Nyara noticed the clump of Thread before Mic, but guided her towards it. She flamed it with her flamethrower once more, even as the light dwindled away. It was good to think she was improving.

They swooped and dove, soaring and searing as they went. They even managed to bugle a warning call to a fellow whiterider, and the pair surged forwards to flame it before it hit their ghostly dragonkin. Nobody was going to get hurt- not on their watch!

Marty was focused on flaming, leaving Anakumath to keep a sense about their surroundings. So when the gold jerked, Marty was taken by surprise, looking to Anakumath, then up as a bag of...firestone....went hurdling down past them.

Marty was on the alert after nearly being pegged with a bag of firestone and noticed something.
The flamethrowers seemed to be having a bad day and Marty made a mental note to chew someone's ear later when she saw Sylfie fighting with her's....but also This airspace is clear, jump! Anakumath sent on the space Martirae had pictured, hoping they'd spoken up soon enough to avoid injury.

Marty was really getting the hang of actually flaming down Thread when it was in her airspace...and when her flamethrower didn't malfunction. Hmph.
You dive for a clump of Thread, and successfully find yourself turning it into harmless ash. +1 Target Accuracy
Thank you for your help, my love, Marty leaned mentally into Anakumath as she pulled from the dive she'd dropped into in order to catch the clump of Thread Marty had her eye on. We're best together, of course, Anakumath hummed in return.

Who was dropping Firestone up there? It had to be whoever was in the lowest altitude, because Marty was having a hard time imagining a bag from the higher altitudes would make it that far down without hitting somebody else first. Or ending up caught in fire. Hmmm.

Aedeth roared her frustration as she shifted sideways, out of the way of yet another bag of firestone. Enough was enough!

It was a piece of equipment and, as well she knew, the flamethrower could malfunction. Still, for the moment, it did it's job and did it well. One less bit of Thread to wreak havoc in the world.
