When life pushes me, I push harder, what doesn't kill me makes me stronger. Mairi looked thoughtful, looking around. She saw not much interesting before she caught sight of the edge of a basketball, apparently one that had been left out when everything else had been put away. So what do they do here? her voice was soft and shy.

Mairi tilted her head as she crossed her arms before she twitched a finger, the basketball twitching before it shot into an arcing motion as if thrown from within the bleachers. Like this? her voice was soft and shy as she shifted her weight, the ball landing between her fingers as she'd severed the chakra thread moments after flicking it to give the ball momentum to 'fly' from the bleachers, apparently unaided.

Mairi dear, you're supposed to use your hands to dribble the ball then shoot it into the hoops. Pyrrha then proceeds to demonstrate. She takes the basketball then dribbles it with her hands around the court until she reaches the hoops then shoots it and it goes through. Mairi dear, that's how you do it. Now why don't you give it a try? Pyrrha says this as she hands the ball to Mairi.

Mairi exhaled softly as she tentatively bounced the ball a few times and jogged carefully and slowly before she shifted her weight before pushing the ball in a fluid shot that bounced a couple of times around the inside of the rim before dropping in. What kind of sport is this? her voice was soft and shy.

How's it called 'basketball' if those aren't baskets? her voice was soft and shy, unaware that in the past, specifically 1890 and on, actual baskets were used, hence the name, though the name had been coined in 1892. She jumped slightly at the voice of the coach, not having noticed him. As she'd been picking up the ball at the time, she instinctively tossed it over her head and behind her.... sinking it in the opposing net despite being within the foul line, which was a few steps behind her.
