My school is doing a Pirate show. It's not POTC. We don't have a name for it yet. sweatdrop Any suggestions?
*sniffles* My last year to be in marching band, for high school. This year I know is going to rock. *dances*

We haven't gotten all the sets down for the last song, Cantus and ADIEMS, we're tagging ADIEMS and considering it part of Cantus. The whole band is thinking that there is going to be this pirate fight between the band, pom and colorguard. I'm hoping we do because our director hasn't said anything about it.
Oh and our drill is one of a kind. Our director wrote it. He started writing the drill since school ended for us, which was in June or maybe earlier.

We always have our shows written for us. The music was written by one of the BD's, but now he has a different job, so it's not written by him anymore. DDDx However, we always have our drill written from scratch for us. C:

Well, we're not doing Trip the Light Fantastic anymore.
We're doing a show called The Man Who Wasn't There.
Kinda a swing of two opposites.
We're playing Prelude to Psycho, Color and Light, Let Me Fall and Candelabra Rumba

We're doing a show that isn't centered around anything.
It's Alexander's Ragtime Band, Swing Swing Swing, Nightengale Sang In Berkely Square, Birdland, and Maleguena.
My favorite is swing swing swing because we get to dance, and we have dancers out on the field in old costumes. ^.^ heart

We did Phantom of the Opera for '05-'06 and for '06-'07 we're doing West side story...Normaly we only have like 3-4 songs and a drum feature, but the year its DF and 5 songs >.<...Doesn't help daily night practices to work on our marching/endurance for Rose Bowl (lol)

we did star wars last year (that was like, a disaster) but this year were doing the who's tommy, and their music is awsome. plus, we have trumpets who can actually tongue this year! (well, kinda)

ours is "Lucidity" very weird lol
at first, its like all fast and stuff, then it gets slow and cheery. its weird! haha

Ours is weird this year. We have an odd march called the 'Overseas March', along with Into the Light, Fanfare for the 3rd Planet, and When Dreams Come True. We generally make up a title that encorporates all of the songs. Like last year's was called Rites, Spells, and Incantations for the Rites of Tamburo, HP Part 2, and Incantation, along with the Crosley March.

My band is doing a 'Spy' theme this year. We're playing Secret Agent Man, some Austin Powers song when we do a transition, Peter Gunn, and then of course, James Bond.
