Oh yeah, Jamie still hadn't had a chance to explain anything he'd wanted to. With everything that had happened, one thing after another, it kept slipping away from him. There wasn't much he'd be able to explain, but he'd try, if only because the look on Shiloh's face when he glanced over again made Jamie realize all over again how much it sucked to be kept in the dark.
"Other Ashdown, yeah..." he started, unsure how exactly Shiloh would take this new information. It's not like he really understood it himself. "It's apparently, um, a different Ashdown. It was raining and... Lady took us there. S-She's the one who told me what I was, b-but I haven't seen her since then.
Honestly, I-I was just kinda thrown into this. I don't... know a lot about it, I don't understand it, no one explained anything to us." As he spoke, he got a little worked up at that, squeezing Shiloh's hand in the process. It did bother him, being forced through this without so much as a damn explanation of what was going on.
"Lucas is the guy with the, um, tail and red eyes... from before. And there's Lily. And Eve, b-but she stayed downstairs. And, um, we were told we had to catch the one that started all of this, but nothing else..." He sighed. "The other moonwalkers... we're like a Pack. It's a... family feeling, I guess."-- Jamie DelaxcroixHP: 20/20

"Sergeant Kuroda, I would advise that you stay with the group." Jeremiah amended over the radio. "Both combat trained individuals do not need to leave the group. Let Lucas take her downstairs."

So they were just... forced into this. Alright, that didn't really help Shiloh's mood.
Actually, the whole explanation did little to help. It wasn't Jamie's fault by any means, but he was just as clueless to what was happening. The only difference was how he had been initially involved. He squeezed back reassuringly, realizing how upset Jamie was with the whole situation too.
He wouldn't touch on the information he'd just been given. It'd just be asking questions when both of them had little to no answers.
"A family feeling, huh..." must be weird, suddenly having those sorts of bonds with people you barely knew. Then again, Shiloh didn't have a good grasp on the concept either, outside of his relationship with his brother. Maybe that's why he was fixating on it. "Is... is it a nice feeling?" he wondered curiously, maybe looking a little younger for once.

Falco sees nothing out of the ordinary. The projector is up on the ceiling. Algie turns off the projector, but the sound continues to play. Chris sees nothing odd. Under the table is… table legs. Some chair legs, too. Huh. You should probably move on. THE NUMBER IS 15 THE TIME IS 1830 YOU ARE IN THE RED CONFERENCE ROOM THERE IS NOTHING WRONG PROCEED?
>YELLOW CONFERENCE ROOM >UPSTAIRS
IF YOU PROCEED UPSTAIRS I WILL ADD TWO NUMBERS TO YOUR DANGER DICE :3
YOUR NEXT GM POST WILL COME AT 1900 PST Rules Amendment As there are ranged weapons present in the game, rules have been created to account for them. As all guns in the game are property of the police department, firing them comes with a consequence of having to explain in a later thread why you fired to your boss. You cannot be damaged by the were, but the gun is a risky proposition. To fire, please roll a 1d10. The damage scale looks like this: 1-4: You fire your gun into the chaos and do a flat 5dmg to your peer with the lowest health, including you. 5-7: You fire your gun into the chaos and do a flat 5dmg to the were. 8-10: You fire your gun into the chaos and kill the were. You now have to explain why you wasted all of your deescalation training and killed somebody who was not in their right mind.

Going silent, America's lips compressed into a thin, hard line at hearing the news. Lara wasn't dead, but she wasn't okay. Cerby was... Well, Lara wasn't dead. He was a good boy, who did his job. Swallowing, America reached out to place a hand on Falco's shoulder. "Let's move on to the next room. I'll help protect Miss Lips, kay? You tell me if you see a bird hanging 'round."

Chair legs and table legs have never looked so reassuring."There's one more conference room on this floor, let's check it out and then we can head upstairs." Jeremiah paused a moment. "The elevator probably needs to looked at as well." The silver-haired detective shook his head at the fact that noise was still playing and exited the room to head to the last conference room. Not without another momentary touch to Algie's arm because it was a thing. jeremiah mercer >> yellow conference room

"I've got a cat..." Falco offered with thin spread humor, as though he were running short on supplies. "If anyone can spot a bird of any feather, it'll probably be Major Hotlips here." He gave the fluffy vastness of her a gentle squeeze, trying to gauge how much was too much for feline patience. No sense getting his face ripped off by a cat before the rogues got to them. "...Ha... remind me to tell you about my old nickname sometime. When there's more to laugh about." Following the group to the next room

Was it nice? Jamie considered it for a moment, but the answer was pretty clear to him. Nothing about becoming a were had been nice so far, save for the reassurance of Pack. It was definitely weird to simply touch someone and experience bonding, but the bond felt true and Jamie wouldn't be the one to reject it.
"It is nice," he admitted, nodding shortly. "It's... really kinda weird, though. I dunno if I could explain it completely... But, um... they really helped me get through everything when I found out what was gonna happen to me."
Letting out a small sigh, he looked like he might want to say more, but the words caught in his throat as people began to filter out of the room. Looks like it was time to move on.
"There's one more room..." he muttered to Shiloh. "Every time we check somewhere new I get nervous again..." His voice didn't waver, surprisingly, but a small, awkward laugh accompanied it.-- Jamie DelaxcroixHP: 20/20

As weird as it was, it was nice this room wasn't... ******** up so to say. Was normal enough without anything strange lurking around. He was going to follow the group, and nodded in reply to the suggestions, but he still kept an wary eye out.
He wasn't going to fully go into the next room and he stood in the doorway of the current conference room and the hallway, just looking around.

It is nice. Shiloh nodded along with what he was saying, doing his best to listen. "I guess I could get that... being alone and stuff, but then someone comes along 'n gets you." he paused, maybe, almost smiling to himself, "It kinda sounds like what happened with Thor-"
People started to file out, and the sudden movements made Shiloh jump. He wasn't usually this on edge, but the situation had definitely put his reflexes into overdrive. It showed in the bags under his eyes; he was absolutely exhausted being so aware and alert, but he couldn't afford any other choice.
"One more room, right." he echoed Jamie, regaining his composure. "I'm... a little nervous too." for you, he wanted to add, but he kept quiet. His eyes locked onto Mr. Watts when he walked out, then they glossed over everyone else.
"Hey, Jamie? Whatever happens, we're still friends okay?" Despite the weird were thing, despite the events that happened tonight, despite everything. "Nothing's changed." he was sure of it. Not in regards to their friendship, anyway.
He gently started to tug him away towards the next conference room.

Algie nodded, annoyed mildly that the sound was still going, but he limped to the door and towards the hall. He was pretty sure his knee was swelling at this point but he'd last. Alg probably could have rested downstairs but after the hedge maze incident he wasn't letting Jeremiah out of his sight and he was sure the feeling was mutual. He did pause on his way out beside his spouse, hands tangling together in support, especially upon hearing about Lara, "At least we'll be sure the floor is clear." Ready for Last Room.

America gives the mound of fluff a salute and silently decides that she won't screw up here. Hell or high water, she, Falco, Hotlips, and her feathered friend would all leave in one piece. No losing anyone else, not when they'd just found each other. As she approaches the next room with Falco, America scans the hallway, wired with fear and determination. ryuthulhu she got ur backs ok even if the dice disagree

Well, if anything was gonna hit Jamie right in the heart, it was what Shiloh promised next. Having friends—even after the time they'd known each other and the time since he met his fellow moonwalkers—was still like a dream come true in the best and worst way. It felt so good, but Jamie always had to deal with the worry in the back of his mind that it wasn't real or it wouldn't last. He hated those fears, he hated them so much. For Jamie, that was saying something.
"We..." he mumbled, eyes wide and hand still wrapped around Shiloh's. "Y-Yeah, we are... I-I know." You're my best friend, Shiloh, he thought. "N-Nothing's gonna change."
This time when he smiled, it looked genuine; small, wobbly, but genuine.
As Shiloh began to tug him towards the next room, he looked back at the previous one, eyes lingering on Chris in the doorway. "A-Are you coming, Mr. Watts?"-- Yellow conference room time.Jamie DelaxcroixHP: 20/20

Oh no that smile.
"Good." he said with a nod, glad that Jamie seemed concrete with the notion. He was all set to press onward if not for Jamie pausing, Mr. Watts' name coming up in the following conversation. Sure enough, there he was in the doorway.
"Yeah, aren't you? Y'can't hold my other hand though, sorry Chris." Shiloh said, sticking his tongue out. The sooner they could get this all squared away, the absolute better.
