Koroji nodded and fully faced his students. It then flashed across his mind that miss Nyas had still not come in. He was in a sour mood and he would no longer stand her laying out. He vigorously punched in the number and shot it. This shock would send her to her knees if she was standing. He then put his remote away.
"Now, in music we have notes that are inbetween these lines and spaces. These are sharps and flats. Flats and sharps interconect interestingly. Instead of a perdictable fourteen notes, we only really have twelve differant pitches in an octave. Twelve steps between.
So, this is how it goes. This is from lowest pitch to highest, bA to bA."
#G or bA G #F or bG F E or bF #D or bE D #C or bD C B or bC #A or bB A bA or #G
"These are the half steps between the notes. Everyone understand?"

Kazz blinked. Was this man even speaking Japanese, or had he suddenly launched into martian. He might as well had been for as much sense as anything he was being told made. But he'd be damned if he said anything about it. He looked blanky at the sheets spread out on the stand before him, his expression miserable. Perhaps this was a bad idea...
Violet eyes drifted over to the clock that hung on the wall. Heaving a heavy sigh, Kazuma wondered where Keiran was and how he was doing. He hoped that damned Himo wasn't getting him into anymore trouble. He'd never forgive him if he did.

"I'll take your silence as confirmation." He turned to a desk next to the wall and took up some sheets of paper. "These are fingering charts. I expect you to memorize them quickly. I want to move with haste on getting everyone on the same page, alright?"
He gave each instrument Their fingering charts. To Kazuma he gave a chart that had tabs and notes with the fret fingerings. "Please study them quickly alright. Now, I want you to play an A in the staff, whichever one you play, alright. Find it now."

Kimiko sighed and packed up her instrument and papers. She would have to make sure she practiced over the break. It crossed her mind to drop the class entirely but she enjoyed music too much.
Glancing at her wristwatch more out of habit than to check the time, she left the classroom. She knew she had a few minutes to drop off her things and freshen up a bit. She knew herself to be a bit plain, but she was never fond of makeup anyway. She saw it as a waste of credits. Her heart skipped a beat against her will.
