It eased a bit of his worry to know that they were ready to stick together, and hopefully in doing so they could keep one another safer. Watch each others' backs, so on and so forth... If they weren't too afraid to attack once they came face to face with their enemy.
"Together, then." He confirmed, managing a small smile with the comfort of companionship.
"We should prepare, gather our effects and go where we are needed."
He was moving, then, back toward the last room he recalled. Back toward what few things he'd had to set aside after taking his own pledge.

"Together" Jason repeated, following Yuki while making sure Riley was able to keep up.
"Y-yes, I would imagine we would need supplies...information...armor" He verbally repeated the lists of things he figured he would need. I felt good to focus on doing something instead of freaking out.

The forbidding feeling had no escaped Poke, and she looked around too as she felt the ominous forewarning before the castle shook, and all hell broke loose.
Though while everyone panicked, she took a different route.
Stepping onto the table, she picked up her claymore sword and swung it about.
"IT'S TIME TO SHOW THESE ******** WHO'S BOSS" She shouted, holding her sword aloft before jumping off and running down the hall giving Akubi and Haze the thumbs up
"FOR THE GLORY OF LANCELOT!"

Riley followed, because her writer is lazy but feels like making her exit official.
A figure in dark robes stalked into the banquet hall, exiting knights parting and moving around him with the occasional nod of respect. Thin and pale, Merlin was unremarkable save for the occasional moment where the intensity of his presence focused on you. Right now, though, he was focused on the young man aggressively sleeping on the table.
He hissed something in Mordred's ear causing the other to sit up with a sigh and look around. Noting Thackery still sitting there with the appropriate gaze of adoration, he lazily flapped a hand toward his underling. "This one will be able to do it. Won't you? There's a mirror in my room, very important and very far away..."
To illustrate this, he made a helpless reaching motion, the sort that in modern times would mean the television remote was greater than two feet away.

He was looking at him he was looking at him he was looking at him and saying words to him--
Thackery leapt from his chair so quickly that it clattered backwards onto the floor, and stood straight and tall (but not very), intending to look respectful. This was a bit muddled by the continued expression of his affections, as his hands were presently clasped over his heart.
"Yes! Yes, oh most perfect and greatest of the Knights, yes yes!" It might have been beneficial for his safety to inquire more about the what and the why of this, but none of that mattered, because The Gorgeous And Excellent Mordred had actually just invited him to his room. Sort of. No, definitely.
Definitely.
"I will find it! I will prove my unending devotion to you!" He was very nearly dancing in place, conflicted about which direction to go first in search of the room and the mirror. If only he could split into two! "Where's your room? Wait, wait, is this...is it a test? Should I find it on my own? I can find it by myself! Probably!"
He'd just check every room until he found the one that smelled so perfect. That would work!

[Lawrence]
Lawr had slipped out for a time after setting aside his glass and he returned with the same slinking calm, wearing a strange fae tabard and looking a great deal more scruffy, he had no inclination to tidy himself up, not certain why he had possessed the need to be so meticulously dressed when he arrived.
There was something happening outside and people seemed to be moving more than usual, the noise levels were louder than they had been. He did not find combat interesting. Instead he moved to one of the tables and sat again, this time without a cup or plate, feeling the motivation to move sap away, replaced only with the desire to wait and watch, curious if nothing else what the answers might be.

"It's at the top of the tower, dear one. Don't mind the guardians within, they're only there to watch me." Rolling his head back to smile wanly at Merlin, he corrected, "Watch over me, of course. And so thankful I am for it."
Turning his attention back to Thackery he added, "Do be quick, the mirror is an item of great importance to me...and the defense of the castle." An afterthought at best.
Gazing heavenward, Merlin accepted fate with which he was saddled and simply said to Thack, "Do not get side-tracked."

1-5: Thack is lost in the hustle of the siege preparations, distractions and people wanting things lurk at every corner! 6-7: Thack finds Mordred's room. Proceed to next prompt! 8-9: Thack went to the wrong tower and tried to enter Merlin's rooms instead. Quote me. 10: Thack finds a secret castle exit by accident. He is outside and the world seems strange, fear begins to fill him, his heart pounding so hard it feels like it will either explode or simply give out on him. Quote Me.
Mordred's Rooms: Purple is everywhere, in plush pillows and the vibrant fold of the drapes. It's an opulent set of rooms save for the odd addition, here and there, of stone statues. Their gaze malevolent and features grotesque, they seem to watch Thack as he wanders in search of the mirror.
He'll find it at the dressing table, covered in a silk cloth that shimmers strangely, only the handle peeking out. Perhaps it would be better to leave it covered.
Amongst all the commotion, Lurks took the chance to recoup their lost spoils-- right off the floor, with no intention to clean before consumption-- and scurry away, crunching on a raw turnip all the while.

My character's name: lurks beneath Character's journal link:here BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER
Lurks is little more than five feet tall, including the voluminous amount of rags covering them from head to toe. Half cloak and half bandage, Lurks still looks like the beggar they used to be, before becoming a knight, as they're uncomfortable being exposed in any capacity. A high cowl or scarf always covers the lower portion of their face, meaning they're a little-bit muffled most of the time. They always carry a small corn husk doll, if only they could remember what it was for...
The only hint that they're a knight at all comes in the form of a paltry scythe, which is only a little bit taller than they are.

In the second directly following the words 'dear one', Thackery looked very much like he was going to just collapse out of oppressively massive levels of joy. It was entirely possible that the only reason this didn't happen was because his need to fulfill this important task surpassed even his own happiest feelings ever.
He nodded along with the instructions, trying his hardest to listen without becoming hopelessly distracted by Mordred's truly flawless appearance.
"I'll do it! I'll do everything I've gotta to make sure you have what's important to you! 'Cause you're of great importance to me."
The dreamy sigh that reflexively followed would have been better suited from the mouth of a young lovestruck maiden. He wasn't ashamed of the noise, but he did acknowledge that dreamy sighs were taking up valuable time here.
"Okay. Okay!" He hopped up and down on his toes, beaming at Mordred. "I promise I'll make you happy!"
With that, he darted off through the nearest exit, desperately trying to remember if he'd even seen any stairs in the time he'd been here.

[EXIT]
The surly knight left, and Claude only spared him a brief glance as she took another swig of her mead. The knight's prolonged silence next to her didn't go unnoticed, but she had nothing further to say until he replied. Maybe.
She didn't have much longer to focus, as something shook up the hall and sent the rest of the Great Knights scattering. Claude was only still for a moment longer to down the rest of her mead before she let go of the pint, pushing the chair back to stand. "You draw more attention trying not to draw attention." She glanced down at him. "I think I should go." A pause. "I have an opinion on what I believe you should do as well...but I'll keep that to myself." She smirked briefly before dipping her head in a light nod before she left, her long legs carrying her quickly.

Hazethe Black knight-apprentice ◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆
The white-haired man didn't realize the woman had noticed him until she boldly made her acquaintance towards him. Piling some more food on his plate causing him to narrow his eyes down at the additional morsels. His lips pressed tightly in a line causing them to go white for a moment. He really didn't need the extra nutrition, the boy barely ate in general, but he wasn't about to reject her offer. It would cause unnecessary conflict after all. Sinking down into his seat he would open his mouth to mumble out a simple 'thanks', but before any words could escape from his throat a shiver ran down his spine.
Thump
At first he thought it was just his heart beating loudly, but as the man's head swiveled around he saw the unsettled statures of those around him. Then came the second thump. This time knowing for a fact that it was coming from the outside. His silver eyes blinked as he startled from the loud proclamation coming from Poke. Watching as she so fervently stepped a foot on the table. Knocking over some of the food she was so inclined to give him. It wasn't like he was going to eat it anyway. His body lurched up from its seat as the final crash reverberated through the dinning hall. What the hell was happening? Haze had seemed to have been lulled into a false sense of security when he entered such a friendly surrounding of the dinning hall. But now he remembered the darkened reality all too well. Clenching his teeth together he pulled the red cloth of his scarf up to cover his mouth some. Heeding to the calm of arms as he turned from the table and followed the others. He really hated unnecessary conflict.
