Cabel nodded. "Alright, if you insist. Though I'd still rather help out somehow if I can." As Nienna disappeared into the next room, the Fae allowed himself a slight smile. She really was a gift from the Guardians.
He leaned back on the couch for a moment with a contented sigh. This was a cozy place to live; much nicer than any place he had stayed lately. It would be a nice change and he wouldn't mind staying here with Nienna if she didn't mind his company. He'd clean up and fetch water for her...anything to help out and make up for his intrusion. Speaking of which...
He stood and went to refill his cup with water, grabbing an apple from the basket of fruit on the way. It had been a while since he'd last eaten and he'd almost forgotten how hungry he was. It really had been an eventful day!

Placing one of the fur blankets down onto the bed Nienna smiles as she brushes the fur carefully down. She was happy that Cabel was planning on staying here. Living on her own without her siblings made things slightly scary for her.
Brushing her hair from her face she turns walking by into the main room "Your bed is ready, so whenever you wish to sleep you can." walking over she takes a seat back down on the fur pulling her knees up to her chest. She just sat there watching him wondering how she manged to fall in love with the perfect pae'il.

Cabel chuckled softly, finishing his apple and water, then setting about cleaning up after himself. It wasn't much of a meal maybe, but it would do him just fine for now. "Thank you, Nienna," he smiled, sitting back down next to her and 'sneakily' snuggling closer. "You really are too sweet to me, you know." Grinning, he leaned in and gave her a peck on the cheek before laying his head on her shoulder.
He closed his eyes, relaxing. Never had he felt this safe...this at home anywhere before. Never so happy as he did right here, at Nienna's side. Perhaps...this really was where he belonged after all. It was a comforting thought.

Nienna smiles running her fingers through his hair "Your welcome Cabel. And I care about you, I want you to feel like you belong." wrapping her arms around his body as best as she could she closes her eyes.
This felt right, him being here holding her. She didn't want to leave this spot ever.

Cabel had forgotten: Had he openly admitted those insecurities to Nienna already or was she reading his mind? Ah well, it didn't really seem to matter anymore anyway. He simply continued smiling, eyes still closed.
Feeling slightly playful, he wrapped his arms around her waist and nuzzled her shoulder as he snuggled closer to her on the couch. "Hmm...you make a nice teddy bear to cuddle up with..." he teased, grinning to himself.

Blushing Nienna hides her face alittle before shaking her head "I do? Is that a good thing?" kissing his cheek she runs her fingers lightly across his neck. She was enjoying this closeness with him. Pulling away slightly she stands only to arch her back before slipping back itno his lap. "Can I stay this way?"

"Of course! It's a very good thing! I happen to like cuddling," Cabel winked, smirking as he watched her stretch. As she settled back down in his lap, his arms automatically circled her waist once more, holding her close in a both gentle, yet protective, manner.
"I certainly have no objections," he replied softly, resting his cheek on her shoulder once more. She was warm and soft and sweet...and she made him happy. What more could any Pae'il ask for? He'd certainly like to know. He leaned up to kiss her cheek before snuggling her neck once more. He couldn't think of anything that would make this moment any better.

Closing her eyes Nienna relaxes back against him as she lifts her hand to run her fingers through his hair. This was perfect in her eyes, she was safe and was able to forget about everything except Cabel. Nothing in this world could make it better.
Yawning slightly she opens one eye before she turns slightly in his lap to grab at the blanket over the side of the couch. Pulling it towards her she lays it across herself and Cabel as she closes her eyes once again.
Truely innocent was Nienna as she rest her head on Cabel's shoulder.

Sighing softly, Cabel leaned towards her hand as she ran her fingers through his hair. He wasn't sure why, but Guardians, he loved when she did that. Something about the sensation was...soothing. It made him want to curl up and go to sleep.
Of course, it had been a long day for them both. Sleep was probably a good idea. Despite their earlier conversation, it was tempting to go to sleep right here, warm and comfortable in each other's arms. In fact, Cabel was reluctant to say anything...so he didn't.
His intentions were entirely pure and innocent as well as he tucked the blanket in around them, shifting only slightly to lean back a bit on the couch. He simply wanted to be here with Nienna. He liked being close to her and he wanted to be here in case she needed anything. Anything at all. Sure, he knew the implications that most meant when they discussed 'sleeping together,' but what about the literal meaning? Nothing wrong with that, right? He couldn't see anything wrong with it so he wasn't going to worry about it further.
How could he worry with such a sweet, beautiful, perfect Fae in his arms? Smiling, he held her close as he closed his eyes and relaxed with a sigh. He could ask for nothing more ever again in his life.
He had Nienna.

Turning in Cabel's arms Nienna didn't think twice as she curl close to him. Her hand rest on his chest as her head was still on his shoulder. Breathing slowly she smiles alittle content with just being there in his arms. She didn't care what others may think, she knew better that all she did was sleep.
Allowing herself to fully relax she pressed a small kiss to his shoulder before sleep took over. She knew she would be sleeping peacefully and safe in his arms.

Cabel was practically glowing with pride and happiness as he glanced down at the sweet Fae sleeping in his lap. He tenderly pulled the blanket up and tucked it in around her, careful not to disturb her sleep. Arms wrapped around her, he settled in for sleep himself.
Warm and comfortable beneath the blanket with Nienna, he was surprised to note how comforting her weight was resting atop his body. He'd have given anything for them to stay like that forever, but for now, he'd settle for a night of sweet slumber together.
"Good night, my love. May the Guardians watch over you and bless you with sweet dreams." His voice was soft and soothing, unwilling to wake her for any reason. He knew somehow that even in sleep, she would hear him. Smiling, he kissed the top of her head, then closed his eyes to drift slowly off to sleep.
"I love you..."
