No wonder Roux, of all creatures, would enjoy this sort of thing. The Frei could feel the slight cold even through the bowl.
"My face..." Gage said quietly, the muffling effect of his mask amplified. He looked suddenly a little embarassed, quite unsure of himself. The Raevan had never eatten in public before. His wings clicked to a halt.

Zephrnyx's attention was caught at the mention of the laboratory, and his eyes changed to a bright green-gold. "Really...! That Lab..." He quickly nodded his head as she bowed and repied in his name "My name is Zephrnyx Raiyth, But it may be easier calling me Nyx or just Raiyth." He smiled warmly "Thank you for the information."
Dipping his net into watter, He waited for a goldfish. As one came into the area of his net, he suddenly lifted it. It swam around furiously and tried to break out. Instead, it started making tiny little holes in which then Zephrnyx let it go. Putting up the net, he smiled again and the caretaker and nodded. "Thank you." He then turned around to get to the Ice Cream booth and noticed considerably more people were there- including the bright guy who looked like he was having a very bad day, a green creature, a pretty girl with pink hair and another, beautiful creature, who had an icy aura coming from him- literally. Zephrnyx decided he'd rather stay in the cold and went over to the Ice cream booth, glancing at the red haired man as he passed by and nodding. He stopped at the counter and smiled at the girl with pink hair. "Hello, Miss, May I have some melon ice cream?" he asked lightly.

'Hrmm?' Seiaeka looked up at the newcomer as she finished her icecream, 'At this reate they're going to be out of melon icecream before I even get to it.' she thought.
She stood up and went to the counter and stood next to the man ordering, "I'll have some melon and vanilla icecream please." she said quietly while placing the money on the counter.

Byagane just giggled at the man's reaction and nodded to him as he left. She soon caught her own little fish, naming it Fish-san, and decided to go look at the booth selling ice cream. Seemed to be popular.
The girl with purple hair calmly walked over to wear the green creature seemed to be floating. He looked alittle distressed. Poor thing. Must be that mask he's wearing, it won't let him eat.
"Do you need some help?"
She smiled serenely at him, her purple eyes just gazing at him with gentle concern.

Even with the mask, Gage's sudden agitation was becoming quite obvious. His gaze flickered from one way to the other, as he suddenly seemed to notice all at once that the small crowd by the ice cream stand was watching him. Mostly him, or at least his guardian, though the man's hurried pace had taken him beyond the stand by that point. There was a small sense of claustrophobia weighing in on the Raevan, and he was quite unsure how to cope with it gracefully.
"Help?" he murmured doubtfully, looking at a young woman with somewhat odd hair. Not that anyone, even excluding Julian, look paticularly 'normal'. Then again, Gage was beginning to suspect that the television really did not even know the definition of 'normal'. All the Raevan knew was that it was not him. He held a hand reflexively up, by his face, tugging a little as his mask though it was a gesture to keep it on rather than pull it down. "I... don't need help."
Gage paused, allowing the trailing end of him to swirl as he fretted. "My face."
