But from what I'm read in the official update thread, this change was done to make future updates easier. So, are changes from here on out going to be on a schedule or just random/based on feedback? Always nosy.P.S. Lanzer, I hope your fingers and hand are feeling better! We do have new updates in the works, though it's taking a bit longer than expected unfortunately. Hope to see it soon Thanks for the info (and the coming updates)! Just wanted to clarify my question: I meant, are capsules going to be updated with different RIGs on a set schedule? It'd be a good way to re-release older items that people have been requesting. You know, if they're in preexisting RIGs. If you don't know right now, no worries! I know it's a new feature... just something that I was wondering about. They'll be updated in the future, we don't yet have a set schedule but I can always double check with the team!

This is only happening when I use my Mac with Safari. On my Mac and Chrome, it does not freeze. The game is still playable, as long as you don't need to use the My Kins tab. It seems when I try to play early in the morning (PST) it doesn't freeze. It might have to do with server traffic? When there are more people trying to play LK, it freezes? Because a hour or so later it will start to freeze again. I asked about it 4 weeks ago in the pre-ATS, and was told you hoped to have it fixed that week. Do you have an ETA on when that might be fixed? Thanks! June 26th, 2019: Lanzer Your Neglected Sex Toy Games - Lake KindredAs an avid Lake Kindred player and one who spends a lot of playtime in Fafnir's Peak I find myself to be stocked up with kins' egg which have no real use outside of the game. Me and other players find ourselves in situations where we're sitting on a pile of Rosepea, Flyvern and Vulcarus eggs and the only real options that we have as of now are either sell them back to the system for 0 platinum (!) or trash them. I don't count selling them on marketplace as these eggs are very easy to obtain in-game and there's little to no demand for them on the market. There used to be craftable items such as Rosepea Style, Flyvern Style and Vulcarus Style, but the recipes for them have been taken out of the game and honestly they're not that popular within the community anymore. I would like to propose an alternate route of dealing with the eggs, similar to what we already have when we want to acquire an Elegant Chirpette egg. It is a must to exchange 100 Chirpette eggs in order to get 1 Elegant Chirpette egg. So why shouldn't we have a similar technique applied to Rosepea, Flyvern and Vulcarus and get one recolored kin egg for a hundred of standard eggs? Basically like this: 100 Rosepea eggs -> 1 recolored Rosepea egg, same for Flyvern and Vulcarus. Benefits of such a change:1. Exchanging 100 eggs into 1 egg would help with decluttering user's inventory from all the additional eggs that drop. 2. It would establish a better economy on the marketplace for the eggs, meaning more incentive to play in specific areas. 3. Collection value: new kins which you could add to your personal collections. 4. The procedure would involve another site's feature - Alchemy. We'd have to pay a small amount for a formula to create a recolored kin egg + a small fee for the alchemy procedure. 5. The Kins would come free (apart from the small fee of Alchemy/Bitfrost formulas) and would be obtained solely through playing the game (meaning more playtime required for the eggs). 6. Most importantly! the models and animations are already in the game. Thus the only treatments that this change would require would be to recolor the three kins and probably twitch their in-game statistics a bit so they differ from the standard Rosepea, Flyvern and Vulcarus. I believe that 100 eggs is a fair amount of eggs required in order to obtain a 1 new egg, not too easy, not too hard. I'm focusing on Fafnir's Peak, because the area is the only one that has no real use for eggs outside of the game, but some users suggested they'd like to see a similar feature implemented in other areas (more recolored kins). The suggestion was met with a positive feedback from the LK community (basing on a thread which I created in LK Forum) and a lot of people expressed their support for the idea both in the forums and in the poll provided. (question: would it be a good change? 26 voted for 'yes', 0 for 'no', 11 for 'i don't know'). Thank you for the suggestions. We do have an update coming and we will look into what we can do, either before or after the update.

July 2nd, 2019: Lanzer DarkRybrin Gaming - Lake KindredMany months ago, and I believe for the first time about a year ago, I spoke with staff in an ATS about changing a very frustrating aspect of Lake Kindred, since the fix was supposedly an easy one: Daily Chance Timers.Summary: Daily Chance Timers, available from your equipped Kin at your Campsite, are automatically set to 23:59 when you claim the gift. This is extremely, massively inconvenient compared to how the rest of the timers are run on the site (the rest reset every day at the same time, super convenient and predictable.). My Suggestion: In ATS a very long time ago, I suggested that either: a. Timers be set to 22 or 20 hours so that you could adjust the time they came up, instead of always having to collect your dailies later and later, without feeling frustrated or missing drops. b. Timers be set to the same clock as the rest of the site, resetting at Midnight PST every day. Response: You said these things sounded easy enough, and you'd pass it along to the Kindred resource individual. Seeing as LK is about to get updates, and has gotten some small quality of life ones, I want to gently and hopefully remind you that we spoke about this matter, and that I'm not alone in wanting to see this changed. Sorry that seemed to have fell through the crack. I will work with Lionheart to make sure we'll make this change later this week.

August 6th, 2019: Lanzer 2sammygate games - kindredever since about a week and a half ago, kindred no longer loads at all for some people on some devices. it just shows a black screen. please undo whatever backend change caused this. ): i miss being able to play on my phone... Updates are coming soon as well as ability to play LK in the mobile app. Hopefully things will start working for you again.

August 14th, 2019: Lanzer 2sammygate Lanzer 2sammygate games - kindredfor the past 3 weeks or so, kindred has been blackscreening for certain people on certain devices. what this means is the game does not load at all. screenshot of dolphin on my iPhone (though none of my many browsers work, not even trying through the reddit app) when i saw kindred was in the app now, i immediately updated only to be crushed by another blackscreen. a few other people have been having this problem. what could possibly cause the game to not load at all? We will need to run some debug when the problem is occuring to find out what the cause would be. Please open your browser's console log (if on desktop) and see if there are any errors in the error log. Otherwise we will need to reproduce it on our end to fix the issue. August 20th, 2019: Lanzer What Happens At Night FeaturesWould you consider hosting an event for creating a new LK based on user designs?? That could be the theme of one of our art contest. Not sure what the theme of the next LK event would be but we can potentially include contest winners if any entries fit within the theme. Lanzer glengrin GAME/FEATURE Summer Event Phase 2 began but the screen to check off battled kin is not working so no way to collect the reward. Many of us have technically won it several times over, so I hope once that is working all kin are still showing fairly easily in battle. I'm sorry, apparently there is a bug in counting how the new kins were marked, please try again in a few minutes and see if it updates correctly. Lanzer Leothalis the Sorcerer Events/GamesSo we just hit phase 2 on the LK event. Fine and fun. However, we're still being plagued by horribly low drop rates for kins, especially since they're required for achievements. Now, while it was mentioned that there would be other methods to attain these kins come phase 3, we are still 6 days away from that, and there's no promise that this alternative way to obtain the kins will help with them existing - or rather, them NOT existing. Will a noteworthy drop rate increase be reconsidered? As it stands, some users have reported 500+ kin battles without seeing a single egg, and some users have hit quadruple digits before seeing a single egg from p1/p2 kins. I've fought all the things I needed to on the second list, and none of them are appearing as marked. But also, my Phase 1 checklist has been completely cleared of previous marks. On top of that... In the 3k+ stamina I have spent on the event with my kins, I have managed one egg drop -- and it wasn't even one of the event kins. It was a Willowcroak Are there plans to fix this stuff soon? Coz I'm getting really discouraged with this event and the amount of bugs it's had since launch -- not to mention the fact that the information about how the event is/was supposed to play out hasn't really all been there since launch. It kinda sucks to be so discouraged by an event, coz I've been really looking forward to LK getting some much needed love. Sorry the checkmarks should re-appear in 10 minutes. The egg drops will significantly increase on Phase 3. I will check and see if we can increase it for phase 2 also.

(not Cloud 9 though since not everyone has access to it, please...) There was one bundle that was released this summer & all I can remember was it had watermelon slices on the pic. It had 5? eggs in the bundle. I missed out on it & wished it was brought back... These bundles give us a chance to catch all the kin we're missing from our collection. If you brought something like this, I'm sure people would be more inclined to snag more GC and spend it. wink Of course! Bundles can always be brought back or just new ones can be made—we try and have each bundle have its own theme so kindred are bound to come back again. While egg drops are still relatively low in Lake Miasmal, many of us found that Miasmal Chiclex was dropping more often than all the other kin. If this continues, could we possibly have an alchemy recipe that would enable us to exchange extra Miasmal Chiclexes* for Eye of Viperex or maybe a new Chiclex recolor? *I have no idea what the plural of Chiclex is. Chiclexes? Chiclexi? Chicli? Is it just Chiclex in the same way that the plural of moose is moose? That's definitely a possibility, we will also be doing some balancing once his week's LK update is released.
