Shizankoff WE have an all girl drum line and an all guys pit, which is kinda flippped That's just freakin' awesome. Our drumline for the marching band consists of: 2 Quints: 1 Boy - 1 Girl 2 Cymbals: 1 Boy - 1 Girl 4 Snares: 4 Girls 2 Mallets: 2 Girls 4 Basses: 3 Boys - 1 Girl (Me! crying ) I do get to flirt with them constantly, hit on them, and hug them. I love it! People think I'm dating two of them secretly (one of them is a complete jerk). But it's soo fun! I love being around a bunch of guys though, they are my kind of people! blaugh

we had a flute boy. He was straight and knew more about fashion than most of the gay guys. He went to the 'secret spot' (girls bathroom) with us during sectionals so the DM wouldn't find us and make us actually PRACTICE. We read fashion magazines and did eachothers hair (he had curly hair and it was jus long enough to play with.) We taught him well in the ways of women and he has gone out and wooed them easily. He thanks us daily and we make jokes about 'our little babies all grown up' He is now a mellophone but we still call him fluteboy.

I'm the only girl trombone, and I think the only lower brass girl. I was supposed to be in honors sophmore band, but due to scheduling, I have to be in concert band. last year there was one other girl with me and we spent all of band making fun of the guys.

elfwyn141 crying Im the only girl in the brass at all. crying Same here! Some of the flutes in the band are thinking of switching to trumpet. We have an overflow of flutes- more than 15... and five trumpets. Anyways... I'm also the only girl, and person for that matter, on horn.

Last two years I was in the sousaphone section. Only girl. It sucked. But now! I moved to the baritone section. They're used to having at least one girl and I'm their only senior. They're all nice, except for the freshmen. Snotty bastards. D:
But then at lunch I hear from a sousaphone that the section misses me! Mainly because they don't have a girl to pick on anymore.. but still! Isn't that sweet? But I'd never go back to that section in a million years. ^^;
There's even a new tradition in the baritone section where the oldest girl is named 'queen' and given a mouthpiece that is passed down from girl to girl. xD I have the mouthpiece in the back window of my car. <3

I'm one of four girls on the drum-line (out of 15 kids) and one of five in our percussion class (out of 25).
So, I'm not the only girl, but we're still pretty heavily out-numbered.
My freshmen year though, the bass line (which is were I am) was only girls. We called our selves the booty-shakin'-bass-babes. I still have that T-shirt.

I'm one out of three girls in drumline, both pit and battery, with eighteen people. And I am also a tuba player, so I am usually the only girl.
