"T... top?" Rivera blinked. "Top... like a thing that you spin?" She made a swirling motion with her hand. "I don't see why you want me to attack you with a spinning top... but I have a few of them that has metal spikes and stuff in the basement. It just takes a while to spin, since they're about a foot wide each..." Rivera tried to explain, but the look on his face told her that he definitely did NOT mean for her to throw or spin a top at him. "I'm sorry... I really don't get it... "

"I just dared them to give a better gift..."Kira said his smile faded a little."So what do you think about the gift?"He asked curiously."This is actually the first time I've given a gift..."He said actually expecting to be beat.

"Woah... thanks... "Rivera took the can of peanut soup and looked at it curiously. She never seen it before... and it looked very interesting. Kira spoke from beside her. "Well, for one thing, your gift definitely made me feel more like a girl... but I'll say that his is better when it comes to making me interested... I've never seen can like this... " She looked back at him with a blank face, but her eyes twinkled with a pure joke. She knew that he had won.

Kurai's webcam interested her even more. "This is the cutest little thing! Thank you Kurai-sama..." Stretching out her hand, she spoke the two familiar words "Renerva, jontyure..." A wire few from the cam into her arm, connecting directly to her nerves. "This thing's powerful... " She said after a few moment, then whispered "Finee...". The wires retracted. Ever facet of the webcam was beautiful to her. The interior was a complex structure that she needed to remember the next time she built something.

Tainted Kurai's question struck her as strange. "Not really... I can fix and make things... and manipulate steel and space... but that's about it with computers..." She shrugged. "I'm more of a person who likes to play with her swords and chains..." Rivera bowed to both Kurais. "Thank you for your presents... and I can make that can turn into a pretty good exploding grenade. The thing has enough force to crack your skull open four times and liquify your neurotic particles... It'll come in very handy... where did you get it?"

Hikaru, who had been out on the dance floor getting her groove on up until this point, made her way back over to where Rivera was standing. Inserting herself right into the conversation, she came up to her and waved, smiling.

"Hey, Rivera! You said you'd do fortune-telling and stuff for people who wanted, right?" she asked, eyes ablaze with curiosity. "Can you do one for me? I brought along my soccer ball for you to use..." She pointed at the ball lying in the corner over by the door.

When Makie was handed another gift from the girl that greeted her at the door, she smiled softly, and blushed a light pink at the same time. "T-Thank you... B-But y-you didn't have to..." She said, this present she decided to open. It seemed kind of heavy... She wondered what it was... She slowly tore some of the wrapping off neatly. It seemed to be made of wood. A jewelry box maybe? She continued to take off the wrapping until it was all off... It was a box. She was right, a jewlry box. The brunette slowly opened the box to be hit with a blast of confetti and the tune of happy birthday. She closed it as a single tear streaked down her cheek. She normally didn't get this kind of thing... Just a special diary, or a pendant or something that came from the heart and wasn't store bought. Everything she got for her birthday was hand made by her parents. "A-Awwe... T-Thank you s-soo much..." Makie said, before wiping away the tear. "I-I don't e-even k-know you and yet... Y-You give m-me s-such a wonderful g-gift..!"

After seeing Rivera fall, she was surprised and froze up. But she got up in seconds which told Makie she appeared to be okay. The brunette let out a sigh of relief, playing with the ends of her skirt. That was when she heard Rivera talking to her. She looked up with her innocent eyes, and wondered what the girl was going to say... Or give... Makie was handed a little black box, which made the brunette afraid to open it. Little black boxes often contained beautiful jewlry. And beautiful jewlry made Makie feel uncomfortable, since it might have been expensive or something. Though, something told her she should open it. Taking a breath she opened it to reveal a beautiful blue choker. There was a tiny glass drop there too, and it was a redish color. Makie immidiatly tried it on, finding it to fit perfectly. She blushed.

"I-It's beautiful... I-I... F-Feel s-so bad because I-I don't h-have s-something special like this t-to give you... I-If I had k-known t-this w-was a p-party f-for y-you... I-I would have brought you s-something... P-Please let me make t-this up to you. I-I promise I-i'll g-get you a gift that w-will b-be as amazing a-as this..!" Makie said, her smal fingers touching the soft satin. It was beautiful, amazing. It must have cost a lot. She didn't know what to say. She was speechless. Makie bowed once and then hugged Rivera. "T-Thank you s-soo m-much... T-This party... A-And the g-gift.. E-Every thing... Y-You're such a wonderful p-person! I-I just w-wish I had k-known.. I-I would h-have made y-you something p-pretty and as a-amazing as this.." Makie admitted, another tear going down her cheek. Tears of overjoy, really. That was when Kurai... Tainted Kurai spoke... And after Tainted Kuri began to make strange hand motions she tilted her head to the side. "C-Chains aren't a-alive... A-Are your chains a-alive...?" Makie asked looking up with her milk chocolate eyes. Chains that were alive.. Now that is pretty insane. But cool at the same time! That's when the more happier Kurai replied to one of her questions. Saying that he was the real one. Although, past entintity... Hmm... That's interesting. But pushing that aside, Makie smiled childishly. "W-Well... At least... Y-you're both h-here..!"

The small girl then proceeded to where she put the gift Tainted Kuri gave and slowly opened it. The wrapping paper was sooo cute! The oranges and all. Actually, Makie liked apples, but oranges were always nice during a summer picnic. But that's besides the point. The girl opened the present to reveal... A CUTE LITTLE FLAKY PLUSHY! Makie loved Plushies, she had soo many, and tried to keep all of them in the best shape possible! And this plushy had a big cute ribbon on it and a little sweat drop you could attach to it. She hugged it and then hugged the real Kuri, since Tainted Kuri didn't like hugs. "I-I love it..! I-It's so c-cute..!" Makie said before breaking the hug. "I-I just love p-plushies..!"

Kira took the cake and got a fork.He held the fork from the end with his thumb and index and poked into the cake pulling off a piece.He lifted the fork to his lips and put the bite into his mouth."Hmm...I never had cake before..."He muttered chewing slowly enjoying the taste.So many things...Well...I technically was born a few days ago...He thought.

Hikaru took the thin slices of steel from Rivera, marveling at the intricacy with which the designs on the cards were carved out of solid metal. Walking over to the corner, she retrieved her soccer ball, tossing it over to her. She then sat down on the floor cross-legged, closing her eyes and looking as if she was trying to meditate. After a few moments, she opened her eyes again, staring directly down at the cards and slowly shuffling through them with great intensity. It took all of Hikaru's concentration to maintain focus like this for terribly long, so she was actively tuning out everything else in the room for the moment. Eventually, she stopped shuffling, and quickly dealt out six of the cards in front of her, handing the deck back to Rivera and smiling.

"There!" she announced proudly. "So do I have to have some sort of question in mind or something, or what...?"
