Short IC Response: Snow Dancer was lonely, always so lonely. Even if she came from a large family and had many around her, she had nothing to call her own. She always felt like a burden to her grandparents, her mother off elsewhere and her father never returning after the one night stand. Snow Dancer is always lots, she hopes the star will grant her this one wish for a little one, a little piece of heaven to call her own.

What does your character leave as an offering for the wishing star? a Bottle of scented massage oils and a rose quartz Necklace
Short IC Response: Word that the Great Spirits Mother eye (the flocks name for the Wishing Star) was Open and watching had spread through The Flock, and many mares, and even some stallions, were giving offerings to her light. Some prayed for good hunts, some for inspiration, some just in praise of her light and for her continued protection and guidance, regardless of if they were praying from a Private shrine or making short pilgrimage to one of the more elaborate shrines in the Religious quarter of the Flock (The lucky mares with Wings even took flight for the ancestral lands to pay homage in the Oracles temple). Gersemi was one of the ones who found herself walking into one of the religious quarters open air shrines, a leather bag hanging from its straps in her mouth.
Giving a polite bow to the Acolyte tending the shrine that evening, she up to the alter of the shrine. It had some permanent features: The flat stone tripod of a table with legs carved to look roughly like three treewalker harpy mares, the original three harpy sisters, a Stone basin in which the starlight shone brightly in, the cork at the bottom invisible in the dark of the night, the basin resting in the curl of the legs of a fierce looking angeni statue with etched designs over the body and to make defined hair, but with a smooth face, featureless save for an etching of the Great Spirit mothers symbol: A rough diamond shaped eye with three lines radiating above and below it., the etching having been filled with glass made by mixing dust from the glowing stones found in the caves so it glowed faintly with its own light, giving the statue an aura of power- The Great Spirit Mother, Birth mother of the Sacred Three, the first four to make up the origin of The Flock. Another permanent feature was the simple bench in front of it, cushioned and curved to shape the barrel of a soquili's chest to free their front claws.
The rest of of the alter was temporary: Offerings from those wishing to pay tribute to the Spirit mother. Small paintings of her likeness, offerings of flowers and herbs, feathered charms, blankets, jewelry, food, incense.
Gersemi gave a deep bow to the statue on the alter before stepping over the bench than sat down behind it, resting her chest comfortably in its curve. Taking the bag from her mouth, she carefully took out its contents. A simple yet elegant rose quartz necklace and a sealed jar of oils, which smelt of spices. She gently set the necklace over the head of the Statue and then uncorked the bottle of massage oils, dripping a bit onto her fingers and anointing the forehead of the statue with it before sealing it and setting it on the table. Standing she backed up away from the alter and joined the other mares (And some stallions) who were praying silently nearby to let the next worshiper give their offerings.
Finding a clear spot, she sat down once more and bowed her head, praying silently, Great spirit mother who watches over us this day, please hear my plea. I have been trying so long with the help of your closest followers, the Sacred Mothers, to help pick out whistler stallions to help me get a child of my own. I have no interest in stallions, but we have now chosen one of their best and most devoted whistlers, Cerynitis, to help me with my wish. I pray to you, let it happen: I Know the indirect ways are not as accurate, but I am starting to fear that I myself am Barren. Please Let me have a child.
What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Bucky drops off a scale from Steve's armor painted with tiny rabbit paws (thanks, Kobik, for the help) a merging of their two symbols design (Sorry not sorry - Kamiki and I got matching tattoos)
Short IC Response: Stevie 'n me, our lives keep intersecting. Time after time, whenever something pulls us apart, we somehow manage to find each other again, over thee years, through trials and changes. I don't want to leave his side again - and it might have taken me too many damn years to realize it, but I'm a better stallion when I'm around him, and I care for him more than just a friend, or even a brother.
We're ready to - well, maybe not settle down really, but a family. Something, well, the spirits have already heard. And I came from a big family, and I always wanted one of my own some day, too. I never thought it would be possible to do that with Steve, but now I can't think of anything better than that.

What does your character leave as an offering for the wishing star? one of his wing ribbons. (See image?) Short IC Response: "Umm... Hey." Tyben looked up at the stars. "I've heard the sayin' 'You never know until you try'... and well... here goes me tryin'." Tyben took a deep breath. "Help me find my brother. Please. This world is far too big for me to explore it on my own. And with him around, it would be like reliving one of our old adventures - like when we were foals!" He blinked and turned his head, pulling one of the ribbons from his wings and sighed. "This is all I have to offer, I'm afraid. See that it gets to him and leads him back?" He let the ribbon drift off with the wind and smiled softly as it disappeared into the night.

A single strand of hair from her tail, left unknowingly. Short IC Response: Crucia stands at the top of the hill, silent and unsure of herself for the first time in a very very long time. She didn't even know why she was here--why she bothered anymore. "I--" she starts to say before cutting herself off, her eyes blank as she looked forward and saw nothing--not the various offerings other had made or even the bright star that shown in the sky. "I am not one to offer foolish wishes, hopes, and dream, because I have learned the hard way those they don't exist." She licked her lips and dipped her head down, I buried that part of myself a long time ago," she finally said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I know you are gone," she continued on, her voice bland and unfeeling. "I know that you are either dead or you abandoned me. And I hope you are dead because if you are not--" Crucia stopped, hints of starting to enter her voice, emotions that she had long cut off herself from. She breathed in and closed her eyes. When she opened them, the ice blue reflected none of her thoughts anymore. As she turned and walked away, a single strand of her long blonde hair fell from her tail, curling up against the other offerings and twinkled in the starlight.

What does your character leave as an offering for the wishing star? An entire basket of canned/jammed/baked/candied foodstuffs.
Short IC Response: After doing the usual ritual of gifting the usual offerings and incantations the locals of Ceannaiche Stad village invoked to the Wishing star at the Shrine of The Traveler on Inn Property, Aisling grinned excitedly, talking to the "Captured Star" in the bowl of water she had filled, "I just want to thank you for last time, and apologize for doubting you. I gave you my prized headdress from the Seabhaidche festival, and unlike some who wished for children or friends in our Village, no children appeared before us in the morning, so I thought maybe you didn't hear us... But then you expanded our family so much in the months that followed. They're growing beautifully, and so rapidly. The Mice ones are almost adults now, since we mice have to grow up quickly but as you know not like those feral minded ones. The ones that take after Diarmaid still have a couple years left before they're adults, but are such good sprites. Our hearts are always full for more, but I just want to thank you. And safe journey, Traveler. I free you." Setting a basket of foodstuffs on the alter to the side with some of the other offerings, she gently opened the mouth of the Sebhaidache statue and poured the water down as was tradition to the natives, to release the reflection of the star from its symbolic "Captivity", and after a brief moment of reflection and bagging her bowl, she scampered back to the Inn to her children.
(OOC note: If you can, try to stick to Smaller Land Based Familiars (like Mice, Squirrels, "prairie dogs" - which can be rped as Chipmunks- songbirds/humming birds, bats, Ferrets, Lizards, and, with some rp size setting on my side Hawks and owls are options (Since I can rp them as Elf owls or Falconets which are small) since they live in the small most of the time in a land based village so lack access to enough water for a familiar to live in and not enough land for a larger familiar. IF you choose something moderate, like a rabbit, fox, wolf, condor they can live nearby but wouldn't be able to live with Aisling for long if at all (Rabbits for a short time, but they'd get too big as they grow up for the Village.)

Lahari always tells other ponies that Aros and her are “not a couple.” She claims that she’s never felt that way about him, but her words are not entirely true. It’s not hard to see that her love for Aros is more than platonic. A lingering gaze here and a blush there. She’s obviously in denial about her feelings.
Aros on the other hand, has never had eyes for any other mare. They were best friends growing up; even though their time together was often interrupted due to circumstances out of their control. They met for the first time when Nostalion brought her family to the Druid’s Dreamgrove for protection. Aros was a student training as a druid. They had a few weeks together before her family returned to the Big Oak Grove. Seasons changed many times before they would see one another again. He recognized her immediately. His heart raced to see her walk down the path. Old enough now Aros begins to court her in earnest; a kind word here and a small gift there. But to no avail.
Fate or perhaps coincidence finds Lahari and Aros both in the presence of the Wishing star tonight. Neither knows the other is present. The mare looks up at the great star and begins to speak, “Hello there...“ She stops mid sentence, lost in thought. She still doesn’t know how to express her true feelings. Unaware that anyone else is nearby, Aros draws closer and also addresses the wishing star. “Wishing star, if it isn’t too much trouble, could you grant my humble request. I’ve been in love for so long, but I don’t know what to do.” Now that he is closer, Lahari overhears him and doesn’t hesitate to listen in. Aros continues, “She’s my best friend and I’m terrified that I’m going to drive her away with my advances. I guess most just ask you for children, huh?” Lahari trots over to him, “I guess you can ask for one of those, too.” Stunned he moves his lips but words escape him. She continues, “I’ve been trying to figure things out for a while now, myself, but I know one thing for sure: your attention will never drive me away.”

A lock of Zavis' hair. Short IC Response:An unassuming dark stallion lumbers up the hills and through the forest, he stops by the edge of the clearing. There appears to be movement underneath his wing, he lifts it gently and underneath there is a mouse! The mouse stirs and climbs up his mane and perches on his nose. "Now wait there!", he says with a commanding presence for his size, anyone outside of their bond would think that the mouse was bossing around the poor wind stallion, but Zavis knew that light-hearted glint he had in his eye. The mouse puffed up his chest, Zavis lowered his head to the ground so he could go do his thing and the mouse keenly jumped off his nose with a small THUD!
He knew very well that running out into the middle of a clearing was very unsafe with owls hooting around the night skies but he missed his family so much that the ache would not go away. He had family in Zavis, Bane and their children but wanted some family with him. Watching Zavis was enough for him and the arrival of his children made the ache resonate through his whole being, he wouldn't admit it to Zavis because he is the embodiment of confidence for a stallion who needs someone to be there. He wanted to watch the children grow and had done but it was hard for him to keep up, maybe a child of his would be perfect for the family.
The mouse scampered very quickly across the clearing, he didn't want to be too long as he knew Zavis would hear a sound and equate it to a bump in the night, he made his plea swiftly, afterwards he turned to the sky and said," It must be lonely up there all on your own, huh?"
In a mad dash of joy and adrenaline, he felt like he had finally been able to express all of the pent up thoughts he had. Zavis was almost not ready for the speed at which the mouse came dashing at him. He hit his leg with a SPLAT and scrambled back up and settled into the base of his mane. "You miss me?", he asked cheekily as Zavis walked deeper into the forest and further from the star. They were going to their family, to bring stories back to the place they called their home.

Last thing he wanted was for Sato to get bored and eat him.
Zenith let out a sigh as he dropped the piece of fabric from his mouth and looked up to the stars. "I've always followed your guidance, guiding those who are lost in the darkness. I've always tried to teach those around me that the night is not to be feared but embraced. It's no different then the light but-" He trailed off and looked to the side. "On one of my guidance trips I ummm...Seemed to have gotten more then I'd ever imagined." He paused again to reflect on his situation. "A walker a PURE walker. She seems less...Murdery I suppose? She hasn't eaten me yet oddly enough." He had heard all the stories about skinwalkers. Everyone had. More so the pure skinwalkers. Yet she seemed more in control? He didn't understand. It might be better he didn't.
"I could talk all night about Sato but in the end she seems to have decided to keep me in a sense. I'm hoping by all the fates that maybe you could give her a distraction? Something better then what she sees in me? Or at least some guidance for me. I'm so lost..."
He let out a louder sigh as his blue eyes looked to the skies again. "Please help."

Relic and Psyche both leave a decent-sized, but bloody, thorn that they both used to draw blood from the other. The thorn was shed by Relic's daughter Cosette and unknowingly harvested for this occasion. A thin necklace is also left as an offering. Short IC Response:Relic and Psyche had come together. The memories had been hazy for both of them, perhaps a leftover remnant of the Blood Moon Carnival's magic, but they both believed strongly that there was a third sibling that was out there. They both could not remember any specific details such as names or appearance but the duo both could feel that something was missing: A third member to their duo that would make them complete; make them a triad.
Relic deposited the thorn on the ground while Psyche skirted the area. He felt that it was only right that it was blood that they offered to the star as it was their bloodline that they were trying to find.
Once she was sure it was safe she withdrew the mare returned and withdrew her contribution. A small, thinly crafted necklace was deposited on the ground next to the bloody thorn. Both siblings gazed upwards to the stars.
It was Psyche who took the initiative to speak. "We both feel strongly that there is another missing. We implore you to use this offering to guide them to our location. To make our family complete once more."

Setting her basket down, Muirne reached around, plucked out a few hairs from her mane, and deposited them in the basket, alongside a raven feather she'd found, and a tiny copper bell she'd found in the campgrounds at the end of the last Journey Festival.
Muirne lifted her golden eyes to the star. "I'm not sure how to do this, Wishing Star, so let's go with the classics." She closed her eyes with an almost uncharacteristic solemnity. "Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight, wish I may, wish I might, have this wish I wish tonight.
