King Earle "Long live the king."━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━Earle nodded and began walking off. He flexed his fingers to shoot a stream out of each finger, each stream heading off in their own direction to help his search for the supplies. After about ten minutes he was given the needed tools and returned to Aldrich's side. " This will sting a bit." he warned as he dabbed a cloth with cleansing alcohol. He looked at Aldrich to see if he was ready then lightly touched the wound with the damp cloth. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Aldrich Brandt As used to it as he should've been, Aldrich still arched his back and hissed in pain before forcing himself to relax. " Don't worry about being gentle. It's not my first gunshot wound." His body backed up his claim, old wound and scars covering his visible torso. Aldrich hadn't lived an easy life in Africa.

King Earle "Long live the king."━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━" You've been through quite a lot." Earle commented as he continued dabbing the wound. Once he was done he removed the second bandage and pressed a fresh cloth against it. In the midst of it he noticed the scars over the host's chest. " Just how many gunshot wounds have you gone through?" ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Aldrich Brandt He was silent for a moment, trying to decide what was the right way to answer. " My business runs on diamonds that are found through the process of civil wars and massacres." His voice was very quiet, as if he was ashamed of this fact. " Count the scars you see, and multiply by two." That wasn't even counting the scars that couldn't be seen on his flesh, the long healed evidence of torture. His trade was very dangerous.

King Earle "Long live the king."━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━" I never took you for a blood diamond trader." Earle commented as he set the new bandages down, smoothing them down and making sure they stuck. He noticed the pain in Aldrich's voice, but chose not to dwell on it. There would be no use in opening old wounds (no pun intended). Done with the shoulder, Earle motioned for Aldrich to turn around and began removing the bandage at his back. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Aldrich Brandt He nodded and turned around, clearing his throat and staring at the ground. It was much easier to explain his work without looking at him. " I was born very poor. My father was a weak man and was easily pushed into the blood diamond trade, smuggling diamonds across borders. It wasn't hard to shove him aside and take over. I smuggled them myself and rose through the ranks, eventually branching off and creating my own business. By the time I was sixteen, I my company was a key factor in about 76% of international smuggling operations. Now we smuggle diamonds, guns, people, whatever we're paid to." Aldrich paused, closing his eyes. " Alan doesn't want the company. He doesn't want this life. I can hardly blame him, but it doesn't leave much for whenever I die and the business is left in the air."

King Earle "Long live the king."━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━" Often time time people don't want a life handed to them. Some just aren't ready to carry such a huge legacy." Earle said while cleaning the wound. " My own son wasn't willing to inherit the kingdom, nor was he too pleased about the tradition of turning into a frog. Can't say I blame him. But he eventually came around, maybe your son will to. If he doesn't then it isn't unheard of to entrust your company to a close friend." ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Aldrich Brandt He shook his head. " I don't have friends. Alan's the only person in this world that I trust with my business. He's the only person who has been trained perfectly for the job." He flinched at the cleaning, almost jolting away, but forcing himself to remain in place.

King Earle "Long live the king."━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━Earle waited to put the last bandage on before speaking. " You can't have seriously only trained one person for this?" he asked Aldrich with a look of disbelief on his otherwise stoic face. " You're a talented and charming enough man. Surely you have some friends?" ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Aldrich Brandt " None that I trust with my business." He blushed a little at the compliment, but tried to remain on point. " Alan's the only one I know that could handle it. Hell, he's been handling a gun since he was five."

King Earle "Long live the king."━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━" I've been in this world long enough to know that it's easy to get some corrupt enough to like a business like what you've got. After we're done with your ex-wife we can work on either finding you someone for your business or getting your son to accept his fate." Earle said while crossing his arms. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Aldrich Brandt He nodded his thanks, then remained silent. He really hated the idea of leaving his company to anyone but Alan, almost as much as he hated the idea of being near his b-tch ex-wife. After a few minutes, he spoke up once more. " Why are you helping me so much?" he asked, feeling like they weren't entirely even.

King Earle "Long live the king."━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━" I've pined after Heinrich for my entire life. That's about five of yours. If you can help me win what's left of my time with him then I owe you a lifetime of happiness." Earle replied easily. He turned halfway to grab the shirt and turned back to hand it to Aldrich. " Besides I like you enough. You remind me a little of myself, only not as corrupted." he said with a half-smile. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Aldrich Brandt Taking the shirt, Aldrich carefully tugged it on, buttoning it up and leaving it untucked. He didn't feel like standing on ceremony today. He chuckled at the comparison. " Wow, then you must be awful. I mean, I smuggle human beings if I'm being paid enough." He pointed out, silently wondering how awful Earle really was.

King Earle "Long live the king."━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━Earle, however, wore a serious look. " I've done evil things, Aldrich. I've seen monsters, murders, and corruption and didn't blink. My hands are bloodier than you could imagine." he said somberly. " I sold my soul to the Devil long before I gained these powers." ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
