Dallol, Squire of Uranus

Turning to Corinth, Dallol simply gave him a long and hard look. "I'm just stating a fact as it is." She intoned flatly. "If nothing has happened so far, it's either that something or someone is dampening all our collective auras which is pretty impressive I must say, or that the Negaverse is in the process of planning and amassing a force at least as big as or bigger in order to bring us all down in one fell swoop."

If everything she was concerned about turned out to be for naught in the end, that was fine with the Uranus Squire really. Even if people likened her to the boy who cried wolf. There were just too many times when s**t literally hit the fan and one or, god forbid, both of them ended up either in the hospital or needing complete bed rest for a couple of days until they recovered enough to resume most of their normal activities as a student in their respective education institutions.

"Anyway, we should all keep our senses sharp just in case anything heads our way from here on." She concurred, one of the few and hopefully increasing number of occasions when she actually saw eye to eye with Corinth on various things.

Adria, Senshi of Sunsets

Adria looked incredibly confused when Cassiopeia addressed him; he nodded like he understood, but the truth was that it was taking his mind a long time to catch up with her words. Everything she said sounded familiar, and then all of a sudden his face lit up. "Oh!" he exclaimed. "Yes, I remember! I thought I made a total fool of myself—you're a senshi, too? Oh, good, then you know I'm not crazy!"

For a few seconds he was overly enthusiastic, and then suddenly he seemed to be reminded of where they were—and of all the people around him.

Immediately he clammed up and moved to hide behind Lysithea. He just flashed Cassiopeia a quick smile and sheepishly averted his gaze to the ground.

He noticed the cat brushing against her leg and offered a small wave.

Newgrange, Squire of Earth

Newgrange wasn't sure what he was supposed to expect when he showed up; he wasn't even sure he wanted to show up, but coupled with the strange tug on his radar, and the reassuring wave of Order signatures that permeated the area the closer he got drew him in. He had been wary of nearly everything; between his Wonder, the Code, and now this, he had no idea what was going on.

But he needed answers.

He just wasn't even sure this was the answer to his questions.

At the very least, it never hurt to know what was going on around you, and he wasn't going to be caught unawares if he could help it.

…And he wasn't going to go alone.

He was still learning a lot out about this whole Knight thing, even now—but his ring was definitely making it easier and he wished he'd gotten it a long time ago. As soon as he had felt the tug, he'd scrawled a quick letter to Sherwood to guarantee that if this was some sort of trap, at least they were going to go in together. He was just on the outskirt of the hill when he saw her approaching from the other side; he raised his hand to greet Sherwood. He wasn't sure if they'd missed anything important, but he was prepared to meet the group now that he had her with him. "Hey," he said when they were closer, casting a wary glance towards the shrouded figure.

"…I don't think anything's started yet, but I'm glad you're here. This…is something weird. You ever felt anything like this?" he asked quietly, not wanting to draw attention to them.

Sailor Eleonora // Senshi of Heat - Shanyume
Gorner // Page of Castor - Sleet Tempest Snape

Eleonora had been out on ‘patrol’, ok more like chit chatting while roof hopping, with her cousin when the unfamiliar energy signature blanketed their senses. Both girls froze.

“Umm, Did you feel that?” The Senshi of Heat stared owl-eyed in the direction the aura seemed to be resonating from.

The redhead, she really couldn’t believe she’d lost that bet, had been on the rooftop talking to her cousin about various things when she felt it. It wasn’t something she’d ever felt but it was strong, she knew that, and it overwhelmed her senses and took over anything else she might have sensed.

“If you mean something strong and just..suffocating than yeah.” She answered one hand going to her hip and looking in the same direction as her cousin. “Time to investigate.” Never one to back down from an adventure, though she was smart and didn’t get into dangerous situations, she was ready to go poking into this - whatever it was. “Come one Ele.” She said shortening her cousin's name without a care.

“Wait!” The senshi reached out to take ahold of her Gorner’s hand to stop her from taking off. “I need to call someone first…” It had only been a week or so since she had learned that Keely was a Page; one of the other factions belonging on the side of Order that Athene and Liryn had told her and Fiona about when they first met. Unfortunately she hadn’t had the opportunity to let her sister in on that tid bit of information.

Stopping, grabbed by her cousin, the page stopped and turned her eyes onto her cousin - questioning her silently. “Why wait?” She was not the type to wait - ever. Her cousin knew this about her and was asking her, expecting her, to wait?

Quickly powering down, Breana held up her hand as if asking for one moment as she dug her cellphone out of her back pocket and dialed her twin’s number. After a brief conversation she re-henshined up, almost regretting the loss of warmth her pants provided.

Watching her cousin power down she had to let her have the moment she requested, she figured it must be important - but a phone…? Why was she grabbing her phone and who was she calling? Watching, listening, she finally had her answer. Breana had just called Fiona and once Breana had hung up and powered back up she was ready to go!

“Can we go now?” She asked tapping a foot on the roof top.

“Yeah, we can go. Just… don’t run off okay? I don’t want to put my sister in the same position she was in a few months ago when I was abducted off the streets.” The fear in Alcor’s eyes was enough to make Eleonora think twice about going out without her there with her.

Without much more said on the matter the two made their way across Destiny City in the most direct path aided by the speed granted to both of them when powered up it took very little time to join the growing number of order signatures.

Havasu Falls, Squire of Pluto

Havasu was out just patrolling when he felt a strange blip on his internal radar. It was like the chill he had a few days ago but this time it wasn't going away. It wasn't order or chaos, not cat or youma. With his curiously raging he followed the signal and soon found himself in a large crowd of other order members.

“Cool. A party.” He smirked to himself as he searched the crowd for friendly faces. He spotted several he knew in passing, a few he had talked too, Delphi who he trained with recently, but the one group that made him pause was the one with the senshi of doves standing there talking. She hadn't spotted him yet, at least as far as he could tell.

With a huge grin on his face he slipped out of the crowd and circled around only to slip back into the large gathering behind Phact and her companions. Moving quietly as he could be made his way behind his girl and with a laugh darted at her and scooped her up, only to spin her around in his arms. “Hiya my dove.” His smile said it all. He knew he would get smacked for the surprise greeting but it was worth it. Totally.

Slidr // Page of Mercury

Slidr looked in the direction Delphi had indicated. Unfortunately they were far enough back that he couldn’t make out the figures features with all the others standing in the way. No matter, what she said was true however, that this would be a good time to connect with others of their designated faction. Despite her wise words, however, as he glanced around at the nearby faces, Slider made no move to introduce himself in lieu of observing them while they stood in small groups in what seemed to be deep conversation.

“If you were to guess, how many of us do you think there are?” With all the order signatures gathered around it was a bit of a sensory overload as he tried to discern between the differences between knights like them, different power levels; the senshi, both the young ones to the more adult; and the little felines weaving between everyone's feet or being held by what he could only assume to be their owners.

There were so many questions floating around his head but Slidr had a feeling that time for such inquiries was running rather short.

Super Sailor Sidouer // Senshi of Static

Sidouer had been out hunting for youma in her parents neighborhood when the strange aura tugged at her senses like a fishing line gone taught. Stopping dead in her tracks atop a light pole she turned towards where the signature seemed to originate from. “This can’t be good…”

As someone who lived through the Shade Fairy attack that happened well over a year ago, she knew as well as anyone else who had to battle their doppelganger that when explainable feelings tugged at your senses, bad things tend to follow. Either way she refused to allow that knowledge to deter her from running towards the beacon rather than away.

Thankful for the additional speed granted upon her somewhat recent upgrade, Sidouer made it to the gathering in no more than ten minutes flat. All around a mix of both Senshi and Knights had gathered, murmuring inquiries of what was going on though it seemed that nobody had an answer.

While many names were unknown to her, several of the faces seemed somewhat familiar from the attack that occurred at the Umbrae Hotel that happened just a year ago or from the rescue attempts made at the fun-house. Either way Sidouer skirted around the perimeter all the while continuing her search for someone she knew; large group gatherings like this never sat well with the Senshi of Static.

Though the clothing concealed most of his feature, the figure turned, slowly, and watched the gathering group with eyes that glowed gold under his hood. The gaze was fierce and cat-like, almost; even with his lids half narrowed, his pupils were visibly only thin slits.

There were more here, now, than he could have anticipated—and it filled him with hope. And dread.

He was tired, but forced himself to stand a little taller. They would not listen—would not trust him if he was a huddled mess. From there, he scanned the crowd, taking in each face. Each power signature. Each symbol they wore. There were some symbols he didn't recognize, and some that had been burned into his memory.

There was a small army here, and it felt like more still were arriving.

But the questions.

He had expected them, but now they were loud and demanding. Some were lost amongst the conversation of the crowd, but he listened intently, gathering every scrap of information he might have been able to make use of.

Mostly, he was trying to understand the English language.

It sounded different then last he heard; dialects were different, and they spoke with words he did not recognize or fully understand. But the general message was there, even if it took him a few extra seconds to decipher. They all seemed content to talk amongst themselves while he watched, and listened in silence. It was curious, how quickly they managed to band together. Some stood close to him, even those who seemed as innocent as Perdita, and instinctively he backed up—small steps at a time, nothing too obvious. The Senshi, Knights, and Cats formed their small groups, or stood alone, or watched him expectantly, but he waited for a leader—for one to come and silence them. But it didn't seem like one was going to show up. They had a small few whose energy signatures showed promise, but he had expected more.

But if this was the best they had to offer, he'd take it.

Some were making an effort—Castor kept speaking to him, and while he watched him intently, both trying to gauge his level of threat and to consider his words, he did not immediately respond. The man seemed to be reassuring—but he was correct in his assumption. This was not exactly the welcome he had expected, but neither was it as bad as it could have been. The questions all seemed to be building up, though. Some of them demanded answers and seemed more hostile than he had expected; he burned the faces of Chara into his mind, and of Etamin. Of course the senshi would hear what he had to say. If he was here, it was not an option, and he was perplexed to be spoken to in such a way. But then, even the polite, respectful questions of Lacrimosa, Glitnir and Eros strained him a bit. He took into account Elpis' tone when she addressed him and judged her for it, even if her question had been fair enough. He appreciated Lenka's interest not in just the 'who' and 'what', but the 'how' as well. He found a different sort of curiosity from Metis; she had her own questions, but he was more interested to know what she saw when she looked at him. What she saw that the others didn't.

He was making notes of all of them—cataloguing names when they were said, and information (at least, what of it he understood) they shared. And then, he stopped listening. The voices all became a quiet murmur to him as he tried to draw his focus back to why he was here. He took a moment more to prepare himself and then, with a soft whisper of a noise, cleared his throat.

And then he spoke.

His voice was hesitant and he sounded wary, but he still managed to speak loud enough that his words carried across the crowd. He had a distinctively masculine voice; it was unusually deep and gravely and seemed to echo strangely. He had some sort of accent, though it was not easily placed. He spoke slowly and with caution, and the words still seemed to roll off his tongue like honey.

"I have called you here," he answered, to those that questioned their purpose here—and his. "With a proposition. I am aware that many of you have questions about me. I expect these are mostly irrelevant. I won't waste your time. What is important is to establish what we can be. I do not know you. You do not know me. But I suspect we have similar goals. I have powers you cannot even begin to imagine. Powers that I would offer to aid you in your quest. But I know so little and would hate to be so wrong. I have spent much time here. Planning. DSo I ask now, please, to be enlightened. My time on Earth…"

His voice trailed off for a moment, as though were particularly difficult to put into words. "…Has not left me with the best impression. Your world is so different from what I remembered. This is not what I expected. I cannot walk among you unnoticed, now. And I cannot act alone. I will answer what I can. But I have questions, too. I want to know—I need to know," he corrected, "Who do you serve? …What is your goal? Who is your enemy? What…What have I missed?"

But the last question seemed a mistake on his part. He shook his head—or, at least, what seemed to be his head, and once more fought for words. "…I will exchange information. But know that I am placing a great trust in you. I hope you will reciprocate. I hope we can be…allies…"

A young senshi just now entering the crowd let out a short bark of a laugh at the strange man’s questions. He had short cut hair and stood closer to six feet now than he was several month’s ago, evidence of another growth spurt.

“You’re better asking a philosopher than asking this lot!,” the teenaged senshi laughed, jabbing a thumb in the direction of everyone else. “Your answers are going to vary,” he started, shifting the tone of his voice to be somewhat mocking of the way the senshi and knights often liked to bicker amongst themselves about what the right thing was that they should all do.

“Some will say the war with the Negaverse should be top priority! Some wish to see them destroyed, some want peace and love and understanding. Some will point towards these guys with the fluffy wings as leaders, others say they follow no one but themselves and their ideals. Some will say the Negaverse is our enemy, but I’m of the impression it’s everyone’s ignorance of the situation at this point,” he ended, crossing his arms over his chest and then paused to glance around.

“Oh… what did I miss?” Oberon asked, no longer a chibi senshi as of that night, but full fledged and with the aura to go with it.

Andronicus Squire

"That question... is subjective based on who you ask, said Andronicus, who stepped forward through the crowd to the front. Like hell she was going to ignore this chance, to let it slip away, to let someone else take charge and a stand. She trembled with barely hidden excitement and nervousness, adrenaline surging through her veins. The squire suspected foul play and that it was really Chaos and a trap and yet, and yet....

The temptation of power, of something different from the status quo could not be ignored. Her soul sang for it and she was not going to let the opportunity slip by her because of fear.

"Some follow one of the royals here. Others, follow their own beliefs or those of the ones they trust. There is not a singular... leading force. Our goals also differ, depending on who you ask. Our enemy, however, is relatively easy to answer: Metallia, and the Chaos that's out balanced Order." Andronicus pushed the hood from her head, forcing the temptation to play with her hair down. She swallowed, expecting more interference from those behind her than the cloaked, glowing eyed figure before her. She glanced at the younger senshi who's spoken up first, and nodded her head. "As the young man says..."

"What power do you offer us, then?"

Mont Blonc, Squire of Saturn

It felt good to have his friends there, with all their warmth and reassurance. Even Aokigahara, just passing by, took the time to squeeze his shoulder. On one hand, Mont Blonc felt badly for being in such a sorry state, for needing reassurance at all. On the other - he was so intensely grateful he could have teared up.

There wasn't much to be done to express how truly grateful he was here - a smile for Aoki, a sigh and a squeeze to Thrymr's shoulder, a lingering squeeze of Aegir's hand, and then finally fingers interlacing with Methone's, his shoulders still stooped but not looking quite as pale as before. At least he wasn't alone. He could do this when he wasn't alone.

There was another, too - a page he'd not seen before - Saturn - for all his fears, he flashed Paris a wary smile, genuinely happy to see him in spite of his paranoia. "I don't believe it's a party, no - not quite sure what this is all about yet, but you're free to stay beside us if you wish, " he said softly, knowing his friends would echo much the same in terms of sentiments.

The fact that there were chibis, too, Rhea and another, both warmed Mont Blonc and put him that much more on edge. He wished children did not have to be here. What is it was dangerous? What is it was - ?

It was speaking. Sorry. He. He was speaking.

Tremors traveled up and down the squire's lean body, on edge again. But - "How long?" and he surprised himself with the volume of his voice, but - "How long has - has it been? - for you...?" He trailed off at the end, rather looking like he wished he hadn't said anything at all.

Just what sort of proposition? - he didn't think he wanted to know.

Sailor Alcor // Senshi of Cold - Shanyume
Eternal Sailor Athene // Senshi of Beads - Litian
Liryn // Guardian Cat - Litian

After hanging up the phone with her sister, Fiona rubbed her temples like someone who was under too much stress. With the person she normally closed with out sick with the flu she had been stuck at the ice rink long after closing to make sure everything was ready for the next day; which included but not limited to taking care of all the skates that had been returned and cleaning the garbage out from under the bleachers.

She had been out on patrol when the wave of unfamiliar auras descended upon Destiny City which had left them both with an intensely foreboding feeling; something was coming. Not knowing what else to do they had contacted Athene and Liryn hoping for some sort of explanation which neither of them really had to offer.

Exhausted from a long day at both work and school, Fiona drew in a deep breath and sighed. “Just don’t do anything rash before I get there,” she spoke aloud more so to herself than anyone else since she was alone at the bus stop still waiting for it to arrive.

Rising from where she sat the bluenette moved to a more shadowed area before powering up. Warm winter clothes were soon replaced by the ice skater looking fuku and a large heavy arctic coat. Despite how tired she was, Alcor couldn’t let her sister go toward this strange aura by herself which is why she summoned her phone with the intent to call for help.

Thankfully her contact list was rather short as it only consisted of three names at the moment. Choosing the first on the list she brought the phone up to her ear and listed to it ring before a familiar voice on the other end picked up. “Athene? I need your help please, are - are you busy?” She seemed almost hesitant to ask for help but she didn’t know who else to turn to.

The aura had been one that Athene had never felt before, neither the warmth of Order nor the chill darkness of Chaos. Instead it was unfamiliar and different - a differentness that felt 'off' in a way that was kind of uncomfortable.

He glanced tiredly towards his furry patrol partner for the evening, his green-flecked grey eyes meeting the purplish eyes of Liryn, although truth be told Liryn looked about as confused as him.

"Wha.." he started only to be interrupted by the sound of his senshi phone ringing, his quiet voice trailing off as he pulled the phone from his satchel.

It was Alcor.

"Hello, Athene here" he said quietly and heard her speak in response, shaking his head momentarily before remembering that she wouldn't be able to see him.

"No I'm not busy," and it was true because Liryn and him were both on patrol, it wasn't as if anything had really been happening - well at least not before the flare of the aura there hadn’t. "And of course - Liryn's here too by the way."

"Athene, who is it?"

Athene tilted his head at the sound of Liryn's voice, phone still held to ear as he waited to hear what Alcor wanted and said quietly to Liryn "It's Alcor."

Her lips twitched in a small smile though there was nobody near enough to see. No doubt Eleonora would be happy to see the little bobtail if he were to arrive with Athene.

“Hey, I got a call from my sister a few moments ago. She said that there’s something going on just outside the city limits.” Vague, but not much outside that had been said since Berana wasn’t near enough to the source to give her any more detail than a general location.

“I almost wonder if this has something to do with what happened last week.” Seven days ago there had been a sensation similar to this one which had prompted her to call the Eternal then just as she was doing now.

"I'm not sure" Athene admitted, a slight frown on his face. "Although the thought crossed my mind."

Because whilst the thought had crossed his mind, he had about as much answers as he had had when Alcor had called him last week - which was exactly zilch.

"Liryn and I were thinking of going and checking it out" and at that he paused to look once again at the tabby bobtail just to make sure that they were on the same page.

"Yes."

The single word was simple but emphatic and left him was no doubt of the mauvian's thoughts on the matter.

"Eleonora said that something is happening on the city limits" he told Liryn, relaying across Alcor's information before turning his attention back to the phone.

"Is your sister planning to check it out?" Because if she was then perhaps they could make plans to meet up or something - because there was more safety in numbers.

“If she’s not there already then she will be there soon.” There was a sound of worry mixed with defeat that carried over through the phone. Breana kind of hung up before she could ask her twin to wait for her before running headlong into some big unknown.

“I’ll look for you when I get there? I’m over by the ice skating rink right now.” As it was it would take her at least ten maybe fifteen minutes to get outside of downtown Destiny City and another five to ten to get out of the suburbs. “If you see her, please don’t let her out of your sight.” Though Eleonora had been the one to get the brunt of her frustration when she had been kidnapped a few months prior, it was Athene who had seen the sheer panic she went through not knowing where her sister was at.

"I will" Athene promised. "I’m not sure how long it will take Liryn and myself to get there, but I think it will be…" he paused to think about it for a moment before settling on "Around 10 minutes or so." Because whilst he had eternal speed on his side which would cut time down on his end a little, he (and that meant by extension Liryn) weren’t that close to the suburbs.

"Liryn and I are going to head out now, but we'll see you there."

He hung up and slipped his phone back in the satchel turned to Liryn, "Looks like the two of us are heading to the city limits" he said quietly as he reached out for the small mauvian. "Alcor said that Eleonora is already en route to the place."

"Ok" Liryn said in answer as he obligingly let the dark-haired Eternal scoop him up and hopped up to his shoulder. "I'm picking up on quite a few auras, all of them Order, so if we follow them it should hopefully be easy enough to find the place."

"Okay" Athene said, because come to think on it the small mauvian bobtail was right - there was quite a few auras around and they were all Order auras and of varying strengths.

With Liryn settled, he turned and broke out into a jog "Let's go."

Eternal Sailor Athene and Mauvian Liryn

It seemed like he and Athene had both been right - Athene on the timing and him on the fact to follow the Order auras.

It was hard to tell how long the others had been gathered, although it was clear that the two of them were perhaps amongst the last to have turned up.

Liryn's purplish eyes looked around as he tried to see if he could spot Eleonora or Alcor amongst those gathered, but he turned his attention to that of the hooded figure at the sound of the voice.

Athene had also been looking around for either Alcor or Eleonora as he stepped closer to those gathered.

But whilst he spotted a few faces that he thought that he recognised, none of them were those of the two that he was looking for, although in Alcor's case that may have been down to him preceding her slightly.

It seemed that he had come in time for whatever it was happening to happen, as a hooded figure started to speak and whilst Athene did not venture an opinion he quietly listened, preferring to first hear out what the figure who appeared to be source of the strange aura had to say before trying to venture any opinion.

Sailor Skoll

On one hand, she wasn't used to being ignored. On the other, Skoll didn't actually care too much. It would take longer for her to be part of the Saturn group than just one meeting. Her attention was pulled from the group as the figure spoke, green eyes turning to them.

How long had he been gone, indeed. She could not get a read on him, though the eyes threw her off for a moment. He seemed nonthreatening, perhaps as confused about the world and the group as she was. Suspicious yes, but nothing had been said or done to make Skoll on edge.

Yet.

She kept silent, having no idea what was going on anyway, and content to watch and wait.

---

Chibi Iduna of Apples

Iduna giggled a little and smiled, nodding again. It was nice to have someone protecting her. She would not pull out the feathers; if anything, she'd probably grab a leg or hide behind him in all honesty, but the gesture was appreciated.

(She also stuck her tongue back out at Cadmus from across the way. Bratty brat!)

Iduna smiled at the... Castor knight? Ah so the winged guy was named Castor, okay. Good to know. She was a very pretty knight, if that was any consolation.

"No Mr. Castor. Got it. Name's Iduna, by the way. Also you've a pretty kitty on your shoulder, and no Arthur kitty I am not his kid. That would be weird. Can you not see the hair color diff---"

The figure spoke and Iduna instantly fell silent, shrinking behind his wings ever so slightly. She did not particularly like the figure, but she also didn't know what to make of him. Probably what made it all the more terrifying. He. The figure was a he. Okay.

That did not help her one bit, nope.

Scholomance knew well that he was not at all qualified to answer those questions. If he had any intent to do so, it was quashed by the bitter remarks of Oberon. The man-creature was entirely distinct from every faction they've encountered, and every ally that Scholomance had ever heard of. his information knew a narrow range, however, and he imagined some of the longstanding members of Order may have more idea of what, in fact, they addressed.

'I expect these are mostly irrelevant. I won't waste your time.'

Why act so humble among people you could effectively quash? He plays himself the lesser to us. I expect he is either subversive or sincere. I wonder what his proposition is. Everyone else seems to know exactly what questions to ask. I expect more will be revealed if we wait and see.

It nearly startled him to hear the number of people who considered the Negaverse an absolute enemy - some of them being his own kind. Oberon's voluntary sum indicated that it was more than just Andronicus who found the Negaverse worthy of opposition. He supposed it made sense - not many wished or passively accepted deliberate annihilation of the human species as an outcome. From what was explained to him, Scholomance assumed it to be the Negaverse's ultimate goal. But whether they chose to eliminate mankind or enslave it, or even repurpose it, Scholomance found them no more enemy than the White Moon, or his fellow knights.

In truth, he couldn't say that humanity deserved its continued existence, or even the freedoms it retained in its current form.

Finally he broke his silence. "There is no 'who' to answer your question of servitude. My experience has taught me that the White Moon Court and Knights - all of us - are more of an anarchic association than a republic, monarchy, democracy, autocracy, or any other form of government. That said, if you're still asking for servitude, the better question is what we serve - to which the response is, our planets and our wonders. For the knights, this includes the Code." It was, he felt, the only of the man-creature's questions that he could answer for anyone else. The goal, the enemy, the missing history... He could not provide blanket statements, nor could he venture as others did to cover all bases.

"It would be easier for anyone here to explain what you missed if you could provide us with a date that you last remember."
