The Uchiha Demi-God would land upon the water in the center of the lake. The water beneath his feet would slightly ripple as he used his fine chakra control to stand upon it's surface. Sanda would most likely stand upon the water before him as well. The area was surrounded by a thicket of greenery. His nine tailed cloak would fade as Kurama granted him the chakra he needed to replenish before dissipating it's visage. His crimson eyes would set upon his brother. His rinnegan transformation apparent now. " Brother...this has gone too far." His face was solemn as he kept a stern expression. " Nothing here furthers your goals." He hoped to deter his brother's immenent devastation of the village if he simply played to his own interests....it was a long shot..but worth attempting. He glanced over his shoulder, sensing the presence of an approaching familiar presence.

Their similar choice of martial arts attire and shaggy black hair might be deceiving Tetsuhiko, but he had a suspicion. It was clear to him that these two were in cahoots. He channeled chakra into his puppet feet and allowed his boots to float on the water's surface. He walked across the lake and stood in front of Masato and Sandayu. The puppet man appeared blank in his doll expression before he pantomimed inhaling deeply in frustration. "Masato, what's happening?" He asked with a tone that was surprisingly flat for the theatrical and flamboyant Hanzo prince.

__ Sandayu was frowning a little by the time Masato got around to dismissing his comrade from the situation. The mechanics of Tetsuhiko's form actually earned a thought of praise for aspiring toward the Asura Path's power, but it was ultimately just a cheap mockery at best. His gaze moved back to Masato and continued the conversation regardless of Tetsuhiko's presence, "If all you are concerned about is your friends' safety then I suggest you go save them from the inevitable. I will not be stopped by such weak, misdirected passion." To turn that one rare moment of respect Sandayu had for his brother into an argumentative tool was nearly infuriating. He pointed at his brother, letting a brief flare of chakra only warn Masato that a jutsu was likely utilized, before adding, "I warned you that even this village would not be spared from my ambition. What part of that didn't make any sense to you, brother?" Sandayu lowered his hand again and finished by saying, "Decide what you want to do with your power, and decide quickly. If you just want to protect people then keep them out of my way. There is nothing else to say." He was done with this topic. Either Masato stepped aside or he could try to stand in his way. There was nothing that he feared enough to cease the march toward his destiny.

__ Tetsuhiko's suspicions were confirmed that Masato and this guy were brothers. What made this even more disturbing was that they were discussing the absolute destruction of the entire village. Masato was against it which was encouraging to Tetsuhiko. He watched as the argument unfolded from the sidelines. For once Tetsuhiko was the audience to a great performance. Masato's pleading with his brother was unfortunate to see. It did not seem likely to Tetsuhiko that Masato would turn on family so easily. He knew that Masato had an advanced level of power and that power in the ninja world tended to run in families. As a Sunagakure nobleman with the legendary iron sand, he knew that much. He knew that Masato told him to leave and normally he would, but he felt as though it was time to stop running for once. His family and home were gone, he had nothing left to lose. Even in his endless search for immortality, Tetsuhiko knew that it was time to let go. In truth, he died the moment he had forsaken his humanity in his own arrogance. "Listen to your brother, Masato. Go protect everyone else and tell them that I said to see the beauty in all things, even mortality." The puppet body said as he looked over at Masato with a pained look on his overly expressive doll face. He then looked at Sandayu and mustered as much bravery as possible. "It looks like this is my final curtain call." Suddenly, a potent magnetic field formed over the entire caldera and lifted Tetsuhiko.
A massive scroll unraveled above his head and dozens of metal puppets flew from out of the scroll. They were wrapped in elegant indigo robes and one hundred chakra threads appeared from out of Tetsuhiko's fingers. They all attached to the massive show of marionettes as he looked down upon Sandayu. "I'm Tetsuhiko Hanzo, the greatest shinobi artist who has ever lived and you're invited to participate in the grandest performance on Earth!" His old personality appeared to shine through even despite his trepidation and fear. He saw his inevitable end before him in Sandayu's form. For once, the arrogant prince accepted that he would likely be vanquished, but he was alright with that for this act was how he wanted to leave his mark on the world. Suddenly, a massive amount of iron sand would appear from Tetsuhiko's seals and formed a fist shape to grab Sandayu and restrain him. At the same time, ten puppets would fly forward and they all held spear and sharp polearm type weapons. Their goal was to impale Sandayu from all directions should he avoid the fist of ebony sand. The rest of the army remained in the air with Tetsuhiko and cast a long shadow. All the while, Tetsuhiko pulled the strings as the puppet master for the ten marionettes who were in movement.

Masato grimaced as his brother clearly became angry. His Rinnebyakusharingan would detect the flare of chakra that signified his technique activation. He could not sense any hidden attacks lying in wait so he had to assume that it was a dormant or augmenting affect. " Not understanding my passion does not make it misdirected." He knew deep within that with his strength that was obtained by his passion geared towards his friends, towards their peace...he was set free by accepting their weakness as fuel for his strength.
Before he could speak on the matter, not knowing that Sandayu had seen it all through his technique Tetsuhiko would speak up. He wanted Masato to go. Go and save everyone he could. He watched as Tetsuhiko began the attack on his brother. He knew it was unlikely he'd come close but Masato had to admire his bravery in the situation. He paused...knowing that Tetsuhiko would die. "Damn it..." he said under his breath. Tetsuhiko was right. He would be able to save so many if he just abandoned this fight....if he walked away and let one die. ' Damn it... I can save hundreds against his single life. ' He stepped back, allowing his demon cloak to embody it's final transformation as he dawned the golden chakra cloak. He took a single step away as he hesitated one last second. " Do your best... I'll do what I can." he looked towards the location that the puppets would be assaulting Sandayu. " Today won't be a victory for either of us." His heart was heavy. He had longed for a better relationship with his brother. If only their lives didn't contradict one another so drastically. If only they had not been seperated when Sandayu went through his suffering. Maybe they wouldn't be enemies then. With a sigh he vanished in a blur, leaving a mist scattering upon the water.

__ Somber disappointment was a feeling the two brothers could convey toward each other through their eyes alone. Sandayu knew why his older brother was troubled by his actions, but that didn't cause him to waver in the slightest. He wondered if his brother understood his side of their shared frustration. That would go unanswered as Masato chose to allow his comrade stand in to fight him while he went to play hero. "We shall see..." Sanda mumbled as his Byakugan's broad field of view tracked the movements of Tetsuhiko's large number of puppets. "Tetsuhiko Hanzo..." He signed the name of foolishly courageous warrior standing before him. Sandayu's left hand was raised to his waist's height as dense, abyssal black sphere took form and began to rapidly grow suspended just about a foot over his upturned palm, "I am Sandayu of the Iga Clan, son of goddess Evergreen." It was only right to return an introduction as the puppet master shinobi began his attack.
It would appear that Sandayu was enclosed within the metal hand without much struggle. The longarm-weilding puppets would also drive their blades through the hand with intent to impale the demigod from all sides. Several anxious moments ensued before the hand and those ten puppets would be the first to succumb to the massive gravitational force of Deva Path's Chibaku Tensei skill. The miniature almost-black hole construct would ascend higher into the sky toward the rest of the puppets Tetsuhiko had on standby with himself and strike everything within one-hundred and sixty feet of itself with an intense gravitational force of attraction. Lake water, rocks, sunken ships, and more was drawn toward it as it rapidly turned into a giant satellite, much like a miniature Earth. If Tetsuhiko, or any of his puppets, failed to evade they would find themselves stuck to that floating satellite which was prepped to come crashing back down into what was left of the lake afterward. Any puppets caught in any of this attack were guaranteed to be rendered nonfunctional. Sandayu remained in his intangible Kamui state while he watched to see how capable this brave yet foolish showboater was. Three Truth-Seeking Orbs continued to hover statically behind him in an even triangular formation.

__ When the black iron fist caught Sandayu he smirked. It was then that a black moon sucked up the ten polearm wielding puppets who attacked Sandayu. Immediately, Tetsuhiko applied an immense amount of chakra in an iron sand assault of the powerful suction force in the air. The black hole dissipated when it was hit and the iron sand canceled out as well. Sandayu would see the grains of iron sand uselessly falling down upon him. Tetsuhiko appreciated the beautiful nature of the thousands of grains of iron sand glimmering in the open air. "Looks like it's getting sandy out here for you, Sandy!" Tetsuhiko then laughed haughtily at his pun and jab at Sandayu's name. The drama of this scene should be buttressed with comedy for an all-encompassing production. "Don't you have anything more beautiful that you can throw at me?! Where's your sense of showmanship?!" He appeared completely confident of the show as it unfolded. Tetsuhiko knew that this was all pointless, but if this were to be his last show then it would have to really rock the world. He then theatrically conducted his puppets by moving his arms around quickly. They all split up into clumps of roughly twenty over the area surrounding Sandayu and himself with ten at Tetsuhiko's side in case he needed defenses. He wanted to set the stage better so that all of his actors would not be wiped out in one place. Tetsuhiko then flexed the iron fist in the hopes of crushing him. Meanwhile, a group of twenty medium blade weapon wielding puppets in his army flew toward Sandayu. He could hear the pulling of strings and the rattling of joints as they all slashed toward him from all directions should he choose to somehow evade the iron fist.

__ A strong magnetic force was set upon the gravitational focal point, but it would prove to only be enough to slow it before it followed its intended path. Tetsu would have enough time to reposition himself and his puppets; however, the much lake and much of the surrounding landscape were quickly brought into itself only to hang high in the air like a protective shell around its core. The theatrical bluster coming from this mechanical man rolled off of Sandayu's shoulders with hardly any more impact than if Belamos were to spout off at him too. "Hmph." Sanda scoffed apologetically as the massive hunk of rock, water, and other debris was sent on a collision course with Tetsuhiko while a new immense gravitational force was set upon him and the Chibaku Tensei, attracting the two to each other. If not evaded, Tetsuhiko would be helplessly crushed under the falling mass as it crashed back down. As the iron fist had also been dealt with already he'd cease his intangibility for now to deal with the twenty puppets sent his way this time. Two of the Truth Seeking Orbs hovering behind him were called into action as they shifted their forms into bladed, spherical grinders which would intercept the threat. Without reinforcing those puppets, none of them would survive the impact of the Orbs crashing through them.

Moriko was exhausted. She had been walking for what felt like forever. She stumbled upon a piece of land that somewhat resembled part of a lake, or what perhaps was a lake once upon a time. Moriko figured she could use a break, and sat next to a nearby tree. She winced, taking her sandals off to reveal several painful blisters. Rai, her lion companion, gave a worried look as he licked her cheek. Moriko smiled."Its okay, boy, just might need to rest here a while." She grabbed her journal and began to write. Day 635 of my journey. No sign of anyone resembling my brothers anywhere. Starting to doubt if they're even alive. Moriko took 2 old, torn-up, black and white photographs out of her pocket. These photographs were extremely dated. She was going off almost nothing to guide her in her journey. She continued to write. I feel like I've been everywhere. I don't have a map, but the blisters and calluses on my feet are telling me I've traveled many miles. Perhaps we'll rest next to this tree for the time being. Maybe we need to regroup, think of a new strategy.
Rai rested his paw on Moriko's lap. Moriko was grateful to have such a loyal companion. Really, he was all she had. Just as she was about to close her eyes for the night, Moriko heard a loud noise in the distance. It sounded like some sort of landfall, or a large amount of rock falling. She strapped her sandals back on. "Come on, Rai. Let's go check it out." The lion nodded his head, and they began to walk towards the sound.

__ Tetsuhiko felt the force beginning to encroach on him. These were abilities that Tetsuhiko was certainly not familiar with. It is good that it is just a normal bloodline. Immediately, he manipulated his iron sand to form a chakra reinforced sphere around him that would resist the gravitational forces and keep him in the same position. He then opened the front of the sphere shell that was protecting him to see and use a puppet string to grapple the bladed ball that was en route to his puppets that were on the offense against Sandayu. Once his strings made contact he was able to manipulate the orb. He used his thread to manipulate it into attacking its creator instead while the twenty marionettes would all continue their course and then attack Sandayu with their swords. Some of his chakra strings were still attached to the orb while it attacked Sandayu. If it was not avoided or if he did not regain control of it in some way then he would face severe injuries from it as well as from the squadron of puppets who continued their assault.

__ The Chibaku Tensei would crash into the lake nearby and cause a large wave to rise up and knock several of the oncoming puppets off course while the hijacked Truth-Seeking Orb continued. The giant wave would continue to flow outwardly toward the shore as well, putting the curious new arrival in danger too. A raise of his hand toward the orb controlled it to shed the controlling and other lingering chakra threads with new sets of grown blades before it regained it's smooth round shape. Just before the rest of the puppets could arrive to attempt to impale him Sandayu blinked out of sight to reappear behind Tetsuhiko and his spherical sand shield. "Begone." Was all that Sanda uttered as he unleashed an excessively powered pair of attractive and repellent forces on his inorganic body. The attractive force would be focused on what looked like Tetsuhiko's main power supply, and it would fall right into Sandayu's outreaching hand. Meanwhile the repellent force would throw him out of the opening of his sand shield. From the looks of it, Tetsuhiko hardly had the strength left to resist this gambit, but he wouldn't be underestimated just in case any unpleasant surprises came about. If all went according to plan, he'd have the artist's heart in his hand while Tetsuhiko's body sunk into the lake's depths.

__ Tetsuhiko closed his eyes as the forces pressed against his body and the living core was beginning to be removed. He held his arms out and tilted his head upward in submission but would not speak. Even in the midst of sounds of water collisions and general disaster, there was complete silence. He had no family left from the disaster of Sunagakure. His first memory of performing in front of his parents in the living room of the Tetsushiro manor felt as if it was manifesting before him all over again. Moments that he had already lived were appearing in front of him. In his memories of humanity, his eyes could well with tears and at that point what was it all but luminous? Feeling the spectrum of human emotion and expressing it as a human with all the pain and the decay and the suffering that came with it. Immortality and forsaking humanity was his first death, so why fear this one? After all, every grand performance must end eventually. In his memories, he saw Bastet Miyamoto sitting across from him drinking tea and holding back her disgust with his sugar consumption as that would feel like a defeat in some way. Playing the piano with Taylor sitting next to him during the genin tourney appeared before him as well. Every moment that he performed and made people smile appeared to him as a collage of memories rather than one after another. The scorpion exterminations with Zhi and Hikaru appeared to him as well. He could smell the decay in that place even when he lost the sensation of scent. When Sunagakure died his humanity died with it when he sacrificed himself to his art. He thought that he could cheat time and make himself into the art form that he was dedicated to. However, to make art one must not become the piece but gain separation from the art while simultaneously allowing it to become a part of itself. Not allowing the art to consume him but by joining the art with the human soul. This was the mistake that he made. When he saw his group of friends sparring in the open Sunagakure training grounds until it was ended by Zhi's sonic arrow he smiled. Despite what was happening to his artificial body his radiant smile defied it. Tetsuhiko saw Sadayo and remembered the escalation in his heart rate from meeting another spectacular artist. He then remembered dedicating himself to her at the beginning of the tournament. Suddenly, the luminous quality of life, art, and beauty was fading but not into darkness. There was a blankness that he was willing to accept because in this very moment he felt more alive than when he cursed himself to a permanent state of purgatory between life and death. Hopefully, all the creations that he put into the world would allow people to live more fully and more beautifully than if Tetsuhiko Hanzo were never here at all. His marionette body fell into the water on his back. It was like a lifeless brick that hit the water with a massive flat thunk and no resistance. Once the canister that contained the core of his life was destroyed in kind the body continued to sink, but the pleasant smile remained. The artist was now at rest.
