((Awww, crud. I forgot Kita's spiked collar bracelet. I'll have to edit that between RP posts.))

Kita watched the two go, then stopped leaning against the railing; she stared up at the ceiling and wondered. This seemed to be the highest spot in the park that wasn't in a tree. She'd be able to see far, and maybe there'd be some eggs there!

Setting her paper bag gently in her mouth, Kita clambered onto the railing. From there, she'd have to jump to reach the ledge, and did so -- but missed, splashing into the pond. Luckily, the paper bag wasn't wet, so she stood again, ran back up, and tried again.

The second time was the charm as Kita swung herself onto the roof and looked around on it, crouching for balance. Hopefully no responsible adults had seen her careless act.

Andraste offered Jacosa the small easter basket they had brought and the otter wondered why nobody was answering his call. But of course ! They were all busy hunting the eggs.

With a grin he accepted the basket and moved towards a small bush to look for an egg. What where the others doing ? His attention wasn't able to rest on the bush for long.

Andraste and Ranjit moved with Otieno and Nila towards the other parents.

With a quivering sigh on the brink of tears, Fala turned around as nothing moved in the tree. "Mommy..." she whimpered, outstretching her arms to be picked up and comforted. FM, however, did not go for it.

"Don't give up, Fala! I'm sure there's an egg out there for you somewhere. Try looking in that little pond. Maybe eggs are waterproof?" She giggled and Fala tilted her head, giving her mother a strange look. Still, she was her mommy and she decided to listen (for once).

Moving over towards the miniscule pond, Fala giggled at the koi fish swimming around before peeking closer for any hidden eggs.

Dameon let out a bark as he found an egg hidden in the grass. It was an orangy pretty color.

Angelus followed the bark. "Another one? Dameon, you've got a good nose." He picked up the egg to check what was inside.

"I can help you find one Kiana." He offered.

((Gah, was called down to eat breakfast. @.@))

Hinote nodded as she got on her hands and knees to look in the grass. Wow, Tie was quite the climber! "I didn't find anything yet, Tie!" she called back to her. Hmm... She noticed some odd tree roots - perhaps something small could hide in there?

Ah lovely, more dirt for Rebecca to cover herself with. Sajhiri watched in anguish as her child found no eggs, but a few crickets which she promptly stuffed into the centers of some of the roses on her dress. They chirruped plaintively at their odd form of captivity.

Rebecca now made a more musical way under the bridge to the other side, the crickets serenading her with a plea to let them go. Too bad she didn't speak cricket. The child stopped by some bushes, bending to peer under them in search of more eggs, and the captive insects made a hasty escape from the roses into the branches of the berry covered plants.

"EGGU!" Rebecca cried, demanding the eggs show themselves at once!

"MOMMY!" She shrieked gleefully. "I FOUND AN EGGY!" Before FM could react, Fala waded into the small pond, leaving her mother standing in brief, frozen horror before running forward. After all, the young girl could not yet swim!

Thankfully, however, the pond was only knee-deep and Fala was perfectly safe. She grabbed the egg happily and offered it to her mother - just for safe-keeping, of course. She couldn't share THAT well yet.

Cian - well what do you know! Someone buried an egg underneath that rock! o_O How odd!

What's that, Fala? That seems too shiny to be a rock in the pond...

((I just looked closer at the map and realized that the "gazebo" could actually be a gate. Ummmmm.... Well, I'm pretending there's a gazebo. :XP))

No eggs up here. Kita carefully crawled to the very top and squatted there, taking advantage of her height to look in the tops of trees and bushes nearby, and also to watch for anyone who might tell her to get down.

Nah, there didn't seem to be an egg anyway. Jacosa was distracted by a girl standing in a pond screaming for an egg. Quickly the otter moved over and wondered if there was another one inside.

"Woah, you found one." Quickly he peered into the water to see if another one was there.

His eyes caught sight of the egg just as Lethe's did. It was lovely... Something that one of his featherhead's would've curled up against and tried to hatch, no doubt. Of course... It wasn't the sort of egg to be hatched. It was an Easter Egg; to be cracked open and plundered for prizes. Loot. Booty. Pirate stuff.

Of course, before it could be plundered it would have to be fetched. He took one look at Lethe and then handed her his basket, stripping off his vest and handing that to her as well. "Wait here. I'll get it for you... And have a good look around for any others while I'm up there as well."

He gave one little nod before hopping up, taking hold of the branch with his hands in order to tug himself up onto it. He grunted softly as he checked his balance, carefully bringing himself to his feet. The egg wasn't all that far away...

"Got it!" He grinned, holding onto the egg with one hand and the tree with the other. "Be down in a bit... Going to have a look 'round." And, while up there, he did; searching for any other eggs that the pirate may have stashed away in the tree.

How could the eggs resist a cry like that, Rebecca?

Kita: What's that? Over there, at the top of that bush!

Another water-logged egg, Jacosa?

"Well, I guess not." Note sighed after reaching in with no luck. What's in these eggs anyway? Well, no way to know until she found one herself. She started crawling around, searching through bushes, checking behind rocks. Maybe if there wasn't any on the ground, she'll climb up and join Tie in the tree!

He glanced over at Cian who seemed to have found an egg... In the rocks? How odd. Of course, if the rabbit had been determined to find things then why on earth not place it where no one would think to look.

He continued to look through the flowers... Possibly for that perfect flower (or boquet, as it seemed he had picked a few) and possibly for another egg. A fine Easter this was... Certainly something to write home about.

Kita grunted as she barely managed to reach the railing with her toes; when she let go of the roof, her toes slipped, and she ended up flipping over and landing on her head, in the pond, with a huge splash.

Kita groaned and sat up, carefully keeping her bag as dry as she could, while holding her head in pain. She shakily got to her feet (there were dark spots swimming in front of her eyes), and dizzily made her way to the bush, grabbing the yellow egg with the pink polka-dots (or were they green? Her vision briefly swam before setting itself right) and putting it in her bag.

She decided to rest here for a moment while the pain in her head died away.
