Shep was not all about this 'getting pelted' business. Snowballs were flying in every direction and he'd gotten more than his fair share of hard hits. He immediately-oof!- got one in the arm as he tried to shoot one back at Lazarus, which managed to strike the Valsaros on the arm.

On one side, Shep was hit hard and on the other, Cesc. For a moment, Shep staggered back from the snow, ruffling his hair to get as much as he could of it out. Cesc, for his part, was grinning ear to ear, aware that he was really pretty much soaked at this point.

Up above the snowball fight, Vivi blew a loud whistle, stopping play.
"Alright, you all!" she called cheerfully from the balcony. "The time for the fight is over! Quick, come in--you have just enough time to warm up and get dry before the final countdown!"
As people begin to shake off their sweaters and stomp off their boots, the Frenchwoman continues.
"Ah, you should all know I have taken some lovely pictures tonight, as well! You are all quite photogenic. But I see that Team 1 has won a slim victory over poor Team 2! Never fear--you all go home with a gift."
Inside, there are a bunch of Zoku popsicle makers for all the participants! Each small box has a note on it: Go ahead and take the cold home with you!   "Sorry," Vivi says with a wide smile. "Traitors and losers get them, too."
