“Mmmaybe.” She said, giving him a cheeky smile. “Okay, okay. Only sorta. SO.” Elidae started animatedly, turning to him. However, in preparation to tell him about every bit of info she had, she lowered her voice, leaning in.

"I spent a little time down in the basement, as well. Hm, didn't see you there, must have missed you! But, you mentioned Schrad, right? She's so cool! Like, really cool! You should see what I found in the library about her. Anyways! She has a haunch that Tigwyn's cigarettes are, um... uhhh... what did she call them? Psychic... depressants? Why would he need those? She didn't really have much of an opinion on Erilyn, though she called her a "bleeding heart" for, uh." Elidae scratched her nose nervously. "Lowbloods. Or something. But yeah! I mean, I dunno. I asked her about Puchen as well. Something something about a second in command or whatever being in trouble, so she has to be nice. Maybe she only came to the party cause of that?" Shrugging, she continued.

"You met the, um... mutants, right?" Elidae immediately felt a pang of sadness, recalling her brief conversation. "They didn't speak or anything, except for a few broken words..." Bringing a hand up to her chin, she looked down at the carpet, deep in thought. "The one that would respond to me, they kept tapping on the cage. At first I thought they were just being silly, but... it sounded almost like... rhythm. Something I've heard before. I dunno, but it was very familiar." She finally said, shaking her head. "Either way, They seemed... sad." Not mentioning it to Leeroi, but she felt pity for the two creatures. Like caged animals. Just like caged animals. That was exactly what they were, really. Seconds later, she returned to her bubbly self.

“Wait-wait that's not all! So I was in the Nutrition Block, and like, everything looked fine. But when I checked out the knife block- oh my gosh, those knifes were really sharp, I cut myself!" Going on a tangent, she held up her finger with the small cut sadly, then returned to her happy babbling. "There was one missing. When I went to the sink to wash my hands, everything was shiny and clean, including a serving knife recently washed. Was probably the missing one from the knife block? Who knows! Regardless, I looked in the oven and guess what was there? A cake! A delicious looking cake. But the weird thing about it was? Two pieces were missing from it! So. That leads to me to believe..." Elidae looked at Leeroi, dead serious. “Someone's been eating cake.”

"Anyways! That's all I really know." Elidae smiled at him happily, clapping her hands thrice.

Was Aiguma this troll's name? Huh. Well - it didn't really matter, he thought. It looked like he and Sarcel had both been temporarily disabled, but Alifax usually functioned in public without his powers, and he was competent enough without them. Sarcel probably was, too - she'd just be a bit more noticeable than she'd previously been. Which was a pity.

Priestess Aiguma or whatever went on to, uh, scold them at length. Alifax put on a listening face, but honestly he didn't have much interest in her objections. No one could really say what was relevant, especially since much of this rumpus seemed to have been designed to deliberately mislead. And he hadn't really seen her volunteering to share information, either, or hinting that she'd found any. He was smart enough to not say that, either.

"We were discussing sensitive information," he shrugged, and attempted to break past her to head toward the rumpus room. Had the chalk finally been freed? There was so much information to consider now. And with any luck someone had been paying enough attention to see what'd been changing, and who had access to which rooms.

“As long as your miraculous stint in the load gaper headquarters sucking sticks and blowing mystery gas was useful to the investigation. Your uncapricious dismissal is noted and reflected, firecrotch. Sarcel. Good evening.” Tamiya whirled into the ablutionblock after the two and slammed the door shut.
She set to work arranging her own herbs above the ablution block appliance. A sprinkle of salt behind the bowl and on the narrow, sealed off window-sill, and she was set.
Tamiya took a seat on the closed lid of the load gaper and put her face in her hands. She was a mess. She fumbled to remove her metal fingers and rubbed at her face and temples, not caring about the quality or consistency of her make-up. She was tense. This night… Felt like the night so long ago, with Larque and her father. But this was permanent. She had yet to confront him about his wickedness. She felt blessed to have a knife for protection. For the Messiahs. For Comedi. She would make him proud, and after tonight she would prove her services to the Queen. No more ******** around. Tamiya Aiguma was here to stay.

With a painful grunt, Tamiya relocated her fingers and stood up. She reapplied her make-up with care and stomped out of the room, heading straight to the Northern Outgrowth. She trusted the Messiahs. She had to trust herself. She was important – she was affable, impressive, wanted. She was.

Sarcel watched the scene unfold, Alifax pushing by quickly—Oh no, was he mad?—and Tamiya... doing whatever it was that she was doing (firecrotch, was that supposed to be Alifax?). It was over almost as soon as it had started, door shut in her face, and one companion less than when she started. She sniffed, throat still sore and burning. That could have been a lot worse. Sarcel still felt incredibly uneasy however. When didn't she.

Heaving a rather dramatic sigh, she looked over the rest of the hivestem. Most of the other parties seemed remarkably involved with themselves or each other, and from the looks of it, their little debacle seemed unnoticed. Sarcel dared a glance down at her still visible body. It was hard to explain how she could make herself invisible, but every time she attempted... it just sent a numbing sensation throughout her body, made her head feel a little heavy, like she was on the brink of succeeding but... obviously not. It made her skin itch. She put her glove back on before she started scratching at the unpleasant feeling.

No, she had things to do, and honestly any place would be better that here. The cigs hadn't affected her speed anyway, and she was quick to zip out the door, no glances over her shoulder.

Chiara Moteku
xxxxxResponding
Chiara gave Hazmas a genuine smile. Someone who wanted to be her friend? This was new. It was like something she had never had before, and now wanted to keep close. But it was also weird. No one does this, especially not to Chiara. She half worried it was a trick, but when had she ever cared before? Getting caught up in tricks was what made life interesting. With a sigh to exhale some pent up stress, Chiara responded. "Thanks, that means a lot to me. Where were you going to go next? Mind if i tag along and join in on the investigating?"

Aconan popped into the central hivestem for a few moments, looking determined. Sitting down, she scribbled some notes in her book before cautiously approaching the Empress and curtseying as low as possible.

"Apologies for disturbing you, your grace, but may I write something upon the wall?"

Leeroi listened carefully to Elidae, waiting with bated breath to hear something that could possibly absolve his heroes. Instead, he mostly heard old information reiterated to him. It was strange how similar Elidae's information was to his. Some tidbits brought confirmation to some earlier suspicions, but it still wasn't something he was ready to share with the rest of the party. He looked at his feet, kicking them back and forth, and then glanced back up at the yellowblood, trying to disguise his worried expression. He gave a weak laugh.

"Seems like you got almost the same information as me," He said, clutching his notebook. "I didn't get anything out of those mutantbloods," He complained, scratching his neck with his other hand. He looked at Elidae again, locking eyes with her. "Sorry I don't really have much else to offer..." He apologized. Slowly, he reached into his notebook and took out a pre-folded note. He had been saving it for Psykgi, but he hadn't seen her around. Elidae seemed trustworthy enough, at least from what he had seen. And he just couldn't stop the nagging urge to tell somebody.
Dropping from his seat, he offered a hand to help Elidae down. "We should probably keep investigating, right?" He smiled. "So where are you headed to next, princess?" Already, just by talking to Elidae, he felt like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders. "Wherever it is, let's keep each other updated, alright?" He gave her a wink and his toothy winner's smile. Slipping the note into Elidae's hand, he turned and quickly made his way out of the room. The note itself contained Leeroi's most notable clues, reading as follows: "schrad has tattoos on wrists, little dots in different cool blood colors / (ioyana says puchen has same tattoo, but with lines— haven’t confirmed myself) / erilyn says schrad was sent back to alternia for investigation, highbloods were upset about the death count on her team- connected to tattoo? / schrad says epratt and comedi were fighting earlier. she couldn’t check it out, erilyn was in the way. / schrad suggested the killer is someone epratt orphaned in his hunts. / tigwyn says schrad is dual-psionic. he seems very certain, says to watch back around her / some tension between comedi and schrad— needs further investigating. / mutantbloods have trouble saying r-sounds?"

Eridia analyzed the wall and glared. As if she'd write anything because some obviously hormone affected lowblooded being told her so. The child crossed her arms and analyzed what the others have written so far and associated it with what she knew. Afterwards, Eridia walked away from the wall. She wouldn't want him to think he had won after all. Eridia thought that with Gerard missing, everyone would misinterpret it. That was something that couldn't happen. She saw familiar figures sitting on a... loveseat. Oh ho ho hoooo~

Were they exchanging some info? And what's with the whole knight in shining amour movements? Her senses tingled again as she spied on them from a safe distance. Oh she just had to approach them later. Too bad she was concentrating on the case.

Leeroi settled back in to the central hivestem, much more comfortable reviewing his notes without other trolls around him. Not that he had minded Elidae's presence, but he found her pretty distracting. There was work to be done, a crime to be solved!

      [+] Kursha Vidari

A short while after the third power outage, Kursha returned to the central hivestem. He had some questions for Her Majesty that could not wait any longer. Unfortunately, it looked like they would have to. A greenblood was currently pestering Regina over the chalk. With a huff, Kursha rolled his eyes and waited.

Scanning the room, he searched for any other trolls he knew that he could wheedle information from. At this point it was clear to him that not all the information that was uncovered made it up onto the wall. Either people had ulterior motives, or the nature of such was... too sensitive for public consumption. Unfortunately, no one he recognised was about. No one he felt like talking to anyway.

In one chair however, he spotted a familiar face; familiar in the sense at least that he had seen the blueblood around the central hivestem a few times. Most notably with Elidae. He felt a pang at the memory. That wasn't all though. With a frown Kursha studied the blueblood, taking in his attire. He had seen him somewhere else before. But where was it...?

An image of a young troll in a hoofbeast mask came to mind. Aha. So, this was the punk-a** kid who had raised a din about finding the culprit on his own and then left before Kursha could address everyone. He glanced back towards the wall where Regina still stood in conversation. Aside from Eostre's notes, there was a distinct lack of cooler colours. Nothing else between his blood hue and Regina's.

A sharp grin spread over Kursha's face as his jaw clenched. This kid...

Ohhhh? A voice drawled behind Leeroi. Kursha had slipped up behind him, quiet as a stalkbeast, and now peered over his shoulder. “Wow! You've got a notebook and everything. Almost like you're a real detective.” He gave a wink. “You don't mind if I take a look, do you?” As usual, Kursha did not bother waiting for a reply. He reached over to snatch the notebook, and holding it just out of reach, began to flip through it.

Leeroi's entire body went tense, totally shocked by Kursha's sudden appearance. He tried to mumble out something to say in response to the greenblood, but he was ultimately too slow. Sure enough, Leeroi's notebook had been snapped up by Kursha. "Hey!" He hollered, reaching for his book. Sadly, the taller greenblood was way out of his reach. Leeroi snarled, baring his teeth. "That's my autograph book, asshat! Give it back!" He snapped, grabbing at Kursha's leg and reaching higher. Kursha was the last troll Leeroi wanted to know the contents of his notes. The military slander, the insinuations he could make... It was too dangerous to share with someone trying to climb the ranks.

He had to do something fast. Clambering up so he was standing on a couch in front of Kursha, Leeroi glared. He paused for a half-second, letting his anger sink in. He didn't want to hurt the greenblood, sincerely. There was a point in time that Leeroi considered him kind of cool. But not after the military's last failure, and certainly not now.

Taking a step back, Leeroi stilled himself on the bouncy cushion. After a second, he propelled himself forward, leaping at Kursha with a headbutt. He let out a scream, seeking to collide with the greenblood's chest and knock the wind out of him.

      [+] Kursha Vidari

“Autograph book?” Kursha sneered, not bothering to even look at the kid. “What do you need that f...” He did not get a chance to finish. The blueblood let out a primal scream and proceeded to headbutt him. Kursha felt the air go out of him, as the blow connected in his chest. He involuntarily cringed. On one hand, the blueblood had not hit him that hard—how much damage could one measly kid do?—but on the other, it had only been a couple weeks since the mission in the swamp.

Letting out a snarl, Kursha hooked an arm around the kid's neck. Twisting, he leaned into him to force him to the floor. As they both fell, he drove all his weight onto the kid. They landed with a crash, the blueblood pinned beneath him. Sitting up, Kursha stepped on his back. “How about an apology?”

"s**t!" Leeroi yelled as he realized what was happening. He hit the ground hard, Kursha's weight knocking all of the air out of him. Falling facedown, his sniffnode collided with the floor. The impact made Leeroi shudder and wrinkle his face, and soon enough he felt blood trickling down and pooling on the floor. He grumbled, trying to recollect the energy to fight back.

"How about an apology?"

"How about you ******** off?" Leeroi shrieked, squirming under Kursha's boot. Seriously, didn't this guy have better things to do than pick on kids? He spat more blood on the floor. "What, do you beat up kids because you can't beat trolls your own size?" He yelled at Kursha, turning his head sideways to glare at him. Then he laughed— weakly, but nonetheless condescending.

In a quick move, Leeroi propped himself up and rolled out from under Kursha's foot. A sharp pain shot through his thinkpan as he sat up, making him suddenly feel faint. He fought through it, grabbing at Kursha's suit pants with both of his fists, drawing himself closer so he could sink his teeth deep into the greenblood's shins.

"Mera, then!" That was a nickname right from the start, right? That was good. She nodded along with understanding, flicking a glance up at the board as it was mentioned. Technically she had something up there, but it was in Kursha's color since he'd written it. She'd have to find something good to put up there too. "I've just gotten lots of stuff to think about too, nothing very solid. I guess because I've only talked to a couple of adults so far. Some of what they've told me is kind of interesting though!"

She went over it all in her mind again, considered, and then gave one more decisive nod. "I'll tell you what all they told me if you tell me what they told you!" They were still supposed to be sharing information, even if there was a little less of that after the situation with Gerard and the rumor. She needed to know more if she was gonna solve this, after all! She started to say more, but then there was a shriek from somewhere across the room and she startled, head turning.

"Why is he so awful?" She gasped, staring at Kursha and Leeroi. She was really very confused as to why it was happening at all, especially right now, but maybe the blueblood had tried being as awful to the Captain as he'd been to her, and now he was going to learn a lesson. Yes, that was it.

      [+] Kursha Vidari

Kursha grinned at the blueblood's reply. Of course it would not be that easy. If there was one thing he had learned from this event, it was that the kids were a bunch of self-important, mentally handicapped, entitled brats. Chiara, Eridia, this kid... just the weak links in the gene pool. Either they would smarten up real quick, or he would put their lights out. Maybe permanently. If he could not command their respect, he could at least command their fear.

Suddenly the blueblood slipped out from underneath him. His balance slipped. As Kursha steadied himself, the blueblood grabbed at his leg. A second later, there was a crunch. He let out a shriek. “You god damn tick! It was hard to say what hurt more: the blueblood's teeth in his shin, or his insult. Eyes watering, Kursha seized the blueblood by hair, and wrenched him from his leg.

“Lesson one,” he snarled, smashing the blueblood's forehead into the floor. “Don't pick fights you can't win. Lesson two!” He repeated the action. “A military officer deserves your respect, not your lip. Remember that. Lesson three!” He propped up the blueblood so that they were eye to eye. His blood ran hot in his face. He grinned, lowering his voice. “Mess with me, and I'll kill you.” He drove the blueblood face first into the ground one last time.
