Adam hissed as the cane struck his legs. "Man, that's some power!" he thought. His leg pained him as he brushed it off as best he could. "Ain't no way it should've hurt like that." he thought to himself. The sound the cane made itself would make someone cringe. Inbetween strikes the teacher reminded him that this was only practice. She was right. He let emotions get ahead of him which is very rare. He took a breath and calmed down before letting his hair down from the band. He took a deep breath and his flashed his trademark smile. Adam readied himself to attack his teacher again and was interrupted by pain in his legs. He winced as he fought falling to one knee and looked to the source of his chagrin. "Snakes...why did it have to be snakes?" he asked himself. If he wasn't so irritated and kept a cooler head this may not have happened. Then again, it's, what he assumed, was his instructors snakes so they were more than likely properly trained.

He felt his legs wobble a bit and instantly recognized it as some type of poison. "Well, she ain't killin' me without problems of her own from the guy up top, so it's gotta be something that'll knock me or stiff me." he thought. Since he didn't feel himself getting tired he leaned towards the latter. He made sure he still had decent control over his legs before making his decision. "I'm gonna go down either way, but I'm still gonna find out if my semblance works on the blind." he said to himself. This time he walked towards the teacher with a clear mind and no intent to harm. He cracked his knuckles and smiled. "A'ight. Sorry teach. I won't go for the head I'll only got for body shots. Ya hit hard and I respect that." he nodded. "I just gotta give you a few more love taps and them my semblance is in play." he said readying himself. "Good?" he asked for acknowledgement. As he got in his stance he felt the ground shake a bit. Still prepping for a punch he looked over to the source.

"Crap." he said as he saw Tessa coming at him with an... earth spear? He'd love to fight her, but he his time was limited and he had to finish his assignment. He looked to his teacher and spoke once more. "I'm positive I'm gonna be out for a minute so about three more hits should do it. I'm gonna aim for your body, but I'll make them hard because of Narx's assignment." he said. He stood shoulder width apart and threw a strong straight to the teachers gut. Twisting his arm and rotating his hips making the punch as strong as possible. He held his left arm tight to his body protecting his chin bringing out as much power in his back as possible. He threw another four punches just like that to make sure his semblance activated.

If everything connected, his eyes would flash a stormy grey and a quick flash of grey aura would surround the teacher and dissipate in an instant. He turned his attention to Tessa and held his hands up in defense. "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa, babygirl! I don't don't think this is the best time for our tussle.[/b]" he said bringing his arms down. "Like I said I'd love to fight you, but I don't think the time is now." he smiled. "Ya mind putting the spear down?" he asked moving it to the side with his finger with a nervous smile. He felt his legs shake and they were a bit numb. "I think I'm gonna rest my legs a bit. All that jumpin' and bumpin' around made me a bit ti-red." he smiled. He didn't want to tell anyone that he was poisoned by the teacher because he didn't want his team or anyone worrying about him. He took a seat on one of the bottom rows and looked to his teacher. He waved his arms around to see if she could 'see' him. "Yo, teach!" he kept waving. "Picking up anything on the radar?" he asked.

Richard would take the little compliment from Asgar with a soft sleek smile. Usually he didn't much care for praise. Though once in awhile he had to take it in. Helped him fuel up his own confidence a bit. His attention got put to Danae as she spoke up about hitting her. The girl had tears dropping from her eyes. It seemed like she was in so much pain. He figured that she was using her semblance. The young hunter would walk right up to her. Staring down at the owl faunus his glare was stoic and unmoving. Slowly he would raise his arm and flattened his hand. There was a moment of hesitation as he seemed to contemplate her request. Quickly his hand would come back down towards her head. However it stopped in front of her face. One finger and out and slightly nudged the owl's forehead. He lowered himself to her left. "You are better then this. Bare with it and you will soon be able to stand up to anything." He would say with his voice volume lowered down. While it was meant to encourage her a bit, it probably didn't help the pain at all. Though he wouldn't dare hit her in a situation like this. Not the type of man to strike down a person not deserving of it, even if they were literally asking for it. Actually those words echoed into his head a bit, '...to stand up against anything...' It actually gave him an idea. Getting up he would close his eyes to started channeling his semblance back into his own clothing. While they were still coated in the first place, he tried to put more into it. Make the density of the coating more potent in a sense. Though it was easier said then done as he was never the best at controlling his aura.

He had to admit that the first kick the teacher allowed to hit was rough. The teacher's body would respond to the kick's force, but she would feel only an instance of pain as it would be immediately absorbed by Narx's semblance. His aura shimmered in the exact location where the teacher was hit. Showing that his semblance was active. Narx winced, but now that he was braced he would take it much easier.
"That can't be all you have prince! Get kickin-" He stopped in the middle of his sentence as Ridley's semblance was activated. "Guuuahhh!"
He groaned as veins popped on the side of his head. The slashing of grimm talons ripped through him. And then again. And again. It just kept coming. He opened one eye to look at Ridley's gross face. Her face was torn with the same pain. She really did have to relive it to a certain extent herself then didn't she. His body shook as the pain ripped through him again. The teacher would be feeling nothing at this point.

Part of him also could sense the other pain in the room. Particularly Danaë's pain. He could fix it. He could take it all away, but he knew that he wasn't supposed to. It was part of his training. He twisted towards her though and watched her. Danaë had her brother and Richard around her for support. Why couldn't he be there to help her? This was- Another slash of pain. He grunted as his jaw shook. It wasn't something he couldn't take, but it was definitely top tier pain. If this went on for too much longer he would probably collapse to his knees.

Narx's face twisted each time a slash of pain ripped through him. He still kept a firm hold on Kail's shoulders and followed her movements.
"C'mon Princess! Don't you have worse pain?!" He shouted at her a bit louder than he meant to. He was in pain so anything he said was probably excusable at this point. He had healed many wounds. A simple slash from a grimm was only superficial. He hoped she had at least one more trick up her sleeve, or that Adam or someone else could toss in one more thing."Teach, if you keep dodging his moves I won't be able to absorb it! Let him hit and then utilize the fact you won't feel it to your advantage. That is how you fight with my semblance!" He suggested to her. Not that he expected her to take it. She was a teacher. Much stronger and wiser than any of them he would think. He would let her do her own thing no matter what.

Narx couldn't help but keep turning to look back at his lovely feathered friend. feathered girlfriend to be accurate. He would take away any lingering pain if he could after this ordeal.

It was made apparent that her semblance was effective when Narx cut his taunt off midsentence before letting out an audible groan. It was probably wrong to feel that bit of self-satisfaction, small as it might be. It wasn't that she enjoyed putting Narx in pain, but after the way he had poked and prodded at her pride, it was a victory for her. A small one, but a victory all the same. He had spoke about her semblance being ineffective, she had proven him wrong. Still, as wrong as that might sound, it wasn't like he was alone in this. To put him in such immense pain, she had to relive it all herself. Not just the pain, but the memories. Even worse so was the consequences she knew she was bound to face. The point of this lesson was to drain her aura, to push past her every limit. Ridley knew the process of that, and it was a dire one. It would open up old scars, inflict the injuries that she was making him feel mentally on herself, physically. She would have no aura left to protect her from it or heal the aftermath which would mean she would need medical attention. Unless Narx still had aura left at the end of this. That in mind, she wasn't about to hold back now and she didn't seem worried about it. Professor Schuer seemed like an intelligent woman, surely she knew what was bound to happen to Ridley which meant she would be prepared for it when it happened.

Feeling his eyes on her, golden orbs traveled to meet his gaze. She was looking at him, but her focus was still on Kail, continuing to force her pain through her. She attempted to smirk through the pain, but it came off as more of a grimace, between her creased forehead and furrowed brows. It lasted but a few moments before there was another person tugging at her attention. Sighing heavily as the large faunus girl approached, a flash of anger sparked in her golden eyes. Turning her head towards her, she gave her a look that said nothing less than 'seriously'? Ridley looked agitated again, that wasn't unusual. What was more confusing was that she wasn't sure if she was frustrated more over the fact that Tessa seemed ready to randomly fight anyone she felt fit without regard to how anyone else felt on the subject, or because she seemed so content on targeting Adam. "Could you just not?" She breathed between gritted teeth. Not only was she working through the pain, but most of her focus was still on Kail, channelling her semblance through her to keep it constant. "If you haven't noticed we're a bit busy. I think your spar can wait." It was clear that she didn't much approve of the fight in the first place, but even clearer that she would not hesitate to step in were she to ignore her warnings and attack Adam anyways.

It was at that moment that Adam jumped in with his own objections. As always, he was much more polite than she was. He dismissed the situation quickly before explaining that he was tired and needed to sit down for a moment. Her eyes were furrowed in concentration, her forehead still creased, but this time it was concern creeping into her expression as her golden eyes shot towards Adam. Her gaze flickered over his form for a brief moment, looking for any obvious signs of harm. He looked intact as far as she could tell, but the smile wasn't quite enought to fool her completely. She could see through it and it was entirely too Adam to do such a thing to keep anyone from worrying. She trusted that the teacher wouldn't let any real harm come to her students, at least none that couldn't be fixed. That would have to be enough for now. Sighing softly she returned her gaze to Tessa for a brief moment, giving her another warning look. Ridley had the ability to inflict pain on more than one person simultaneously and if she made a move towards Adam while he was down, she would not hesitate. Tessa wouldn't have Narx's protection either, at least not initially. Ridley wasn't necessarily a bad person, but she would not hesitate to protect those she cared about, no matter the cost.

There is was again, with his taunts and that annoying little pet name he seemed to be sticking with. "Are you always this obnoxious or is this just special treatment?" She questioned, once again caught between frustration and amusement. "Just remember you asked for it." She said, flashing a smirk as she shrugged her shoulders. There were many different types of pain Ridley could show him, some of which might raise questions she didn't quite feel like answering, least of all to him. At this point she didn't even care. This was her a assignment and if he did have the nerve to ask questions later, she had no obligation to answer them. The pain of the beowolf claws slashing through her skin like ribbons would relent for but a moment. There would be no time to breath or recover before a deep, searing sensation would shoot through Kail's back for but the briefest of moments before Narx's semblance would absorb it and he would feel it himself. This one was all to real for Ridley. She could remember all to vividly the smell of her own burning flesh, the sound of her own skin sizzling. She actually visibly gagged at the memory. It had been pure agony as the white-hot cattle prod melted and bubbled through layer upon layer of skin. This pain was more localized, no bigger than that of an iron right on the small of her back, but it was none the less relentless or excruciating.

                                                  ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

XXXPerhaps it wasn't the best idea, bringing up the past like that. She could feel it, a pang in his heart nearly identical to her own. A pang that turned into a hole, that couldn't quite be filled. While Cali's gaze would soften, she would still offer such a sweet smile to match his own... Her smile always seemed to make him feel better, just as his had done for her. It was always hard for Cali to fake a smile, being so bad at faking emotions as a whole. But so long as Eli had that signature grin, that sly smirk, or the simplest smile of happiness, she could always return the favor to lift his spirits. It happened often, their blue and brown hues locking together while smiling so warmly in a heart to heart moment. "I mean, was it..? You have such a thing for nose boops though... Should I be worried?" Even in his mock surrender, she would mimic it by 'shuddering' in fear. It was all in good fun, and most definitely a poke of fun at him. How would that feel, though? ... Hopefully, she didn't have any nose hairs. A smile would remain on her face as he continued on his tangent of being locked away. He made a good point, and it was an obvious hole in her logic that she wasn't quite expecting. Her smile had even faltered for a moment, but a recovery was in progress. Eyes would begin to shift back and forth as she raised her finger to her lips, making a hushing sound as she leaned towards him. "Well you're not supposed to admit to that, ya dingus. What if the guards here you? So shush." She would then crack a grin after his playful wink. Though separation was truly the last thing she could ever want. ... In fact, that came from experience. There was one time that they had spent together in a cage, and... If the two had been separated, or if only one of them had been taken away... There was no way they would've made it out of there. Even in his independence, and her dependability, they were still two pieces of a functioning unit. Perhaps he could manage without her, but the two had become such intricate gears that they truly had optimal functionality as one in the same. .. Where alone, she would surely crumble to her how pestilence.

Eli felt so far away, her eyes gazing towards him with something much akin to a thousand yard stare. Sparks here, zaps there, the light show was truly wonderful... But she wanted his attention now, he had to see... She wanted him to see her without her curse, though he always had. Eli had such a way to make her feel almost normal, that she wasn't cursed... That she wasn't a monster. He always went the extra mile to make sure she could feel normal, just like any other girl in the world. Such a sweetheart, a kind spirit, a protector and a gentleman. Even looking upon her from a distance, he could tell something was off and didn't hesitate to come to her aid. His body language said it all. The swift motions, the shifting eyes... He had misunderstood her call and was ready to protect her from anyone that had bullied her. It was an expression she had known all too well over the years, as he always came to her rescue when the other kids came to 'play.' She was used to such an expression and could see the change at the drop of a time. Any girl would've been lucky to have him. Perhaps that was the world paying her back for giving her such a curse, but... What had he done to deserve such a punishment? ... Maybe it wasn't meant to be a punishment for him anymore... Once it all clicked into place, he didn't hesitate at all. He became a blur from point a, to her side and down on his knees. That's when she felt it, his palm caressing against her cheek. His touch was warm, his palm was coarse. Surely it wouldn't have been the softest, following the years of abuse he had suffered from prior contact with her. His skin must've hated her, and all that she put it through. ... Even so. If his skin was sandpaper or scales, it wouldn't have mattered. A faint coarse only added to the texture, something that she could actually feel. It was his touch, unhindered and unphased by any sense of pain or decay. It had not dried, rotted, or bled. It was simply there, resting against her cheek.

His touch, raw and unhindered, was all she could want. Every day she longed for the moment that they could feel each other, without pain or rashes, itchiness or zapping. If even for just a moment. Surely they had their naps, where her pestilence would slumber with her and she could rest soundly in the comfort of his arms. It was such a fickle thing though. She couldn't consciously enjoy his presence. She couldn't attentively caress his skin and play with his hair. No, or else he might crumble between her fingers. all she could do was sleep soundly in the safe haven as she claimed that was his arms. It was wondrous, yes, but it wasn't... This... It wasn't anything like this moment, where they could gaze endlessly into their sandy and electric voids as if they found the answer to life itself. This had truly been one of the, if not most important moments in their lives. The first step that truly showed that they could end her curse. "I.. I can't believe it... Eli..." She would murmur, simply trying to fathom all that was happening. It was something that she could only compare to her wildest dreams, and her heart was soaring at such a tangent.

She couldn't take her eyes off him, their gazes interlocked as the sounds of the class dimmed around them. ... It all happened so fast but took so many years to build up. He had the sweetest grin. One that said 'I told you so,' while also commending her 'you really did it.' A mix of teasing and pride, but... There was something else. Something much warmer, that seemed to radiate from his being as a blazing inferno. It would only take a couple blinks. Each time she opened her eyes, his face was close to hers. Before she could even think, her eyes would widen. It was startling at first, feeling such soft, though slightly chapped and gentle lips brush against her own. Such a state of shock wouldn't last, as her lips melted against his own while aching to push back. Her eyes would flutter shut, and her fingers would crawl to his own cheek. His wasn't quite as soft, running coarse either due to his masculine nature or any potential stubble that tried poking through. Her fingers would curl into his cheek, just barely hanging on. It was funny, she thought. After spending so many years together, watching studying his every detail, learning his every quirk... Watching his lips from afar as he smiled and laughed, she would've been prepared for just how stimulating they were; gentle and firm. Not to mention the faintest taste of mint, which in an odd way complimented the woodsy musk that she could smell from him. It was Eli, through and through. It was silly to try and say she didn't know she wanted this, for him as well. It had come time and time again, in their playful teasing, or truly tender and heartfelt moments. Longing for one another in a way they could never truly have, until this very moment. Sure, the words had never been spoken. .. It never really needed to be, it just flowed together so naturally. They could tell by the way they talked and laughed together. The way they cried and comforted each other. From the highest of highs, such as this very moment. To the lowest of lows, when they lost everything. They could feel it with every fiber of their being, in the core of their souls. They loved each other, and this moment was their own. A true moment of bliss, with only a second of tranquility.

It had all happened so perfectly, and the moment had come to pass. Truly, she wanted more and didn't want to feel his lips break away from her own. It couldn't have been more perfect, though. As he pulled away, her hand would fall limply into her lap while her face flushed with the deepest shade she had ever turned. Her face was on fire, surely burning hotter than the sun itself. In her vivid colored display, she'd pull in a sharp breath... After all, he had stolen hers so effortlessly. You're.. gonna get us in trouble... You know that, right?" Now she was huffed and flustered, finding herself rapidly mulling over the thoughts of if someone else had seen them, it had made her dizzy. Fortunately, the teacher couldn't. A small blessing of this class. Despite her voiced concern, she wore the cutest smile that represented her shyness, embarrassment, and happiness to a T. Her brown eyes locked with his blue, while her fingers began to fidget nervously by thumping against her thigh. Slowly, the decay had begun to creep back in... The process was weaker than usual, but it was there. Cali could feel it p***k at her thighs, and Eli was sure to feel it against his palm in their solemn gaze. Even as it crept in, it didn't phase the girl. "You were right... You were always right.. and I.. I couldn't do it without you.. Eli.." None of this would've been possible without him. From the moment he took her hand, he had truly been the single pillar of support that carried her through the past decade... As she tried to do for him. Every up and down, he had always perked her up and told her it would be okay. It would get better, and that she could do it... She never believed him. She never once believed that the decay was something that could be controlled and that one day, inevitably, it would consume one of them. Until this day. He had been right all along. His hope, his positivity, his belief, and his love.. It had all been building to this moment, where she could finally hold the faintest hope that she would get better, just as he always had. There was no point in beating around it any longer. .. I lo--" If only she could finish her proclamation of love. Instead, though, reality had different plans for the couple. The splintering crack of wood snapped beneath Cali, her eyes shooting open in surprise. In their moment, their truly special moment... The fiend that plagued their lives seemed to creep back in, just in time to try and ruin their heart to heart moment. As the chair crack, Cali's frame would very sharply drop an inch, before a second crack snapped and Cali's body would drop the floor without hesitance. For her, it was a cheesy slow-motion moment. Her frame had begun falling back, their gazes falling further and further apart... And she could no longer feel the kiss of his breath against her lips. "--ve you.." Her words had fallen to a despondent whisper as reality took hold once again. Unless her guardian angel whisked her to safety in that second, she would fall to the ground with a horribly loud thud as the pieces of wood that were the legs would rattle against the ground.

Danaë would close her eyes, waiting for the pain to stop. She had to exhaust herself, but she didn't think the teacher meant for her to be in pain. The cracks of the whip, where jolting, the buzzing from electricity, the splintering of wood. It was too much. As much as she loved her boyfriend, his voice was too loud. He had always been loud, but it was leaving her ears ringing. She could hear the pain that he was in. They were both in pain, and she hated it. Then, her semblance would fade again, leaving Danae exhausted.

She would slowly sit up, pulling her knees to her chest. She would lay her head on her brother's lap. Her eyes closed. She didn't know how much longer she could go on. She was ready to fail this class, if it meant she wasn't in pain anymore. She just wanted to sleep at this point.

She would take a deep breathe. She had never gone this long in a row with her semblence, normally her semblence had time to recharge, however, she was tired. She was so tired she didn't even reprimand Richard for touching her the way he had been given permission. "If I do it one more time, you can't hit anything...it hurts my ears...." She would then reactivate her semblence. Her light brown aura going out for a moment, almost quivering as she tried to push it as far as she normally did. Her head was starting to hurt again, and this time, she didn't think it was from the noise in the room...

Kail would hear the rabbit start to freak out about her snakes. She would chuckle, even though she was in the middle of a fight. She would hear Narx telling her to let her get hit by Adam. "Forgive me if I wissssh to not have my facccce and head injured, desssspite your healing capibilitiesss." She would head the two students going back and forth with banter. It seems a 'friendly' relationship was blooming! By friendly she meant a rivalry. She was happy to have helped a bit, but the tussle from before might have actually done that.

She would nod towards Adam. This was a mock battle, to see the extent of what his semblence could do to people that use other senses. All of the teachers at Signal had the capabilities that Kail herself did not have. They all had sight. When the last punch hit her, she would feel pain for a moment, before it would be channeled to Narx. Considering the taste that she had gotten, he had a higher than average pain tolerance, interesting.

She would then hear one of her snakes bite Adam. She couldn't help but go call the two snakes on the ground over. She had told them to strike, but not with poison. She would go over to them, and with a command, Marcus would go back into his bag. She would open both bags, and fine only a vial in one of them. She didn't care if Narx followed her. Her snake's vemon could be deadly if untreated. She would go over to Adam, and a syringe. She would hold it out in front of her. "I need someone to inject Adam with this, now." Her voice was urgent. Her eyes, still staring blankly ahead

Blue eyes studied Richard as he stepped towards his sister, watching the guy with both curiosity and interest, still waiting to see just what option he picked in a situation as complicated as this. If he did choose to hit Danae, it wouldn'r be easy for Asger to watch. The falcon boy was not a particularly violent person and he liked to think he was quite reasonable in most cases. However, his personality took a bit of a turn when it came to his sister's safety. He'd always done his very best to protect her. He'd gone as far as rerouting his entire career path to prevent another situation such as the grim attack she'd been victim to at such a young age. Normally he would not hesitate to stand up to anyone who dared raise a hand to his sister, but these couldn't quite be considered normal circumstances. Danae had asked for Richard to her, taking on one type of pain in order to rid herself of another. If Richard did chose to do such a thing, Asger would just have to stand by, no matter how much he disliked it.

He watched as Richard rose his hand, meanwhile his feathers had stalled in the air. His focus was else where for now which left them to float harmlessly above their heads. The man's hand sliced quickly through the air towards Danae's face, but it stopped short. Rather than a punch, she received a soft poke to the forehead and words that he knew were supposed to be encouraging even if they sounded harsh. He had a good point though. "He's right, you know." He said, nodding towards Richard before his gaze traveled to his younger sister. The feathered girl might be in too much pain to appreciate it currently, but he hoped the knowledge would stick with her and she'd be able to absorb it at a later time. Perhaps when she reflected back on the class. "Taking the easy way out won't ever get you anywhere... it won't prepare you for what's really out there. Trust me." He added on after a moment. He'd made such mistakes in and it had cost him greatly. His cerulean gaze bore down into her sandy hues with an overwhelming amount of faith and certainty. She may have been his younger sister, but there would always he a part of him that looked up to her, admired her. "You can do this."

A moment later and her head had found it's way onto his lap. He hated seeing her like this and surely he would have taken away her pain in a heartbeat if he could have. He would have bore it all for her. That just wasn't an option, but as horrible as it was, it would only prepare her. Leave her stronger and with a bit more experience under her belt. Asger reached down, fingers gentle as they brushed across her forehead and through her air. The motion was quick, but none the less comforting, or at least that had been his intention. "You're strong, Danae, get through this and you'll only be stronger." He knew she couldn't have too much longer left. Already she looked exhausted and he could feel himself reaching his own limits as well. He wouldn't he able to keep them in the air much longer, so he figured he better take advantage of the time he had left and get as much out of the lessons as he could. His feathers had been levitating I nthe air, completely still, but in the blink of an eye they were on the move again, whizzing quickly and quietly through the air.

Could she even do this? He was the one with the ability to just change weapons with ease, it would take only one of them to not be able to beat and she would be screwed. And Sakura certainly didn't like to lose. Ties were okay. Losing? Not an option. And she swore if this is how she died then she would never be able to forgive herself. If he was using weapons then so would she. Sakura pulled on the belt that she had wrapped around her uniform but a belt it was not. It was actually her favorite weapon, Grunhilde, a chain mace weapon. It was only fair, really, though she wasn't planning on hitting him with it. Because she'd be getting some weird looks if that happened, and probably have to go on the run. Sakura's semblance activated, slowly spreading up the chain of the chain mace before it froze solid completely. She gave it a few test swings, making sure it was straight and solid, before she looked back towards Cecil and got in a fighting position. "Okay. Come at me. But, uh, let's just avoid murder." She said. Sakura wasn't one to make the first move anyways.

It din't matter that they were in a classroom full of people, chatter, ad the various sounds of semblances and combat. It was loud and rowdy, not the slightest bit romantic It was not at all the place he would have imagined such an event as this to happen. Yet, it didn't make it any less perfect. Somehow, despite them being surrounded by people and noise, it was just the two of them. They were in their own little bubble and nothing else in the world mattered. Just them, everything else was simply static. The blissfulness of this moment erased everything and surely nothing could have penetrated their veil. It truly was an incredible feeling. Her skin beneath his, soft and supple void of the dryness and pain it usually caused him. Her lips even softer, the smoothest of velvet. His skin was rough while hers was so delicate but yet it seemed every inch of him fit perfectly to her. Two halves that made a whole and they had never been closer than in this singular moment. He noted her initial surprise but it just but a momentary thing before she pushed back, their lips molding together, burning with an eagerness, a passion. It was sweet and tender, but still managed to bare the entirety of years of unspoken words. Words they always knew, they always felt, but had never truly spoken allowed. Not due to fear or hesitation, but rather there was no real need to express such a powerful thing verbally when they showed it in their every action. Never had it blazed brighter than it did now, entangled in their kiss. He couldn't help the smile the tugged at his mouth, smiling against her own lips. Truly, there was too much happiness wrapped up into this moment to avoid such things.

It lasted only the barest of seconds though it all seemed to happen in slow motion. Each movement, each breath, each touch, all burned into his memory for the rest of eternity. As brief as it was, it was by far some of the best few seconds of his life. It was a memory he would cherish forever. One that would keep them both going through even the worst of times. Something they would both look forward to again. Something that now, Cali knew was possible. For the very first time he had seen the hope sparked in those beautiful sandy hues of hers. For the first time she believed it possible. She had seen that she didn't have to destroy everything she touched, that her pestilence would not consume her, and Eli had taken it upon himself to fill those few seconds with only the happiest of memories. It would not only be a memory to smile upon and look forward to, but a bit of motivation. Granted, that wasn't the only reason he had waited and chosen this exact time to do such a thing. Whether he had known he wanted to kiss her for years or just a few minutes, he knew beyond anything else that he didn't ever want her to regret such a perfectly shared moment between them. Eli knew that if he had done it under normal circumstances, with her decay active, that no matter how wonderful the kiss was... there would always be a part of her that regretted it, felt guilty. She had already felt those things about their other forms of shared contact. As much as she cherished it, the guilt was a constant. He knew that and he didn't want any sort of negative thought slipping into this moment... and now they wouldn't.

Already her pestilence was finding its way back into her touch. He could feel it buzz against his cheek and his fingers still resting upon her cheek. He didn't mind though, and he wasn't about to ruin the moment by pulling a way in the midst of such a tenderly shared moment. A little dryness was all worth it to him and it was honestly nothing compared to the wondrous feelings coursing through his veins. Just as he expected, the flustered-ness set in just about as soon as her mind had caught up. He watched the rosy color feeling her cheeks, brighter than any blush he had ever seen and all the more adorable for it. She didn't seem to know what to say and certainly Eli's sly smirk wasn't helping any. Where she was fumbling and nervous, he was confident and calm. However, there was no mistaking the look in their eyes. They were both truly happy. At her comment his electric orbs darted around the classroom for just a moment as if he had forgotten anyone else was in the room. As his eyes locked back on her dusty gaze, he gaze a nonchalant shrug. "It would have been worth it." He stated matter-of-factly, winking playfully at her. "Besides, a little trouble would just make it that much more fun." He added, smirking at her for a moment before letting out a laugh. Really, they were in the back of the classroom and no one was paying attention to them anyway. The teacher was blind and he figured it would be below any of the other students to tattle on them for a bit of PDA. There were much more important matters to attend to.

The smile on her face said it all, but that's not what Eli distracted himself with. Rather, it was the look in her eyes. Hope mixed with possibly a bit of awe. For once she believed in herself just as much as he did. The hope that he had been trying to relay to her for years could no longer be denied. They had both just witnessed it in what would surely be one of their fondest memories. "I've always believed in you and I always will. I may have been the one who dragged you here, but that was all you, Cali." He told her, a broad smile on his face. He truly was proud of her. She had come a long way and this had been a big step. A milestone they both needed. "I know you don't usually see it... but you are stronger and more incredible than you could ever know. You'll do amazing things my little, Spider Queen." He told her, thumb gently caressing over her cheek. It was in moments like this that the true extent of his sweet side shone through. There was no smirk, no cheeky grin or sly look. It was but the sweetest of smiles and only the most sincere of looks in his electric orbs. He was genuine, certain, with nothing but faith and admiration for her. "You are more than your semblance, more than this decay. You proved that today. You can over come this and use it for great ventures... just as I've always told you."

There was something burning behind her sandy hues, something brimming at the surface ready to boil over. She was determined, ready, she opened up her mouth to let the words finally spill out, but fate had other ideas. It was a truly unfortunate intervention, especially on Cali's part. He didn't have to hear the entire sentence to know what was coming and he knew exactly how much will it must have taken to force such deep and powerful words out. Her decay in full motion now had finally rotted the chair she'd been sitting on. Timing could be a rather unfortunate thing. The loud splintering of word sounding and effectively cutting her off mid-word. How cruel it was, really. However, Eli wasn't about to let unfortunate turn worse. Before she could fall to the ground and land painfully in the remnants of the wooden chair, he held out his wrist, a spew of white webs springing forth and encompassing around her waist. He caught her just before she could hit the ground, giving a tug with powerful arms to pull her back to her feet. His other hand gently encircled her waist to help steady her and be sure that such a rescue was not in vain. "Didn't you say something about entangling you in my webs?" He question, raising a brow as a playful smirk tugged on his lips. "Oh, and Cali?" He said, softer this time, his breath surely tickling her nose at this distance. "I love you too."

He was starting off with his spear as he nodded his head at her order of avoiding murder. He had to hold himself back as she got herself ready. The appearance of her chain mace was rather interesting... it seemed more like a flail than a mace but he wasn't going to bring up weapons 101 in a class for aura training. Her ice soon made it more of a mace once the chain had frozen, and once she was ready he was quick to jump from where he was. He wasn't fast, but he was coming straight at her, going for a stab with the spear towards her arms. The ice was definitely sharp should it hit her. "Move." He ordered her once he was closer to her.

                                                          out. of. control.

XXXOf course he'd say that. ... No, he wasn't wrong. Anything would have been worth this moment, one that seemed so oddly perfect despite how truly out of place it was. Anything to spice up the moment or throw him back in the spotlight, just to get under her skin... Sometimes she had to wonder, was he a spider or a bed bug? What would be more annoying in the moment. "I-I don't th-think I'd keep it to-together... Th..then again... Being known as the pair caught in class just... just might... be better than the girl who.. you know.." Hm, perhaps in that light... Maybe it would've been better if they were caught. To be known throughout the school as the couple who got caught by the blind teacher for making out in class, compared to the girl who killed everything she touched. ... Oh but she so was used to the later... She might not be able to handle their special moment being known to the world. Even as her mind wandered, she'd find herself once again reaching contentment as she field his thumb gentle graze her cheek, being one to truly cherish every little touch she could get from him... It was all the more special, knowing how much either of them had to do to get it. A soft coo would escape her lips as her cheek sunk against his palm, a sandy gaze interlocked with his own electric gaze.. ".. Y-you'll never credit yourself e-enough, will you? ... I.. I guess I don't, either... But.. I wouldn't have made it here... Not without you.. " Briefly ignorant to her returning decay, she'd begin to feel the coarseness of his palm slowly begin to intensify as a soft sigh escaped her lips. She didn't want it to stop, not yet.. It showed as her cheek nestled gently into his palm, dragging out the last moment she could. "I.. I don't... But.. You've always reminded me... I... I just might be able to.. So long as you stand beside me ... My dear Spider King.." It was that smile that continued to entrance her, a smile of pure sweetness that she rarely saw but could never get enough of... He was always such a joker, a tease, but it made that same smile all the more to be savored when it showed. "... Maybe.. just maybe... You're right..." It was still hard for her to swallow, but she could never say no to such a smile. This alone was it's own step. It always returned to self deprecation and denial. Anything with her semblance would be shutdown as it controlled her, but for once... Just now, she felt different.

It was as if reality was trying to correct what she had done. The universe working against her, as it always had, and tried so desperately to make her regret what led up to this moment. It did so by letting the chair beneath her crumble, and in turn, try to crumble her new found hope with it. Even so, as she began to descend to the ground below, her mind was one tracked. Though her words softened, and she saw Eli's beautiful vivid blues drift further and further away, she found herself consumed in delight. Nothing in this world would ever make her regret bending the laws of her own reality, not in the slightest. It could have been just those few seconds and those alone for the rest of her life... And it wouldn't change the passionate memory that burned in her mind and soul. A medley of the five senses. Every breath, every touch... The warm and tender skin against her own, to the faint patch of rough chapped lips. A complex, but the minty taste that was left burning against her lips. The wonderful mix of a woodsy musk, gentle woven spider silk, and crisped fabric of the training dummy. A classroom that faded around them, loud and rowdy students becoming no louder than a meadow breeze. Only to be outmatched by their hearts beating in unison. Only to end by meeting such illustrious blue eyes, it was all committed to perfect memory. Something that she could play over and over again, never once growing tired of the sensation she felt with him. The most important thing though was seeing such a sweet smile compliment such firm cheekbones and chiseled jawline. Though the faintest chapped lips, they looked just as they did before... Untarnished by her curse, unlike the rest of him. That one thing stayed pure, and that... That was truly what made such a moment special, knowing that for once... She didn't hurt him.
[[Toasty Notes; I ended up writing this and completely forgot that I started with her falling. Hopefully, it still flows well.]]

A medley of thoughts would continue to swirl in her mind, all while in the few seconds of her descent. ... Maybe her mind wasn't as calm as she had believed. Where part of her soul felt tranquil, it seemed that she tricked even herself as her mind raced at all that had happened. It was something that had been building for years. From the day he took her hand, the day he declared her to be his queen, and every moment in between. It seemed only fitting that this moment happened here of all places, the epicenter of her stress as a whole. In this class, surrounded by students with amazing semblances who did not know how truly dark her own could be. The anxiety of their gazes, the fear of their judgment. All of her worry, all of her fear... Washed away at that moment, and she wouldn't think any more of the students. Of the teacher, of the school. Not right now. She had given in to it all and was ready to finally touch the ground. After all, her hair had grazed the floorboards before a familiar embrace encompassed her waist. With the restriction around her waist, she'd feel a mighty arm tug her like a ragdoll back up to her feet. Her weight would immediately press in to Eli who was ready to support her, as her legs felt like jelly after all the blood had rushed to her face. Everything was so hot, fuming even. It was a wonder that such a flustered mess would still be conscious. As she relied on him for support, her arms would carefully drape around the covered pieces of his skin to ensure no further harm came. And... Once she found herself settled, safe against him as she always felt... She couldn't help the soft smile that tugged on her cheeks, looking up at him in utter adoration. 'You've never once failed to, oh King of Spiders." Her words followed with the faintest tease, softly purring in delight. If she was a cat, her ears would certainly perk at the questioning tone that followed her name, tilting her head up in curiosity.

That's when she had been reminded of what she said during her fall after her confidence had just faded. She'd bite her lip at his words, understanding the true sincerity behind them... They never needed to say them, but... There was a sense of realism hearing those four words, one that nearly made her heart burst. Now it had all become too much for her, and where she found herself lost in the depth of his eyes, she'd begin to blink rapidly as she tried to think of something... Only to realize that her decay would begin to savagely eat into the silk and his clothes, as well as any exposed skin she had so carelessly, rested against. O-oh! Eli, w-what are we-we doing?! We.. We need to get your j-jacket on, o-or else..." The fluster of the mood would turn into some erratic movements as she tried to turn in his grasp and reach for it on the desk, only to realize her legs were still much akin to jelly and threatened to smoosh beneath her shifted weight. "G-gah!" As elegant and adorable as she seemed to try and look, she truly turned into a hysterical blabbering mess when pushed to the limits of her embarrassment. Though was she really embarrassed..? Or had she just finally shorted out from such an intimate heart to heart with the one she cherished most? ... Perhaps such a comedic outburst was exactly what they needed to ease back into reality. Though her legs would give, she'd still find herself more than safe in Eli's arms, who wouldn't dare to let her fall... No matter how badly she seemed to bring it on herself.

She had honestly become too much of a mess to try and focus on class anymore. The sounds of other students would begin to ring and sound through the class and her head once again though kept her undivided focus on Eli. .. After all, they hadn't noticed anything so far... What did it matter now, with the two at the back of the class? From their passionate moment to her comedic fumble, Cali's beet red face finally began to ease... Getting a break from torment after torment that her spider had brought on her. Where most simply feared the spiders, she had to fear what he could do to her. After all, only the person that could make her sane could drive her so unbelievably insane. ".. D..does this mean.. I completed my assignment..? .. " It was an odd thought, the girl who had never once had an ounce of control with her semblance turned to be one of the first to 'complete' her assignment. ... Though, at that same thought, she paused as her eyes traced back down to the chair as her lip curled down in a touch of sadness. "... I still ruined the chair... But.." Though a pang of disappointment, she couldn't let that get her down after all that had been accomplished. It took seventeen years, and endless motivation from the boy that held her to get this far. Sandy hues glanced back at Eli, her saddened expression curling up with just the slightest mischievous touch, as she whispered. "I didn't ruin you.. Think I'd pass if we explained that to the Professor?" ... Wait, what? Her eyelids would flutter in a rapid blink, choking on her words before nudging her forehead into his shoulder with a pout. "Did I really say that? ... You're such a bad influence, maybe you do have infectious venom..." She'd huff, retreating to some sill spider pun to try and save her own shame. Because knowing Eli... He might actually take the comment to heart if it meant a moment to tease her and help her pass. Though, the real question was: Would the boy kiss and tell?
[[Toasty Notes; I'm not sure if I can take so much sweetness from these two. I think I need to get my blood sugar checked now.]]

Cali had a point, to an extent at least. She really wouldn't be here without him, but in Eli's mind that wasn't because of her own inability but rather because she would not be here at all. Years ago when the bandits had attacked their village, Eli had made a choice... maybe choice wasn't the right word. It had come to him as simple as breathing. Yet, this decision, impulse, necessity, whatever you wanted to call it, it had possibly been what had cost his parents their life and saved Cali's instead. He missed his parents dearly, truly... but it wasn't something he had come to regret or ever would. It was very likely Cali would have burned away in that fire he had pulled her from. to him, a world without Cali was not a world at all but rather some twisted version of hell. He couldn't imagine it, refused to. A world with her lost to it was not one worth living in. He knew the pain of a world without his parents. It was painful, but manageable, especially with Cali at his side. Yet, a life without her, the pain and torment that would wreck upon his soul... it didn't seem survivable. Eli knew pain as well as any other person, possibly even more so. He'd been pushed to his limits of both physical and emotional torture, but nothing had been worse than that brief moment in which he thought he had lost her. When he called her name and she did not answer. Nothing had been worse, nothing could compare. So yes, maybe she was here physically because of him... but he was here because of her. Her existence was as necessary to his life as oxygen.

Perhaps if he hadn't come back for her she would have lived somehow miraculously managed to survive. Perhaps her decay would have eaten through the beam pinning her to the floor before the raging flames ate through her flesh. Still, her legs had been badly hurt. Eli practically had to carry her and her lungs had been so full of the thick, black smoke she was hardly breathing. Even if she had been able to escape the imprisonment of that wretched, burning house... that house that had bee here own personal hell... Would she have been able to escape the remaining bandits? Surely not... and what would have happened to her then? Eli had born witness to the terrors that had awaited them there. The only reason they had gotten through such dark and terrible things was because they had each other. How would she had faired on her own? He couldn't think of any possible outcome where she made it out of there alive. Just like everything else in their lives, that was something they had been able to manage because they had each other. So would she have died alone in that cage? Or would something even more unthinkable have become her?

It wasn't a subject he much liked to think on, and it showed in his face. So rarely were his features caressed by that of pain, anger, or disgust. It was only in those moments in which someone wronged the person most dear to him. Only in those moments when he was completely consumed by that white hot rage he had never been able to control, not when it came to Cali's well-being at least. However, in this moment, his face was painted in a toxic mixture of it. Electric hues subdued by such negative feelings and thoughts, haunted and dimmed by the storms wrought forth in his own mind. A visible shudder ran through his body before he ran his free hand through his mess of raven locks. He blinked once, eyes staying closed for just a moment longer than what might be considered normal. When bright blues opened once more, they were clear as the sunniest of summer skies. A smile touched his lip, small but genuine. The clouds were at bay for now and as he usually did, he was looking on the bright side. "We are both here because of each other." He murmured, voice gentle, but firm. This wasn't a subject he was willing to debate. "Nothing more... nothing less... but that doesn't diminish the credit for what you've done today. That was brilliant."

Just as he'd expected, she wasn't quite stable once he pulled her to her feet. Her legs seemed like pure jello but she seemed to know he would be there to support her until she managed to support herself, and even then, he would be there just in case. She relaxed in his arms, as she always did. It was an opportunity she never passed up and Eli was glad for that. As her arms slipped around him, his one arm tightened slightly around her waist while the other broke free of the web to run gently through her sandy locks. Head resting on his, surely listening to his heart as she always did, it could not have been a more perfect moment. He felt her slip into the same tranquility she often did in moments like this and he held her without regard to her returning semblance. The pestilence slowly ate away at his skin. Both his cheek that she'd been touching moments ago and his arms that were left bare without his jacket. The moment didn't last long as she seemed to realize exactly what they were doing. She wriggled around in his grip, but he was unrelenting. Gentle still, but not quite ready to release her. Partially because he enjoyed the contact and partially because he still wasn't sure she could stand on her own. "I'll be fine... nothing I haven't gone through before." He reassured, a soft smirk tugging on his lips as he peered down at her. Knowing she wouldn't give in on this though, he sighed softly and released one of his arms from her, shooting a strand of web to his jacket and tugging it towards him. I spun through the air before he caught it between his fingers. He shrugged it on one arm at a time, using the other always to keep her steady. "Better?" He questioned, raising a brow at the flustered girl within his arms.

At her question, that proud smile returned to Eli's lips. "I'd say so." He agreed immediately, giving a dramatic nod. He just wasn't exactly sure how they were going to explain such a thing to the teacher. Sure, she had still destroyed the chair, but he had lasted longer than normal, but the fact that they had been able to share such an intimate moment without any painful or uncomfortable side effects.... that was truly incredible. Relaying such a thing to the teacher wouldn't bother him in the slightest. Eli wasn't one to get shy or embarrassed, but that was not the case with Cali. He knew that, and more so, he knew this was a special thing shared between the two, and thus he would leave that decision to her. He may have been a rascal sometimes, but he managed to be a gentleman when it mattered. However, that wouldn't save the poor girl from the teasing that was about to come. The warning signs flickering through in that sly smirk and the mischievous gleam of blue eyes. "Planning to ravish me, were you?" He teased in response to her comment, wriggling his brows before sending a playful wink her way. He knew he would pay dearly for that innuendo later, but it was all worth it to him. His grin only grew at her next comment, baring slightly pointed canines. "Did I not mention the venom before? Oops." He teased, letting out a soft chuckle at the flustered expression that seemed to be stuck on her face. Surely it was his fault, but he found it just as amusing as it was adorable.

After a moment his expression subdued, growing more serious. "If you want to explain the events to Professor Schuer, I can take all the blame... but I'll leave it up to you. We can share, or we can just explain you suspended it long enough to keep the chair intact a bit longer, okay?" Either way it would have to wait until the end of class. The teacher was busy with some other students at the moment and beyond that, he knew if Cali decided to go for the truth she would want to do it with as much privacy as possible. "But, speaking of assignments... you've distracted me from mine you little minx." He teased, smirking at her before reaching up a hand and swiftly giving her a nice poke to the end of her nose. He gave her a look of an almost child-like satisfaction before lifting her easily be her waist and plopping her down on one of the desks. He still wasn't sure how her legs were fairing but he didn't want to risk her getting to close to his electricity, especially not with that suit on as they were still unsure of what would happen. Taking several steps back, he enacted the final form of his semblance, encompassing his body with the sparking energy. The current encompassed his form, his skin taking on a soft blue glow. In this state anyone who was unfortunate or stupid enough to touch him would receive quite the shock. He knew he was at his limits, but the point of the assignment was to drain his aura and push past those limits.

Turning away from Cali and anyone else that had wandered too close, he shot another stream of electricity through the ground and towards the training dummy. It sparked and sizzled as it traveled through the floor but as soon as it reached the target, the aura protecting him from his own semblance failed. The electricity covering him fizzled, but not before it sent a wave through his body. He went stiff, collapsing the ground with a soft groan. For a moment all he could do was lay there, his muscles feeling stiff and sore, his fingertips tingling like when they feel asleep. After a moment be pushed himself to a sitting position, smiling through the pain. He was hurting, but he was proud of himself and of her. He also knew that if that hadn't impressed her, if not frightened her a tad, he wasn't sure what would. "Well... that hurt... Can I just say I'm sorry?" He said, letting out a breathless chuckle. It wasn't often that she got caught with his electricity. After their first few experiments he had learned better than to risk it. He had apologized her each test gone wrong countless times before, but that was before he knew just how truly awful it was. At least he was used to the lingering effects of her decay.

Azura Knight

"That was rather inconsiderate of the other to not inform you they were cancelling the game," Azura commented. She would be rather disappointed as well if she went to meet someone only for them to not show up. She would have said she would have invited Yui to play with them if she had known, but it would have been a lie. She knew of Yui of course, seeing her around Beacon, however, before today she had never spoken to the teacher assistant. As shy as she was Azura would have never approached Yui. The only reason she had done so now was that the Professor had assigned her to. That being said, so far she was rather glad of the assignment. “I believe Garret is the name of the person I saw you playing with. Rather tall with black hair and red earrings?" Well tall compared to Azura in all her five-foot-four-inch glory. "Yes, I do hope we have another opportunity to go to the beach, though I can understand why such events are rare." She concluded. With Grimm having overrun most of the world and the bandit attacks on the school it seemed the world was in dire need of hunters and huntresses. Unfortunately, with all the death and gloom, some students had burnt out and left the academy. The trip to the beach was a well-needed break.

She watched with a bit of apprehension as Yui looked around at the image she had created, waiting for her to notice some flaw or detail she hadn’t managed to get quite right. Azura smiled once again, her cheeks pinking a bit after Yui complemented her illusion, relieved she had managed to impress. “I’m glad you like it.” She said obviously pleased while Yui continued to wander around, now commented on the fatal flaw of her illusions. It hadn’t been too much of a detriment so far. The fast pace of combat left little time for others to notice such details, however, it was a flaw Azura was determined to resolve. “Careful!” She shouted alarmed, one hand half outstretched towards Yui, whose foot had suddenly disappeared into the ground. The illusion around them would flicker in her panic. The sounds of their fellow students would give a sharp contrast to the relative quiet of volleyball court Azura had created and for a brief moment, the classroom they were standing in was revealed. However, with the use of her wings and quick reflexes, Yui was in no danger. “You have excellent reflexes. It seemed my focus could use some work, however." She was both relieved Yui was fine and disappointed the distraction had caused her illusion to fade. “Studying psychology had never occurred to me, however, it sounds like an excellent suggestion.” She felt really excited about the prospect, and it wasn't entirely due to the idea of figure out how to enhance her illusions. Cecil would likely have some good recommendations for her. It was a good excuse to spend more time with him.

It was Yui's turn to use her semblance. From floating blue embers to a dagger to a long sword to an axe, Azura watched with fascination. "A weapon for any situation. Utility-based indeed." She said in admiration as she watched the dancing embers. "And I imagine somewhat more lethal than the real version of the weapon. At least I for one would rather be stabbed by a normal dagger than one of made of fire. It would also make it difficult for an opponent to disarm you." She observed. It was certainly a formidable semblance on the battlefield. "I suppose the downside is you need to be skilled in many weapons rather than just one." Her own scythe being a particularly tricky weapon to learn, she had spent many hours learning how to the wield the weapon before coming to beacon. She smiled at the name of her weapon. "A bit silly, but rather fitting. A stunning weapon really."

".. And this... This is the reason I wanted to see your weapon, Crimson Regret." Azura watched with anticipation as the dazzling blue embers began to swirl once more. Once they settled Azura grinned, immediately recognizing her own weapons storage form. "Absolutely stunning." While others might be upset over their weapon being copied or 'stolen' she was rather enjoying the display. The embers shifted once more, making a replica of her sniper. "It may lack the ability to use other elements, but I doubt you need to reload." The embers shifted again, taking on the final form, the scythe. "I must say I'm impressed by how easily and perfectly you managed to replicate Crimson Regret. It is truly an Azure Regret. Would you like to try wielding it? It seems to me I could make an illusion of myself for you two fight. This way we can both practice our semblance at the same time." As if to demonstrate a copy of Azura appeared beside her, holding Crimson Regret in its scythe form.

Danaë would keep her concentration on trying to keep her aura stretched out. She wasn't winning though. She felt Asger's hands going through her hair. In her hair though, he would find ribbons distributed throughout, carefully hidden in her hair. If he investigated though, he would find her throwing daggers that were shaped like feathers. It might be cliche, but she wanted something to remind her of him, so she made weapons that looked like his feathers.

She would close her eyes again, fighting the aura was too much. She had to finally give in, as she was about to tell the two students at the back of the classroom to get a room. Sure, Danaë and Narx were in a relationship, but they kept public displays of affection to the privacy of their dorm. Holding hands was fine, but flirting, and kissing was not.

Instead of feeling her aura disappear, and fail her, she felt it engulf her arms. She would open her eyes, to see a light brown aura covering her arm feathers, and extending them further. She had wings! Her wish was to always be able to fly! Her eyes started shining as she stood up, showing them to Asger, they felt like they had weight to them as well. "As..Asger...look.." She was absolutely stunned by them. It was all that she had ever wanted, but she didn't think she would ever get. "I bet I can fly!" Her voice was so lively, as if all the tiredness had left her.
